Charles Henry "Chuck" Mosley III (born December 26, 1959) is an American singer-songwriter. Mosley was the front-man of the band Faith No More for their first two albums, We Care a Lot and Introduce Yourself, before being replaced by Mike Patton.
Mosley was born in Hollywood, California, but raised in South Central Los Angeles and Venice. He was adopted at a very early age, as talked about in the Faith No More biography book, "The Real Story.". In a 2013 interview, Mosley said "[My Parents] met at some kind of socialist/communist get-together in the '50s. They were interracial - my mom was Jewish and my dad was black and American Indian. So that was something controversial in itself. My dad had a daughter and my mom had two daughters, and all they were missing was a boy, so they went out and adopted one, and it was me."
Mosley first met Billy Gould in 1977, going to a The Zeros, Johnny Navotnee and Bags show. He then went on to play keyboards in Billy's first band, The Animated, in 1979.
(Hook)
My life ( My Life)
Just living my life
My life ( My Life)
Just living my life, my life
I'm in the fight for my life, and for all of my life so you know that's why I'm living my life ( My Life)
Just living my life
My life ( My Life)
Just living my life (my life)
I'm in the fight for my life, and for all of my life so you know that's why I'm living my life
Chuck DZul ( verse 1):
Reminiscing bout the past and a n*99a getting older
And my arms are getting heavy and I can't even lift this boulder
Off of my shoulders mane, and a n*99a still pressin
Living thru hard times instead of counting my blessings
This is the gutta gospel and I'm preaching thru this rap game
And I'm painting you a picture, you don't need no frame, just you brain
Mary Jane, she keep me cool and chill when I ride
And help me fight all the pain and misery inside
Tell me have you sat up and wondered high
If there's heaven for a G, if so, when will you die
Man it's hard in these streets, I wish you would've had yo heat
Even thought you not here wit me I put your soul upon this beat
Making moves everyday dawg you gotta watch your back
I put the burner to yo chest cause it's feelings that I lack
Tell me is it hard for you, cause I know it's hard for me
For me to go to sleep and don't think about my G
