So, my friend Cami and I had the opportunity to do my internship in China for about 4 months. We settled down in Huangdao, a district from Qingdao (North's China).
This video sums up my journey over there, including : Qingdao, Shanghai, Xi'an and Beijing. I also had a part time job as English Teacher @ Shandong University of Science and Technology and met amazing people there. Have fun !
PS: not a professional video tho, not a GoPro camera... Sorry for the ending with the song "See you again" which was cut off a lil bit lol !

Today was the last day of semester one, and Rachael is leaving. I'm very grateful for all the golden memories we've shared together, and getting to spend the holidays with her. We haven't been friends for a long time, but it has felt like we've known each other every life time. Being able to share this with everyone and keeping it stored somewhere in the world wide web forever is truly amazing.

Perhaps scores blown to bits and more injured as the city famous for it's beer gets hammered by explosion caused by chemical plant. Deflagration of deep underground pipeline leading to the plant? That is when gas that leaks from cracking pipes reach the surface in concentrate and ignite. Link below to China story. Hit translate at the top. Though in that story it mentions a car bomb? Huangdao District
Huangdao District (simplified Chinese: 黄岛区; traditional Chinese: 黃島區; pinyin: Huángdǎo Qū; literally: "yellow island") is a district of Qingdao, Shandong, China, located southwest and west of the main urban area of the city on the western shore of Jiaozhou Bay. It was identical to Qingdao Economic and Technological Development Zone (QETDZ) (simplified Chinese: 青岛经济技术开发区; traditional Chinese: 青島經濟技術開發區; pinyin: Qīngdǎo Jīngjì Jìshù Kāifāqū) which was launched in 1985 after the zone was merged with Huangdao District and set up the Free Trade Zone in 1992. In December 2012, neighbouring Jiaonan City was merged into Huangdao.
The pillar industries engaged in the zone include electronics, household electric appliances, building materials, petrochemicals, machinery and pharmaceuticals. It is connected via the Jiaozhou Bay Bridge.
The alias of Huangdao is Western Coast of Qingdao. The number of living people is 1.71 million in 2014.
Administrative divisions
Huangdao District is divided into 12 subdistricts and 11 more rural towns; the latter half of the current subdistricts and all towns were ceded from Jiaonan City.
