Ted Brocklebank (born 24 September 1942) is a Scottish Conservative politician.

Brocklebank was previously a journalist and a television producer, having been Head of News and Current Affairs at Grampian Television. He stood for the Fife North East constituency in the 1999 election for the Scottish Parliament, coming second to Liberal Democrat Iain Smith. This was repeated in the 2003 election, although the Conservatives' share of the vote increased. This time however, Brocklebank was elected through the regional list for Mid Scotland and Fife.

He was the rural affairs spokesman of the Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party, and a member of the party's Shadow Cabinet. In February 2007 he resigned from the Shadow Cabinet after David Cameron changed the party's stance on fisheries, specifically the threat of withdrawal from the EU's Common Fisheries Policy. Mr Brocklebank did not seek re-election at the Scottish Parliament general election, 2011.

William Kenneth MacKenzie (b. December 12, 1911 in Winnipeg, Manitoba – d. May 29, 1990) is a former Canadian ice hockey defenceman.

MacKenzie started his National Hockey League career with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1932. He also played for the Montreal Maroons, Montreal Canadiens, and New York Rangers. In January 1935 Bill MacKeznie was loaned to the New York Rangers, for the rest of season, for cash. In the Stanley Cup semi-finals Montreal Maroons defeated the New York Rangers, then defeated Toronto in the Finals. MacKenzie's name somehow was included on the cup, even though he was member of Rangers at the time the Maroons won the Stanley Cup. After the season ended MacKenzie was returned to the Maroons. He began the 1936 season with the Maroons, playing 10 game, but was traded to the Montreal Canadiens. Before the start of the 1938 Bill was traded to Chicago. He helped the Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup in 1938 getting his name of the Stanley Cup a second time (first time officially). He left the NHL after the 1940 season. He played several more seasons in the AHL before retiring from hockey after 1945.

Selina Scott (born 13 May 1951) is a British newsreader, journalist, television producer and presenter.

Scott was born in Scarborough, North Riding of Yorkshire, in 1951, the eldest of five children. Her late father, Charles, was a police sergeant and her mother, Betty (née Bumby), was formerly a journalist from Ryedale, North Yorkshire.

She completed her secondary education at the Laurence Jackson School in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, where she was head girl, whilst living in Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Cleveland. She then continued her studies at the University of East Anglia, reading English and American Literature.

Initially resisting the temptation to continue a family trait working in journalism Scott succumbed and went to work on The Sunday Post in Dundee, Scotland, for two years. She then took up the post of Press officer for the Tourist board on the Isle of Bute. She then began broadcasting after being hired by Ted Brocklebank, then Head of News & Current Affairs, later a Tory MSP, as a reporter and presenter with Grampian TV in 1978. She made her television debut on the nightly news programme Grampian Today, presenting from a North Sea oil platform and at the summit of Cairn Gorm. She later became one of the launch team for North Tonight.
