A greengrocer or fruiterer is a retail trader in fruit and vegetables; that is, in green groceries. Greengrocer is primarily a British and Australian term, and greengrocers' shops were once common in suburbs, towns and villages. They have been affected by the dominant rise of supermarkets, but many can be found managing small shops or stores in towns and cities and in some villages. Greengrocers can also be found in street markets and malls, or managing produce departments at supermarkets. Such traders typically handle the entire business of buying, selling, and book-keeping themselves.
Because of its supposed misuse on greengrocers' signs, such as for apple's, orange's or banana's, an apostrophe used incorrectly to form a plural is known as a greengrocers' apostrophe.
Marit Elisabeth Larsen (born 1 July 1983) is a Norwegian singer and songwriter. She began playing violins at age of 5, and played it until the age of 8. She gained international fame during her teenage years as a member of the pop duo M2M with childhood friend Marion Raven. More recently she has pursued her own music career releasing her solo debut album, Under the Surface, in 2006. Her second album, The Chase, was released in Norway in October 2008. The third album, entitled Spark was released in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark on 18 November 2011 and Germany, Austria, Switzerland on 16 December 2011.
Recognizable as the lighter-haired of the two musicians of M2M, Larsen played the guitar, while Raven played the piano, and did half of the vocals and songwriting. After touring the world and producing two albums with hits such as "Don't Say You Love Me", "Mirror Mirror", and "Everything", M2M was dropped by Atlantic Records in September 2002. Larsen made a guest appearance in the American television series Dawson's Creek, 100 Light Years From Home episode. The episode also featured M2M performing "Everything".
Joseph Carcione (October 31, 1914 – August 2, 1988) was a consumer advocate known as "The Green Grocer."
Carcione owned and operated a produce import/export business in South San Francisco at the Golden Gate Produce Terminal II. He hosted short television bits offering advice in the world of produce, and wrote a newspaper column and two books on the same subject. The Greengrocer television news feature was produced on location at the Golden Gate Produce Terminal and syndicated throughout the United States and Canada. Commercial television stations contracted with Mighty Minute Programs of San Francisco to obtain the exclusive rights to broadcast Joe Carcione's Greengrocer report on a market-by-market basis. In some television markets, the feature was sponsored by grocery stores interested in associating with The Greengrocer.
Carcione married Madeline Ahern in 1937. They had three children. He died of intestinal cancer at Peninsula Hospital in Far Rockaway, New York on August 2, 1988 and was entombed at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, California.

Plot
Jan Bocquoy narrates the story of his sexual life to age 28, imagining his conception (parents drunk, the encounter lasting ten seconds) and reporting his first orgasm (at the hands of Eddy, in a beach-side caravan, as they watch Laurel and Hardy), his comparative experiences with girls, and his move from Harelbeck to Brussels. There he meets Greta, bartender at a Bohemian cafe, who teaches him the Kama Sutra, the naked Esther, who reads him stories, and Thérèse, his wife for three years. They split after two children; he moves to a small flat, writes pornography to pay the bills, works sporadically on a novel, espouses anarchism, and meets more women. His self-confidence grows.
