Quirinius - Blue Cyberia
This one of my earliest recordings, with the original master on cassette tape. I think it still sounds pretty good. Has a nice bass solo about halfway through the song.

Was Jesus Born under King Herod or Quirinius?
gregvandenberge.com Was Jesus Born During The Reign Of King Herod Or When Quirinius Was Governor Of Syria. Matthew 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, Wise-men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, Matthew 2:2 Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we saw his star in the east, and are come to worship him. Matthew 2:3 And when Herod the king heard it, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. Luke 2:1 Now it came to pass in those days, there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be enrolled. Luke 2:2 This was the first enrolment made when Quirinius was governor of Syria. Luke 2:3 And all went to enrol themselves, every one to his own city. Luke 2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David; Luke 2:5 to enrol himself with Mary, who was betrothed to him, being great with child. Historians believe that this census took place between 6 and 7 CE and they also believe that Herod the Great died in 4 BCE. This creates a problem or another contradiction about the date Jesus was supposedly born. gregvandenberge.com

QUIRINIUS GOVERNS X2 - FALSE HEROD DEATH IN 4 BCE!
To ProfMTH, resolution of Luke 2:2 reference to a previous governorship by Quirinius in 2 BC, and the corrected dating of Herod's death on Shebat 2, 1 AD. Thus the conflict between the gospels and secular history are related to the revision of Herod's death back to 3 BCE from 1 AD. However, the true date is easily recovered via Josephus' cryptic references including a lunar eclipse that can only be matched to 1 BCE, confirming Herod's original date of death to 1 AD.

Archaeology: Digging for the Truth of the Bible - www.youtube.com The Search for Sodom And Gomorrah - www.youtube.com Egyptian Discoveries Enlighten, Support the Bible - www.youtube.com New Artifact Supports Antiquity of Bible - www.youtube.com Luke 2:1-2 "And it came to pass on those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria." Skeptics are forever trying to find errors in the Bible so that they can discredit it as God's Word. When a faithful Bible scholar discovers some puzzle in Scripture, he never assumes that he has found an error. He assumes that he doesn't have all the information necessary to resolve the question. As believers would expect, every so called puzzle that has been resolved has been resolved in favor of the accuracy of the Bible. In each of these cases, those who said that they had discovered an error in the Bible were proven wrong. One of the more interesting puzzles that was finally solved concerned Luke's account of Christ's birth. Was Quirinius really governor of Syria when Christ was born in 4 BC? Scholars knew that he was governor in 6 AD But there was no evidence that he had governed Syria in 4 BC Some 19th century scholars wrote that Luke must have made a mistake with the date of the census, since Quirinius wasn't governor when Christ was born. Then, in 1912, an inscription was discovered that was dated to around 10 BC It said that ...

Ashe Montage [HD]
League Of Legends Ashe Montage, Watch in HD to increase quality. Music information to the right. No copyright intended, all rights belong to the artist. Sniperdot (Quirinius) recorded and uploaded some of his Ashe gameplay footage. Recorded using LOLreplay. It's still in its early stages which may explain why you see some Enchanted Crystal Arrows or Volley being fired while they appear to be on cooldown. It is then converted into an uploadable format using Fraps. Watch it in HD to get the most out of it. OH YEAH, this is also our first video on this channel, so we hope you enjoy it. Comment, Like and Subscribe if you want. More videos will be added in the future.

The best contradiction against Christians
This is a contradiction which can not be countered with the usual "mistranslation" or "copyist error" or any other typical apologetic response. This contradiction is quite simple: Either Matthew got it wrong, Luke got it wrong, or they BOTH got it wrong! Some common attempts at rebuttals: "It's not Herod the Great." If you look at Matthew 2:22 you'll see a reference to Archelaus and "his father" Herod. Archelaus was the son of Herod THE GREAT and brother to Antipas. Antipas is mentioned in 14:1-2. So YES, it IS Herod the Great. "Quirinius was governor twice." This is an assertion which has nothing to support it other than more assertions. "It didn't mean 'governor' but instead 'one who governs'...so it could have been a lesser office of power." Luke only makes ONE reference to Quirinius and it's to establish that he was governor of Syria at the time. If he were in any less of an office, the entire point of bringing up his name would be worthless. It would be the same as pointing out that there was an attack on American soil when Obama was a Senator in an article that isn't about Obama and we never reference him again. If we are trying to attach a political figure to establish roughly when it happened (as Luke is obviously doing) we would name President Bush, not someone else.

When Was Jesus Born?
Luke 2:1 Born Gaius Octavius in 63 bc (known to historians as "Octavian"), Caesar Augustus was emperor of the Roman world at the time of Jesus' birth. The grand-nephew of Julius Caesar, Octavian's rise to power began when Caesar was assassinated in 44 bc In his will, Caesar had adopted Octavian as his son. Now known as Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus, Octavian at first shared power with a three man "triumvirate", or board of three, including himself and two of Julius Caesar's aids, Marcus Lepidus and Mark Antony. After Lepidus fell from power in 36 bc, civil war broke out between Antony and Octavian. Antony allied himself with Cleopatra, queen of Egypt, but their combined forces were defeated by Octavian at Actium in 31 bc Octavian conquered Egypt in the following year and Antony and Cleopatra committed suicide. The Roman Senate recognized Octavian as supreme leader of Rome, and in 27 bc bestowed on him the title "Augustus" ("exalted" or "venerable" one). Augustus ruled as emperor until his death in ad 14, when he was replaced by Tiberius. Demonstrating extraordinary skills as a leader and administrator, he inaugurated the Pax Romana ("Roman Peace"), an unprecedented period of peace and stability throughout the Mediterranean region. The freedom and relative safety of travel afforded by this peace would prove a major factor for the rapid expansion of the gospel message. The main Roman emperors of the New Testament period following Augustus include: Tiberius (ad 14--37). The ...
