The Jewish State of Israel and the truth about the Middle East Conflict
Video about the creation of the Jewish State of Israel. The song during the first four minutes is from Psalms 95 and 120. I made less effort when editing the rest of the video, since I initially intended to make a video of just four minutes or so to go with the song. But, then, I just wanted to add some more information about the collaboration between the Nazi's and Palestinians and about the connection between Nazism and (radical) Islam in general. I think the video as a whole turned out quite alright, though. If I had the resources, I'd make a long documentary or something, because there are just so many things that need to get some light shed upon. But, for now, I can only do so much. I hope you appreciate the video. Shalom. Am Yisrael Chai! (As for the used footages: No copyright infringement intended. For educational and research purposes only.)

Palestinians protest Gaza offensive
Palestinians clash with Israeli security forces during a protest against Gaza offensive, dozens rally in Ramallah against air strikes. Protesters threw stones at Israeli soldiers who fired tear gas to disperse the crowd near Ofer prison, causing several injuries most of which due to gas suffocation. As cross-border violence between Gaza militants and the Jewish state continues for a fourth day, dozens of Palestinians gathered in the West Bank city of Ramallah, to protest at Israeli air strikes on the coastal strip. Arab League foreign ministers are expected to meet for an emergency session in Cairo later in the day to discuss the crisis in Gaza and demand an end to the Israeli assault. Israel under attack: civilian population counting on Iron Dome
With rockets fired from Gaza again threatening thousands of Israelis on a regular basis, a facility in a remote region of northern Israel is looking to develop its missile defence system technology in order to better protect the Jewish state from incoming projectiles. Israel's Iron Dome system, produced by Rafael Advanced Defence Systems, has been operational since 2011 and in recent months has been effective at stopping 90% of rockets fired from Gaza which the system attempted to intercept. The Iron Dome has been lauded as a cost effective solution for countering short-range rockets and artillery shell threats with a range of 70 kilometres but one of its creators, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said it is not a complete solution to Israel's security needs. System engineer: "Iron Dome is not meant to enable the state of Israel to stand back and say 'Bring on the rockets'. Iron Dome is meant to give Israel and Israeli leaders time, it's meant to intercept the first volley, the first days, the first weeks of volleys of rockets, but that will give us time to choose where we plan and how we plan to stop it, either via political means or via military means." Officials at Rafael Advanced Defence Systems say Israel has five Iron Dome systems set up around the country, but that many more are needed. The initial Iron Dome system was developed entirely by Israel but the US contributed about USD 205 million to its expansion. US lawmakers are currently debating whether an ...

OPERATION PILLAR OF DEFENSE: anti-Israel protests throughout the Muslim world
As Gaza militants continue to fire rockets into southern Israel, and the Jewish state responds with targeted airstrikes, anti-Israel protests have erupted in many Muslim countries. Chanting "free Palestine" and "no compromise" Tunisians marched in the streets of the capital Tunis to express their solidarity for the people of the Gaza Strip. The country's governing Ennahda Party praised the "heroic Palestinian people" and condemned the "Zionist savage crimes" committed in Gaza. Much the same in Yemen and Libya, where protestors criticized Israel's airstrikes on underground Hamas rocket launching sites. In Cairo, hundreds of Egyptians protested against Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip as Egypt's president Mohammed Morsi vowed to support the enclave's people in the face of "blatant aggression". US President Barack Obama has called Morsi to urge him help ease tension between Israel and the Palestinians as Israel's Operation Pillar of Defense continues and so do the rockets, fired from the Gaza Strip into Israel.

OPERATION PILLAR OF DEFENSE: Israelis defiant in face of Gaza rocket attacks
Wailing air raid sirens have become a common occurrence across Israel over the past week and it might be surprising to see some Israelis looking as if they've heard it all before. The IDF has reported that over that past 12 years, some 12000 rockets have been fired from the Palestinian enclave at the Jewish State. That's about a thousand rockets every year, or approximately 3 rockets each day. Over 500 rockets have fallen on the Jewish state since Israel began Operation Pillar of Defense last Wednesday in an last-resort effort to stop ongoing rocket attacks from militants in the Gaza Strip. Pillar of Defense started when Israel targeted and killed the head of Hamas's military wing Ahmed Abu Jabari. It was a response to unrelenting and indiscriminate rocket fire from the Gaza Strip on Israel's south. Gaza militants immediately responded with a barrage of rockets sending Israelis scrambling for bomb shelters and closing schools across the region. Many rockets have hit residential homes, demolished cars parked on the side of roads and one rocket hit a four-storey apartment building in the town of Kiryat Malachi, killing three civilians, all married with children. For more than a decade, Gaza militants have been firing rockets into Israel's south. Short range Kassam and Grad style rockets with little more than a range of 50 km have caused about 1 million Israelis tolive with the daily possibility of a rocket attack. In the past few days, Gaza militants have revealed that they ...

جرائم الكيان الصهيوني one of the war crimes of the Jewish state
Israel commits daily crimes against humanity. Intermittently, crimes or war are committed. For decades, Palestinians have been ruthlessly persecuted and denied justice. Dozens of incidents occur daily. Media scoundrels suppress or ignore them Hundreds of Palestinians had fled their homes for the refuge of the al-Fakhoura school, hoping the blue and white flag of the UN flying over the impromptu shelter would protect them from the Israeli onslaught. The UN had even given the Israeli army the co-ordinates for the building to spare it from the shells and air strikes raining down on the Gaza strip. But tank shells exploded outside the school, sending shrapnel into the crowds, killing at least 42 and wounding another 55.

Sarkozy: it is silly to ask Palestinians to recognize Jewish state
French President Nicolas Sarkozy made headlines when he lambasted Israel for demanding the Palestinians recognize the Jewish state. The French magazine Le Canard Enchaine quoted Sarkozy saying it is silly to talk about a Jewish state saying it would be likes saying the table is Catholic and there are two million Arabs in Israel. The French President said the United States has demanded President Mahmoud Abbas to return to the negotiating table which he is willing to do because he is a statesman. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on the other hand never fails to disappoint he said. The magazine quoted Sarkozy saying he fully supports the establishment of a Palestinian state saying they have been waiting for over 60 years.

Mayor Ed Koch Endorses the President for Four More Years
Share this: OFA.BO Tweet this: OFA.BO Today, Obama for America released a new video endorsement from former New York City Mayor Ed Koch. Mayor Koch is proud to cast his vote for Barack Obama because of the President's unbreakable support for Israel and because he has, time and time again, proven himself to be a true friend of the Jewish state. As Mayor Koch says, "I'm confident President Obama will continue his unambiguous commitment to the Jewish state in his second term, building on his record of leadership by preventing Iran from developing a nuclear weapon and funding the Iron Dome missile defense system that is saving Israeli lives." Mayor Koch is also standing with the President because he is the "clear, best choice on domestic policy" and has the right ideas for moving our country forward. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan want to take us back to the failed policies that led to the worst financial crisis in a generation, and they would shred the social safety net, turning Medicare into a voucher program and cutting Medicaid. And the Mayor knows that President Obama understands we have a responsibility to look out for one another in tough times -- and that he will keep fighting for the American people every day for the next four years. As Mayor Koch says, "Those aren't just American values, they're Jewish values too."

Gaza Massacre: Israel Delegitimizes itself (again)
Without exception, segregation, isolation, and self entitlement leads to genocide, murder, racism and war. There is no difference in Nazis and Zionists, and there's no excuse for this level of brutality Nazis were a ethno-religious state where the extreme right-wing literally believes they're "chosen by God himself" to succeed after great struggle. The Nazi's were also against a semitic group of people, and in fact coined the term "antisemite". The central pillar of both Nazi and Israeli society is the military. Both the Aryan and the Jewish state, also were notorious for land grabs from their neighbors, resulting in brutal occupations which left the native people's powerless against their military power The only difference between a Zionist and Nazi, is which semite they choose to hate, scapegoat, and lead genocidal thought/actions against chosen semites If you agree there should be a Jewish state, than who are you to oppose an antisemitic Aryan state? I for one think both are horrible ideas, where do you fit in? Are you consistent in your beliefs? Selective whenever it appeals to your emotion rather than reality? Or are you just a plain old hypocrite? The resistance in Palestine, doesn't only have a right to defend themselves, they have an obligation. The only thing this point in history can be compared to for them, is the Jerusalem and Warsaw uprisings. The time for a 3rd intifada is now Every single death of not only Palestinians, but also Israelis, solely is to blame ...

Toledo, Spain
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Founded 7th century
Toledo (Latin: Toletum) is a municipality located in central Spain, 70 km south of Madrid. It is the capital of the province of Toledo and of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 for its extensive cultural and monumental heritage as one of the former capitals of the Spanish Empire and place of coexistence of Christian, Jewish and Moorish cultures. Many famous people and artists were born or lived in Toledo, including Al-Zarqali, Garcilaso de la Vega, Alfonso X and El Greco. It was also the place of important historic events such as the Visigothic Councils of Toledo. As of 2007, the city has a population of 78,618 and an area of 232.1 km² (89.59 square miles).
Toledo once served as the capital city of Visigothic Spain, beginning with Liuvigild (Leovigild), and was the capital until the Moors conquered Iberia in the 8th century. Under the Caliphate of Cordoba, Toledo enjoyed a golden age. This extensive period is known as La Convivencia, i.e. the co-existence of Jews, Christians, and Muslims. Under Arab rule, Toledo was called Tulaytulah (Arabic طليطلة, academically transliterated Ṭulayṭulah).
On May 25, 1085 Alfonso VI of Castile took Toledo and established direct personal control over the Moorish city from which he had been exacting tribute, and ending the mediaeval Taifa's Kingdom of Toledo . This was the first concrete step taken by the combined kingdom of Leon-Castile in the Reconquista by Christian forces.
Toledo was famed for its production of iron and especially of swords and the city is still a center for the manufacture of knives and other steel implements. When Philip II moved the royal court from Toledo to Madrid in 1561, the old city went into a slow decline from which it never recovered.
Toledo's Alcázar became renowned in the 19th and 20th centuries as a military academy. At the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War in 1936 its garrison was famously besieged by Republican forces.
Arts and culture
Toledo reached its zenith in the era of Islamic Caliphate. Historian P. de Gayangos writes:
The Muslim scientists of this age were not rivaled in the world. Perhaps among their greatest feats were the famous waterlocks of Toledo.[1]
The old city is located on a mountaintop with a 150 degrees view, surrounded on three sides by a bend in the Tagus River, and contains many historical sites, including the Alcázar, the cathedral (the primate church of Spain), and the Zocodover, a central market place.
From the 4th century to the 16th century about thirty synods were held at Toledo. The earliest, directed against Priscillian, assembled in 400. At the synod of 589 the Visigothic King Reccared declared his conversion from Arianism; the synod of 633 decreed uniformity of liturgy throughout the Visigothic kingdom and took stringent measures against baptized Jews who had relapsed into their former faith. The council of 681 assured to the archbishop of Toledo the primacy of Spain.
As nearly one hundred early canons of Toledo found a place in the Decretum Gratiani, they exerted an important influence on the development of ecclesiastical law. The synod of 1565–1566 concerned itself with the execution of the decrees of the Council of Trent; and the last council held at Toledo, 1582–1583, was guided in detail by Philip II.
Toledo was famed for religious tolerance and had large communities of Muslims and Jews until they were expelled from Spain in 1492 (Jews) and 1502 (Muslims). Today's city contains the religious monuments the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, the Synagogue of El Transito, Mosque of Cristo de la Luz and the church of San Sebastián dating from before the expulsion, still maintained in good condition. Among Ladino-speaking Sephardi Jews, in their various diasporas, the family name Toledano is still prevalent - indicating an ancestry traced back to this city (the name is also attested among non-Jews in various Spanish-speaking countries).
In the 13th century, Toledo was a major cultural center under the guidance of Alfonso X, called "El Sabio" ("the Wise") for his love of learning. The program of translations, begun under Archbishop Raymond of Toledo, continued to bring vast stores of knowledge to Europe by rendering great academic and philosophical works in Arabic into Latin. The Palacio de Galiana, built in the Mudéjar style, is one of the monuments that remain from that period.
The Cathedral of Toledo (Catedral de Toledo) was built between 1226-1493 and modeled after the Bourges Cathedral, though it

Richard Dawkins' Age of Reason - Faith School Menace ? (documentary)
The number of faith schools in Britain is rising. Around 7,000 publicly-funded schools - one in three - now has a religious affiliation.
As the coalition government paves the way for more faith-based education by promoting 'free schools', the renowned atheist and evolutionary biologist Professor Richard Dawkins says enough is enough.
In this passionately argued film, Dawkins calls on us to reconsider the consequences of faith education, which, he argues, bamboozles parents and indoctrinates and divides children.
The film features robust exchanges with former Secretary of State for Education Charles Clarke, Head of the Church of England Education Service Reverend Janina Ainsworth, and the Chair of the Association of Muslim Schools, Dr Mohammed Mukadam.
It also features insights from child psychologists and key players in faith education as well as insights from both parents and pupils.
Dawkins also draws on his own personal history as a father, arguing that the government must stop funding new faith schools, and urges society to respect a child's right to freedom of belief.

Joshua God Wars Pt 11: The Battle is the Lord's
Follow me to glimpse a scene where we find a teenager too young to enlist in the Army. He is bringing a care package for his brothers when he witnesses a disturbing sight. The entire Army of mighty men is cowering in fright because of one enemy soldier. The taunting of one enemy soldier has brought the Army of God to their knees in fear. Then this young boy gets riled up and wants to fight this enemy soldier. He goes out to face him, and the enemy soldier known as Goliath makes fun of the young boy. “Am I a dog that come at me with sticks”
This young boy called David makes an amazing statement that we would be well to understand:
1 Samuel 17:46-47 (NKJV) This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord's, and He will give you into our hands."
The Battle Belongs to the Lord! The Battle Belongs to the Lord. Petra sings a song:
In heavenly armour we'll enter the land
The battle belongs to the Lord
No weapon that's fashioned against us shall stand
The battle belongs to the Lord
We sing glory and honor
Power and strength to the Lord
(repeat)
The power of darkness comes in like a flood
The battle belongs to the Lord
He's raised up a standard, the power of His blood
The battle belongs to the Lord
When your enemy presses in hard do not fear
The battle belongs to the Lord
Take courage my friend, your redemption is near
The battle belongs to the Lord
Let’s Pray
As we celebrate Independence Day, our Journey through Joshua brings us to Joshua 10, providing us a glimpse at the longest day in the history of this world. At the end of that hard day of fighting we can imagine Joshua and his men breaking out in this song:
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord:
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword:
His truth is marching on.
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
His truth is marching on.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never call retreat;
He is sifting out the hearts of men before His judgment-seat:
Oh, be swift, my soul, to answer Him! be jubilant, my feet!
Our God is marching on.
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Glory, glory, hallelujah!
Our God is marching on.
Joshua 10 reveals the truth that we had better learn to grasp in our life, the truth that David learned even in his youth, a truth that America used to embrace:
THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S.
We can say God is Loving and merciful and forgiving, but unless we realize that God is EL GIBBOR God the Mighty Warrior, we will never truly understand the nature of God.
We first see God called El Gibbor in Deuteronomy 10:17. Moses in Deuteronomy 9 & 10 is preparing His people for their crossing into the promised land. He is reminding them of all God has done over the past 40 years. The way He miraculously delivered them from Egypt and how he sustained them in the desert wilderness. He recounts how God gave him the 10 commandments, not once, but twice. He reminds them of His covenant with them and how they must submit and not be stiff-necked. For the Lord our God is God of Gods and Lord of Lords, MIGHTY (Gibbor) and Awesome. (deut 10:17)
When Israel started to stray from the Lord after they had entered the promised land, Judges 2:15 reveals “Every time Israel went out to battle, the Lord fought against them, causing them to be defeated, just as he had warned. And the people were in great distress.”
If America does not return to our Confession and belief in “One Nation Under God” we run the risk of finding ourselves fighting against God and suffering defeat in our battles, causing great distress here at home.
THE BATTLE IS THE LORD’S AND GOD IS ALWAYS ON THE WINNING SIDE. GOD IS THE WINNING SIDE.
When we get in step with El Gibbor, we will find that He is the Mighty Warrior, and no foe, no problem, no obstacle is too great for Him to defeat.
MOSES Declared to the Hebrews “...Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.” [Exod 14:13,14]
MOSES told Joshua: “When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle...let not your heart

Gaza rocket attacks: Israeli south under fire
Israel rockets from Gaza leaders' responses Last weekend saw the most intense cycle of violence along the Israeli-Gaza border in nearly 4 years with Palestinian militants firing more than 70 rockets into the Jewish state. Israeli leaders have said they will not tolerate the increasing stream of attacks emanating from the Gaza Strip with Benjamin Netanyahu threatening to escalate the country's response if the rocket fire did not stop while Defense Minister Ehud Barak commented "If we are forced to go back into Gaza in order to hit Hamas and restore calm, we will not hesitate to do so." The mayor of Beersheba, a southern Israeli city targeted by Gaza based militants called on the government to put an end to the "war of attrition" between Israel and Palestinian terrorist groups while Israeli Ambassador the UN Ron Prosor slammed the UN's failure to comment on rocket attacks from Gaza. The violence has caused normal daily life in Israel to grind to a halt with many businesses being forced to close and children being unable to attend school. Perhaps sensitive to the lack of sympathy to Israelis' current struggles in the international news media US ambassador Daniel Shapiro sent best wishes directly to Israelis on Facebook and reaffirmed the United States' support for Israel's right to defend itself.

OPERATION PILLAR OF DEFENSE: IDF reservists 'ready for Gaza ground operation'
Large numbers of Israeli troops have been massing along the border with the Gaza Strip, as the conflict between Hamas and the Jewish State continues, and Israel's Operation Pillar of Defense runs into its 4th day. Israeli Defense Forces increased the call-up of reserve troops to 75000 in order to bolster units preparing for a potential ground invasion of the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave. The deployment of reservists came as Israeli government ministers said that if rocket fire from Gaza militants continued, a land invasion could happen before the end of the weekend. With the area around the Gaza Strip now a closed zone, and all roads sealed off to non-military traffic, Israeli reservists and serving soldiers will be watching the sky closely for signs as to whether or not their call to duty will see them sent into battle on the ground. The last ground invasion of Gaza by Israeli troops was in January 2009.
