David Robert Jones (8 January 1947 – 10 January 2016), known as David Bowie (/ˈboʊ.i/), was an English singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, painter, and actor. He was a figure in popular music for over five decades, and was considered by critics and musicians as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. His career was marked by reinvention and visual presentation, and his music and stagecraft significantly impacted popular music. During his lifetime, he sold an estimated 140 million records worldwide. Time Will Crawl (MM Remix) included on the album iSelect (or iSelectBowie) is a remix featuring several newly-recorded parts in an effort to revisit some of the material Bowie had released as part of 'Never Let Me Down' (1987), an album which he had identified himself as being disappointed with. iSelect (or iSelectBowie) is a collection of personal favourites compiled by Bowie himself and was available exclusively as a free gift with the June 29th (2008) edition of British newspaper The Mail on Sunday.

Extended Dance Mix by David Bowie released on the 'Time Will Crawl' EP in 1987 and again as a digital download in 2007. Written by David Bowie. Produced by David Bowie and David Richards.
A BRAND NEW MIX with Sterling Campbell on drums. Given away for free on a compilation disc called iSELECTBOWIE in a British Tabloid paper. It's an official mix, with Bowie himself behind it. His comments on it were: "There are a host of songs that I've recorded over the years that for one reason or another (clenched teeth) I've often wanted to re-record some time in the future. This track from Never Let Me Down is one of those. I've replaced the drum machine with true drums and added some crickety strings and remixed. I'm very fond of this new version with its Neil Young of Shortlands accents. Oh, to redo the rest of that album. One Saturday afternoon in April 1986, along with some other musicians I was taking a break from recording at Montreux studios in Switzerland. It was a b...
This is a remix from the original track included in the album "Never Let Me down". "Time Will Crawl" was always an underrated song from Bowie and I think that this this mix is better than the original album version. Enjoy.

The Next Day was, by many fan admissions, the ultimate "comeback" record for Bowie. Breaking a nine-year silence in which the only word of Bowie was from a couple of compilation releases and reissues, The Next Day was a welcomed and well-recieved record by fans and critics alike. With a smashing title track and a controversial video to back it up, it proved anyone who had any doubts that David Bowie was back, stronger than ever, and with a paritcular roar that hadn't been heard before. David Bowie interview with Kerry O'Brien on Australian TV program "7.30 Report" broadcast in 2004. Re-broadcast on TV program "Rage" on 15 January 2016 as part of a tribute to David Bowie. RIP.
After a total of 74 concerts, David Bowie's Diamond Dogs/Philly Dogs Soul Tour closed in Atlanta on 1st December 1974. three days later on the 4th December, Dick Cavett's Wide World Of Entertainment screened this pre-recorded appearance of David Bowie that had been taped in New York on 2nd November while Bowie was there for his Radio City Music Hall shows. During the Dick Cavett Show, Bowie and his band gave excellent performances of '1984', 'Young Americans' and 'Footstompin'. Another song 'Can You Hear Me?' was not televised, due to broadcast time limitations. During the interview with Cavett, Bowie's exhausted physical and mental state was all too painfully obvious. He fended off Cavett's questions with hostile and garbled answers, whilst at the same time flirting and pouting his lips...
Talk with Michael Parkinson and as second guest Tom Hanks. Bowie performs "Everyone says "HI"" from the album "Heathen" and "Life on Mars" in the show. About the song "Life on Mars" and the link to Frank Sinatra: When released as a single in 1973, it reached number three in the UK and stayed on the chart for thirteen weeks. In 2015 Neil McCormick, chief rock music critic of "The Daily Telegraph", ranked it as number one in his "100 Greatest Songs of All Time" list. In 1968 Bowie wrote the lyrics "Even a Fool Learns to Love", set to the music of a 1967 French song "Comme d'habitude", composed by Claude François and Jacques Revaux. Bowie's version was never released, but Paul Anka bought the rights to the original French version, and rewrote it into "My Way", the song made famous by Frank Si...
This is arguably one of Bowie's most underrated albums. In fact, people have gone on to call it the worst album of his career and, furthermore, of all time. If you haven't heard it before, definitely give it a listen and if you didn't like it when you heard it the last time, I challenge you to give it another try. It was a huge honor to work with MrCreepyPasta on 2 videos. He obviously stole the show in this one - thank you for lending your amazing narration skills for a video. Check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrCreepyPasta Please excuse my microphone quality getting worse after around the second story. My good one stopped working for whatever reason, i'll need a new one. This should rap it up for the "official" Halloween themed videos, but I should have another up before November that will still be appropriate for Halloween. I've never sailed on a sea
I would not challenge a giant
I could not take on the church
Time will crawl
Till the 21st century lose
I know a government man
He was as blind as the moon
He saw the sun in the night
He took a top-gun pilot and he
He made him fly thru a hole
Till he grew real old
And he never came down
He just flew till he burst
Time will crawl
Till our mouths
run dry
Time will crawl
Till our feet
grow small
Time will crawl
Till our tails
fall off
Time will crawl
till the 21st century lose
I saw a black black stream
Full of white eyed fish
And a drowning man
With no eyes at all
I felt a warm warm breeze
That melted metal and steel
I got a bad migraine
That lasted three long years
And the pills that I took
Made my fingers disappear
Time will crawl, time will crawl
Time will crawl
Till the 21st century lose
You were a talented child
You came to live in our town
We never bothered to scream
When your mask came off
We only smelt the gas
As we lay down to sleep
Time will crawl
and our heads bowed down
Time will crawl
and our eyes fall out
Time will crawl
and the streets run red
Time will crawl
till the 21st century lose
Time will crawl
and our mouths run dry
Time will crawl
and our feet grow small
Time will crawl
and our tails fall off
Time will crawl
till the 21st century lose
Time will crawl
and our heads bowed down
Time will crawl
and our eyes fall out
Time will crawl
and the streets run red
Time will crawl
till the 21st century lose
For the crazy child
We'll give every life
