Bahrain (
pronunciation) (Arabic: البحرين, al-Baḥrayn) (Persian: بحرين, Baḥrain), officially the Kingdom of Bahrain (Arabic: مملكة البحرين, Mamlakat al-Baḥrayn), is a small island state near the western shores of the Persian Gulf. It is ruled by the Al Khalifa royal family. The population in 2010 stood at 1,234,571, including 666,172 non-nationals. Formerly an emirate, Bahrain was declared a kingdom in 2002.
Bahrain is an archipelago of 33 islands, the largest being Bahrain Island, at 55 km (34 mi) long by 18 km (11 mi) wide. Saudi Arabia lies to the west and is connected to Bahrain by the King Fahd Causeway. The peninsula of Qatar is to the southeast across the Gulf of Bahrain. The planned Qatar Bahrain Causeway will link Bahrain and Qatar and become the world's longest marine causeway.
Known for its oil and pearls, Bahrain is also home to many large structures, including the Bahrain World Trade Center and the Bahrain Financial Harbour, with a proposal in place to build the 1,022 m (3,353 ft) high Murjan Tower. The Qal'at al-Bahrain (the harbour and capital of the ancient land of Dilmun) was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. The Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix takes place at the Bahrain International Circuit.

The name Bangladesh means "Land of Bengal" or "Country of Bengal" the in the Bengali language, from Bangla "Bengal" and desh holding a dual meaning of "land" and "country" as English "country," German land, French pays, etc.
The borders of present-day Bangladesh were established with the partition of Bengal during the reign and demise of the British India. Its map was chartered by Sir Cyril Radcliffe during the creation of Pakistan and India in 1947, when the region became East Pakistan, part of the newly formed nation of Pakistan. Due to political exclusion and economic exploitation by the politically dominant West Pakistan, popular agitation grew against West Pakistan and led to the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971, after the Bangladeshi Declaration of Independence on 26 March 1971. With the intervention of the Indian Army, the war came to an end on 16 December 1971 with the surrender of the Pakistan Army at Ramna Race Course.

Gary, Indiana
Gary is a city in Lake County, Indiana, United States. The city is in the southeastern portion of the Chicago metropolitan area and is 25 miles from downtown Chicago. The population is 80,294 at the 2010 census, making it the seventh-largest city in the state. It borders Lake Michigan and is known for its large steel mills and as the birthplace of the Jacksons singing family. Gary is adjacent to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.
The city was founded in 1906 by the United States Steel Corporation as the home for its new plant. The city was named after the lawyer and founding chairman of U.S. Steel, Elbert Henry Gary.
Gary's fortunes have risen and fallen with those of the steel industry. The growth of the steel industry brought prosperity to the community. Broadway Avenue was known as a commercial center for the region. Department stores and architecturally significant movie houses were built in the downtown area and the Glen Park neighborhood.
In the 1960s, like many other American urban centers reliant on one particular industry, Gary entered a spiral of decline. Gary's decline was brought on by the growing overseas competitiveness in the steel industry, which had caused U.S. Steel to lay off many workers from the Gary area. As the city declined, crime increased.

3T is an American R&B / Pop music group featuring the three sons of Tito Jackson (from The Jackson 5) and Delores "Dee Dee" Jackson. The band members include, from eldest, Toriano Adaryll Jackson II (also known as Taj), Taryll Adren Jackson and Tito Joe Jackson (also known as TJ).
3T released their debut album Brotherhood in 1995. The album sold approximately three million copies worldwide. The group achieved an international hit with their debut single "Anything". 3T's released several hit singles in Europe, including "24/7", "Why" (a duet with their uncle, Michael Jackson), "I Need You" (with a brief appearance by Michael), "Tease Me" and "Gotta Be You." In 1996, they were ranked second, behind the Spice Girls, as the biggest-selling group in Europe. 3T have also written and produced songs for soundtracks to films as The Jacksons: An American Dream, Free Willy and Free Willy 2, Men in Black, and Trippin', and Taryll has written/produced tracks for his aunt Janet Jackson as well as Lindsay Lohan. In early 1997 they went on a hugely successful European tour with their album Brotherhood, which included all of the songs from the album, as well as a Jackson 5 tribute (featuring Tito 'Poppa T') and a surprise performance of the Oasis hit, Wonderwall.

Alex Reid (fighter)
Alexander Aristides Reid (born 21 July 1975) is an English mixed martial artist, kickboxer and actor who used the nickname The Reidernator. Reid has fought for Cage Rage, BAMMA and UCMMA. Throughout his MMA career he has fought some of the most well known fighters, especially from the earlier days of the UFC, such as former welterweight champion Dave Menne and UFC 14 middleweight finalist Tony Fryklund, he has also faced Murilo 'Ninja' Rua, Tom Watson, Xavier Foupa-Pokam, Mark Weir and Jorge Rivera.
He became a celebrity in Britain when he began to date the glamour model Katie Price. He won Celebrity Big Brother in January 2010. Reid and Price married in February 2010 and separated in January 2011. In 2012 Reid is set to star in a new reality TV programme entitled 'Tribe'. Reid will join the Ekari people prior to the show. It is rumoured that comic Mark Watson and model Jodie Marsh will also be on the show.
Reid was born in Aldershot, Hampshire. His parents are Bob and Carol; he has five siblings. Alex is Scottish on his father's side of the family, hence his common Scottish surname of Reid.

Anne Diamond
Anne Margaret Diamond (born 8 September 1954) is an English radio and television presenter and journalist. She hosted Good Morning Britain for TV-am and the similarly titled Good Morning... with Anne and Nick for BBC1, both with Nick Owen as her co-presenter. Currently Anne presents a phone-in show on BBC Radio Berkshire on weekday mornings from 10am to 1pm and makes regular appearances airing her views as a panelist on The Wright Stuff on Channel 5 and BBC London, and is a regular columnist for the Daily Mail. She is most well known for her successful campaigning for research into cot death following the death of her third son Sebastian. A campaign which she co-founded in 1991 was reported to have cut the incidents of cot death in the UK from 2,000 a year to close on 300.
Diamond's parents were of Irish ancestry, although her father was raised in Scotland. She was born and grew up in Malvern, Worcestershire, and she attended Worcester Grammar School for Girls. She is the cousin of Scots singer-songwriter Jim Diamond.

Anthea Turner
Anthea Millicent Turner (born 25 May 1960) is an English television presenter and media personality.
Turner was born in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and educated there at the independent St. Dominic's High School (since demolished) in Hartshill.
Turner joined BBC Radio Stoke as a runner, eventually joining breakfast show presenter Bruno Brookes as part of his crew. The couple became romantically involved and employed Peter Powell as an agent through his management company.
Turner moved into television through Sky Channel presenting live music programmes from July 1986 to 1989. Her debut on national television was with the BBC on But First This, which led to her fronting two series for the BBC on the Saturday morning show Up2U.
The short-lived Saturday morning children's show UP2U was a flop, and is chiefly remembered for a motorcycle stunt that went wrong. Turner suffered burns and temporary hearing loss, which led to her successful lawsuit against the BBC.
She was the only non-Radio One DJ to regularly present Top of the Pops, remaining with the programme for three years.

Basshunter
Jonas Erik Altberg (born 22 December 1984 in Halmstad, Sweden), better known by his stage name Basshunter, is a Swedish singer-songwriter, record producer, and DJ. He is best known for his number one hits "Boten Anna", "Dota", "Now You're Gone" and "All I Ever Wanted". Basshunter has so far released a total of six albums, two of which have been released in the UK. His UK single, "Saturday", was released in July 2010, and he also competed in hit reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother in January 2010. His song "Sverige" was also used as Sjölunden's International Day song in 2008. Basshunter is working on a fourth studio album to be released this year.
Jonas Altberg was born in Halmstad and lived with his parents and younger brother near Tylösand. He began producing music under the stage name "Basshunter" in 2002, using Fruity Loops, and released his first albums, The Old Shit (1999) and The Bassmachine (2004), through his own web site. After that he started working as a DJ. In April 2006, he signed with Warner Music, releasing his first single, "Boten Anna". In 2007, he released a re-recording entitled "Now You're Gone," featuring entirely re-written lyrics to appeal to a foreign market. The song charted at number one on the UK Singles Chart and stayed there for five weeks.

Adams attended Westminster Under School, where he became head chorister of the school choir, . He later attended Bedales School, leaving aged 16 after completing his GCSEs.
Adams was a member of four-piece boyband A1, who won a BRIT Award in 2001 for Best Newcomer and had two number one singles, "Take On Me" and "Same Old Brand New You", before separating. Whilst in the boyband, Adams also scooped a Smash Hits Poll Winners Party Award for Most Fanciable Male in 2001.
It was announced in 2009 that A1 were to reform to compete to represent Norway in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.
Adams was a member of boy band A1. The band was around from 1998 to 2002. Since then he decided to become a solo star and released his album Sorry. He has worked with Har Mar Superstar and Alexandra Burke. He also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother 2009, and became friends with Michelle Heaton. He has been romantically involved with Miss Norway 2009 Sara Skjoldnes, meeting her right before she took part in the Miss World Pageant.

Berry Gordy, Jr. (born in Detroit, Michigan) was the seventh of eight children (Fuller, Esther, Anna, Loucye, George, Gwen, Berry and Robert), born to the middle-class family of Berry Gordy II (a.k.a. Berry Gordy, Sr.) and Bertha Fuller Gordy (1899–1975), who had relocated to Detroit from Milledgeville, Georgia, in 1922. Gordy was brought up in a tight-knit family with strong morals.[citation needed] Berry Gordy II (1888–1978) was the son of Berry Gordy I and a woman named Lucy Hellum. Berry Gordy I was the son of James Thomas Gordy, a white plantation owner in Georgia, and his female slave Esther Johnson. Berry Gordy, Jr. is distantly related to former president Jimmy Carter through Carter's mother, Bessie Lillian Gordy.
Berry Gordy II was lured to Detroit by the many job opportunities for black people offered by booming automotive businesses.

Bez (dancer)
Mark Berry (born 18 April 1964 in Salford, England), commonly known as Bez (and occasionally credited as Bez "Bez" Bez), is a British dancer, percussionist, author and media personality. He is best known as a member of Happy Mondays and Black Grape.
He is the son of a police Detective Inspector. He was a maraca player, dancer and the mascot of Salford band Happy Mondays, having been invited in by lead singer Shaun Ryder shortly after the band was formed. He is chiefly remembered for his bizarre style of dancing, and use of the maracas. The band's second single was called "Freaky Dancin'", and is rumored to be a tribute to Bez, although, Happy Mondays vocalist Shaun William Ryder claims that this is not the case in his autobiography "Twistin' My Melon".
After the Happy Mondays broke up, Bez became a member of Black Grape, a group founded by Mondays band-mate Shaun Ryder, but he left in 1997 over artistic differences. In 1997, he had a feature on the BBC Two television programme The Sunday Show called Science with Bez. When both faced large tax bills, he and Ryder reconciled and reformed the Happy Mondays in 1998, but the reformed band was short-lived.

Bobby DeBarge
Robert Louis "Bobby" DeBarge, Jr. (March 5, 1956–August 16, 1995) was an American musician and the lead singer of the popular 1970s Motown R&B group Switch and was noted for his impressive falsetto vocals. Later on, he served as both mentor and a co-producer of his siblings band, DeBarge, later joining them to fill in for departing members El and Bunny. A five-year conviction on drug trafficking charges derailed his career for several years.
Robert Louis DeBarge, Jr. was born in Detroit to Etterlene (neé Abney) and Robert DeBarge, Sr. Growing up in Detroit, DeBarge had an unhappy childhood that was triggered by physical abuse from his father. At 15, DeBarge was introduced to heroin, which would become his lifelong addiction. After his parents separated in the early 1970s, Bobby DeBarge and his family relocated to Grand Rapids, where DeBarge, a talented instrumentalist and vocalist, began playing in local bands along with his younger brother Tommy.
In 1975, after teaming up with fellow Grand Rapids musician Gregory Williams, the duo began a group with several other Midwestern musicians and auditioned for, and got, with Barry White's background group, White Heat, helping to produce and release their debut album that year. The following year, White dropped all but one musician from the band due to tax issues. The group - which consisted of DeBarge, Williams, Jody Sims, Phillip Ingram and Eddie Fluellen - then recorded an album in 1977 under Pall Mall Groove, in 1977.

Brigitte Nielsen (born 15 July 1963) is a Danish model, actress, musician and reality television personality who began her career modelling for Greg Gorman and Helmut Newton and several years later acted in the 1985 films Red Sonja and Rocky IV. Carole Malone
Carole Anne Malone (born 14 October 1954 in Newcastle) is an English journalist, commentator on current affairs and occasional broadcaster.
Malone started life as a journalist before moving into television. She hosted her own light hearted court show, Guilty!, on Sky One from 1997 to 1999.
In 2005 Carole was a guest panellist on Loose Women, later returned as a guest anchor covering Jackie Brambles' maternity in 2007.
Between 2006 and 2010 Carole was a regular panellist on The Wright Stuff.

He became the most famous film star in the world before the end of World War I. Chaplin used mime, slapstick and other visual comedy routines, and continued well into the era of the talkies, though his films decreased in frequency from the end of the 1920s. His most famous role was that of The Tramp, which he first played in the Keystone comedy Kid Auto Races at Venice in 1914. From the April 1914 one-reeler Twenty Minutes of Love onwards he was writing and directing most of his films, by 1916 he was also producing them, and from 1918 he was even composing the music for them. With Mary Pickford, Douglas Fairbanks and D. W. Griffith, he co-founded United Artists in 1919.
Chaplin was one of the most creative and influential personalities of the silent-film era. He was influenced by his predecessor, the French silent film comedian Max Linder, to whom he dedicated one of his films. His working life in entertainment spanned over 75 years, from the Victorian stage and the music hall in the United Kingdom as a child performer, until close to his death at the age of 88. His high-profile public and private life encompassed both adulation and controversy. Christopher Livingstone Eubanks, is one of the sons of Rachel Scollins (later opting to delete the 's' from his surname) was born on 8 August 1966, in Dulwich, South London and spent his early days in Jamaica (from two months old to six years old). On his return to England, he lived in Stoke Newington, Dalston, Hackney and then Peckham; largely impoverished.
He attended Bellingden Junior School, and then Thomas Carlton Secondary School, from where he was suspended eighteen times in one year and then expelled, despite claiming he was gallantly trying to protect other children from bullies. He then attended Peckham Manor School, from where he was suspended five times in four weeks and then expelled. He was then put into care and spent time in various institutions under the care of Social Services. Some time was spent at Orchard Lodge Regional Resource Centre, Anerley in 1981. When he was 16, his father sent him to New York in the U.S. to live with his mother in the tough South Bronx district.

Claire Jane Sweeney (born 17 April 1971) is an English actress, singer and television personality, best known for playing the role of Lindsey Corkhill in the Channel 4 soap opera Brookside and her appearance on the first series of the reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother.
Born in Walton, Liverpool, she is the daughter of a butcher who had a shop in Toxteth. She trained at the Elliott-Clarke Theatre School in Liverpool, and worked on the weekends in her fathers shop.
Her first singing gig, at the age of 14, was in the Montrose Club in Liverpool. She was then educated fulltime at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. In 1987, she was a member of the Southport Summer Youth Theatre Workshop's production of the musical Hair. Following this production, she auditioned for a part in the Southport Arts Centre's Centre Stage Company production of Chicago but was turned down because she was considered too young; she later went on to star in a West End version of the same show.
After leaving stage school, Sweeney had many singing engagements before landing the role of Lindsey Corkhill in Brookside in 1991. She entertained cruise ships for P&O as a singer for four years before returning to England. On her return, Sweeney reprised her role of Lindsey and remained on the show as a leading character until its demise in 2003.

She was most frequently seen in Everett's BBC series The Kenny Everett Television Show, in which her glamorous and curvaceous figure was often used to comic effect as a focus for drooling, lascivious men - a role echoed by her similar appearances in the 1985 TV sketch series Assaulted Nuts. She also appeared alongside Everett in BBC1 science quiz series Brainstorm, playing a white-coated lab assistant.

Dennis Keith Rodman (born May 13, 1961) is a retired American Hall of Fame professional basketball player of the National Basketball Association's (NBA) Detroit Pistons, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks. He also led the NBA in rebounds per game for a record seven consecutive years and won five NBA championships (1989, 1990, 1996, 1997, 1998). His biography at NBA.com states that he is "arguably the best rebounding forward in NBA history". On April 1, 2011, the Pistons retired Rodman's #10 jersey. Later that same year, Rodman was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.
Rodman experienced an unhappy childhood and was shy and introverted in his early years. After aborting a suicide attempt in 1993, he reinvented himself as a "bad boy" and became notorious for numerous controversial antics. Dirk Benedict (born March 1, 1945) is an American movie, television and stage actor, perhaps best known for playing the characters Lieutenant Templeton "Faceman" Peck in The A-Team television series and Lieutenant Starbuck in the original Battlestar Galactica film and television series.
Benedict was born Dirk Niewoehner in Helena, Montana, the son of Pricilla Mella (née Metzger), an accountant, and George Edward Niewoehner, a lawyer. He grew up in White Sulphur Springs, Montana. He graduated from Whitman College in 1967.
Benedict's film debut was in the 1972 film Georgia, Georgia. When the New York run for Butterflies Are Free ended, he received an offer to repeat his performance in Hawaii, opposite Barbara Rush. While there, he appeared as a guest lead on Hawaii Five-O. The producers of a horror film called Ssssss saw Benedict's performance in Hawaii Five-O and promptly cast him as the lead in that movie. He next played the psychotic wife-beating husband of Twiggy in her American film debut, W. Benedict starred in the television series Chopper One which aired for one season in 1974. He also made an appearance in Charlie's Angels.

Donny Tourette (born Patrick Brannon on 4 March 1981) is an English singer-songwriter best known for his work with the punk rock band Towers of London. He first became famous after appearing in the 2007 edition of Celebrity Big Brother.
Tourette was the eighth Celebrity Big Brother 2007 contestant to enter the UK Big Brother House on 3 January 2007. He swore at the crowd and made rude gestures, some crowd members chanted 'Who are ya?'. The host, Davina McCall, said that he "smelled like a brewery".
On his first night in the house, Tourette jumped into the Jacuzzi fully clothed. Later on, Jo O'Meara of S Club 7 pop fame, grabbed the double bed in the bedrooms, stated "I'm not sharing with Donny. I'd rather sleep on the floor. I can't sleep with a guy like that".Leo Sayer offered to swap with O'Meara, but after a while entered the diary room, saying "Donny's all right, but seeing him sprawled stark naked is not appealing". In the end Tourette had the bed to himself.
The house was later divided into "servant" and "master" quarters with Tourette as part of the servant section. Tourette scaled the garden wall to freedom after fewer than 48 hours in the house, stating "I'm not waiting hand on foot, on some fucking moron and her family", in reference to Jade Goody and her mother, as his reason for scaling the wall.

Faria Alam was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh to a moderate and educated Muslim family. Her father was a Pakistani bank employee and her mother Bangladeshi. She has two brothers and one sister.

George Galloway
George Galloway (born 16 August 1954) is a British politician, author, journalist, and broadcaster, and the Respect Member of Parliament (MP) for Bradford West. In the late-1980s Hansard records him delivering a ferocious assault on the Ba'ath regime, and Galloway opposed Saddam's regime until the United States-led Gulf War in 1991. Galloway is known for a visit to Iraq where he met Saddam Hussein, and delivered a speech, which ended in English with the statement "Sir, I salute your courage, your strength, your indefatigability." He has always stated that he was addressing the Iraqi people in the speech. Galloway testified to the United States Senate in 2005 over alleged illicit payments from the United Nations' Oil for Food Programme.

Clifford Joseph Price, better known as Goldie (born 19 September 1965) is an English electronic music artist, disc jockey, visual artist and actor. He is well known for his innovations in the jungle and drum and bass music genres, having previously gained exposure for his work as a graffiti artist. He later joined a breakdance crew called the Bboys, and made his name as a graffiti artist in the West Midlands.
His artwork around Birmingham and Wolverhampton was featured heavily in Afrika Bambaataa's documentary Bombing. He took part in the largest ever British graffiti art battle alongside Bristol artist Robert "3D" Del Naja, who later formed Massive Attack. Ian "H" Watkins (born 8 May 1976) is a Welsh singer and actor. He is one of the five members of the British pop group Steps. He has said that "H" stands for "hyperactive", describing his character.
Watkins first appeared on stage with Frank Vickery productions, he then spent his teenage years with Spotlight Theatre Company. Before joining Steps, he worked as a redcoat for Butlins holiday parks.
After Steps split in 2001, he formed a duo, H & Claire, with fellow ex-Steps member Claire Richards. They released three singles and an album, and then went their separate ways.
He then decided to take a musical theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music. Following his extra tuition in New York, Watkins performed at Preston's Charter theatre in the pantomime Cinderella as the character of Buttons. In Summer 2007 he performed in the West End version of Fame. During Christmas 2007 he reprised his role as Buttons in the pantomime Cinderella at the Grimsby Auditorium. In the early 1970s she earned a master's degree in physical education from Charles University of Prague. In 1975 she left Czechoslovakia for Canada to be with a childhood friend, George Syrovatka, who owned a ski boutique there. For the following two years she lived in Montreal and worked as a model for some of Canada's top fur companies. In 1976 she divorced Winklmayr, left Syrovatka and moved to New York to promote the Montreal Olympics. It was in New York that she met Donald J. He courted controversy over allegedly referring to fellow housemate Shilpa Shetty as a "cunt" and "Paki" and suggested that she should remove objects from the toilet with her teeth. Jackson was born the second child of Joseph and Katherine and the oldest male child. He was given the name "Jackie" by relatives and family. Although he wanted to become a professional baseball player, Jackson abandoned that path when his 4 younger brothers and he formed The Jackson 5 in 1964. Jackson and his two younger brothers Tito and Jermaine were part of an early incarnation of the group as The Jackson Brothers from 1964 to 1966.
Jackie's role in the Jackson 5 was as the high tenor singer opposite the lead vocals of Michael and Jermaine. During live performances, he stood beside Michael and Marlon, providing backing vocals and occasionally playing the tambourine. Jade Cerisa Lorraine Goody (5 June 1981 – 22 March 2009) was an English celebrity. She came into the public spotlight while appearing on the third series of the then Channel 4 reality TV programme Big Brother in 2002, an appearance which led to her own television programmes and the launch of her own products after her eviction from the show. In 2003, following her public appearance in Big Brother, Goody was voted by the public as the fourth worst Briton in the British TV station Channel 4's 100 Worst Britons as inspired by the BBC series 100 Greatest Britons.

In August 2008, she appeared on the Indian version of Big Brother, Bigg Boss, but withdrew early from the show and returned to the UK after being told she had cervical cancer. She married Jack Tweed on 22 February 2009 and died, one month later, in the early hours of 22 March 2009.Sky Living have aired four tribute shows to Goody from 2009 to 2011 documenting her early life to fame and her final months. James Jamerson
James Lee Jamerson (January 29, 1936 – August 2, 1983) was an American bass player. He was the uncredited bassist on most of Motown Records' hits in the 1960s and early 1970s (Motown did not list session musician credits on their releases until 1971), and he is now regarded as one of the most influential bass players in modern music history. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000.

There he became a member of a core of studio musicians who informally called themselves The Funk Brothers. This small, close-knit group of musicians performed on the vast majority of Motown recordings during most of the 1960s. Jamerson's earliest Motown sessions were performed on double bass, but in the early 1960s he switched to mostly playing electric bass - a Fender Precision.

John McCririck (born 17 April 1940) is an English television horse racing pundit. He is notable not only for his racing opinions but also for his old-fashioned style of dress and mannerisms. Keith Peter Thomas Francis John Duffy (born 1 October 1974) is an Irish singer-songwriter, actor and radio and television presenter. Leo Sayer (born Gerard Hugh Sayer, 21 May 1948) is a British singer-songwriter, musician, and entertainer whose singing career has spanned four decades. Mark Anthony Patrick Owen (born 27 January 1972), is an English singer-songwriter. He is a member of pop band Take That. The band were hugely successful during the 1990s and have enjoyed even more success since their reunion in 2005. As a solo artist, Mark Owen had sold over 400,000 records worldwide and 80 million with Take That.
Take That formed in 1990 and during his time with the group, Owen sang lead vocals on "Babe", which was released in December 1993 from the Everything Changes album. It reached number one in the UK, but was knocked off the top spot at Christmas by Mr Blobby. He also sang lead vocals on "The Day After Tomorrow" from the Nobody Else album, and that concludes Owen's vocal contributions to the band the first time around. Despite this, Owen was the most popular member of the group, on account of his boyish good looks and sweet demeanour, regularly earning awards such as Smash Hit's "Most Fanciable Male in the World" and "Best Haircut".
After Take That split, Owen became the second of the band's ex-members to release a solo record. He reached number three in the UK Singles Chart with his debut single, "Child". His second single, "Clementine", also went to number three. In 1997 his album Green Man was released, charting at a number 33. After another single, "I Am What I Am", charted at number 29, Owen was dropped by BMG Records in late 1997.

Marlon Jackson
Marlon David Jackson (born March 12, 1957) is an American entertainer singer, dancer, former member of The Jackson 5, and elder brother of American pop stars Michael Jackson and Janet Jackson.

Michael Kieron Parker (born 4 May 1952), known by the stage name Michael Barrymore, is a British comedian who appeared as a presenter of game shows and light entertainment programmes on British television in the 1980s and 1990s. Rosa Isabel Mutya Buena (born 21 May 1985) is an English recording artist who rose to fame as a member of girl group the Sugababes. With the Sugababes, Buena had four UK number one singles, an additional six top-ten hits and three multi-platinum albums. Their debut album, One Touch, was released in November 2000 and peaked at number twenty-six on the UK Albums Chart, eventually earning a gold certification.One Touch spawned four singles, three of which reached the top twenty, while the album's lead single "Overload" was nominated for a BRIT Award for "Best British Single". The album's sales did not meet the expectations of London Records and the group was subsequently dropped. The group's second album Angels with Dirty Faces was released in August 2002 through Island Records. Natalie Cassidy
Natalie Ann Cassidy (born 13 May 1983)[citation needed] is a British actress. She is best known for her role on EastEnders where she played Sonia Fowler for twelve years. Nicola McLean (born 16 September 1981) is an English glamour model and media personality. She finished in sixth place on the eighth series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me out of Here! and has been a housemate in ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother in the UK.

Bach-Hasselhoff was arrested again for DUI on November 28, 2009. The arrest came a day after Hasselhoff was hospitalized after he was found passed out at his home. Bach told TMZ she was trying to comfort the couple's daughters earlier in the evening and then went out for dinner where she had a few drinks.

Pete Burns (born 5 August 1959) is an English singer-songwriter, author and television personality, who founded the band Dead or Alive in 1980, in which he was vocalist and songwriter, and which rose to mainstream success with their 1985 single "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)". He later rose to further celebrity status in the British media following his appearance on Celebrity Big Brother 2006 and his own television show, Pete's PA in 2007.
Burns was born in Port Sunlight, Bebington, Wirral, to an English father and German mother. His mother Eva was Jewish and born in Heidelberg, Germany. She had fled to Vienna, Austria to escape the anti-Semitic laws of the Nazis. It was in Vienna that she met Burns' father, then a British soldier, at a soldiers' tea dance.
When talking about his late mother in an interview for television programme Psychic Therapy, he said "as far as parental skills go in the conventional, normal world, she certainly wasn't a mother, but she's the best human being that I've ever had the privilege of being in the company of, and I know that she had a special plan for me. She called me Star Baby and she knew that there was something special in me. Just an incredible German woman; tiny, five-foot-one, but she could move a fucking wardrobe, she could lift a wardrobe." Maureen Reillette "Rebbie" Brown (née Jackson; born May 29, 1950) is an American singer professionally known as Rebbie Jackson ( /ˈriːbi ˈdʒæksən/). Born and raised in Gary, Indiana, she is the eldest child of the Jackson family of musicians. She first performed on stage with her siblings during shows in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in 1974, before subsequently appearing in the television series The Jacksons.
At age 34, Jackson released her debut album Centipede (1984). The album featured songs written by Smokey Robinson, Prince and her younger brother Michael, whose contribution (the title track "Centipede") became Rebbie's most successful single release. Rockwell (musician)
Rockwell (born Kennedy William Gordy on March 15, 1964 in Detroit, Michigan) is an R&B performer who was signed to the Motown label.
Rockwell is the son of Motown founder and CEO Berry Gordy and Margaret Norton. His father named him Kennedy William Gordy after John F. Kennedy and William "Smokey" Robinson. To avoid seeming nepotistic, he secured his record deal without his father's knowledge. Motown actually came up with the name Rockwell and the young Gordy agreed to the change because he believed he "rocked well."
In 1984, Rockwell released his biggest hit single, "Somebody's Watching Me", featuring childhood friends Michael Jackson on guest vocals (notably in the chorus lyrics), and Jermaine Jackson singing back-up. "Somebody's Watching Me" became a Top 10 pop hit in both the US and UK, and a #1 R&B hit. Follow-up singles underperformed, however, with single "Obscene Phone Caller", being Rockwell's only other Top 40 single. This follow-up single reached #35 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rockwell soon ended his musical career with Motown.

Rula Lenska
Rula Lenska (born Rosa Marie Leopoldyna Lubienski, 30 September 1947) is an English actress. Best known for her work in the United Kingdom, she is remembered in the United States for a television advert that presented her as a celebrity, even though she was not widely known in the US at the time the advert was produced (see below). She is divorced from British actor Dennis Waterman.
She was born in St Neots, Cambridgeshire, England. Her father, Major Count Ludwik Maria Lubienski, had led Radio Free Europe in Poland and was the chief of the Polish military mission in Gibraltar during World War II. Her mother was the former Countess Elzbieta Tyszkiewicz. She has two sisters: Anna, an actress who appeared in a few films in the late 1950s and early 1960s, and Gabriela. Lenska was educated at the Ursuline College in Westgate-on-Sea.
Her big break was as Little Ladies' band member, "Q," in the British TV series Rock Follies (1976) and its sequel Rock Follies of '77 the following year. By this time, she had renounced her title as a Polish countess; she has said of the decision, "In England it doesn't count, if you'll excuse the pun."

Sally Bercow
Sally Bercow (née Illman; born 22 November 1969) is the wife of the Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow. She was a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother 2011 and was evicted from the house on 26 August 2011.
Sally Illman attended Marlborough College public school, as a contemporary of the British Prime Minister's wife, Samantha Cameron, and went on to attend Keble College, Oxford, dropping out after two years. The fact that Bercow did not finish her studies at Oxford became a minor controversy in 2009 when it was revealed that she had been sacked from a City public relations firm for trying to conceal this on her CV.
She was the social secretary of the Oxford University Conservative Association (OUCA) while at the University. Shilpa Shetty (born 8 June 1975) is an Indian film actress and model. Since making her debut in the film Baazigar (1993), she has appeared in nearly 40 Bollywood, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, her first leading role being in the 1994 film Aag. Sisqó
Mark Althavean Andrews (born November 9, 1978), known by his stage name Sisqó, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, dancer, record producer and actor. He is lead singer of R&B group Dru Hill, and has also released solo material, including his successful first solo album Unleash the Dragon which included the single "Thong Song". Sisqó also calls himself "The Dragon".
Andrews attended Mervo, graduating 1994. He has a daughter, Shaione, who was born in 1995.
After Woody Rock left Dru Hill in 1999 to pursue a solo career, it was decided that the other three members would do the same. Sisqó's solo debut, Unleash the Dragon, was released on Def Soul Records in November 1999. Unleash the Dragon sold moderately at first, until the February 2000 release of its second single, the novelty "Thong Song". A runaway hit, "Thong Song" and its follow-up, "Incomplete", were major hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with "Thong Song" making it to number three, and "Incomplete" going to #1. Sue Perkins
Susan Elizabeth Perkins (born 22 September 1969, East Dulwich, London) is an English comedian, broadcaster and conductor.
Perkins was educated at Croham Hurst School, an independent school for girls in Croydon in South London, at the same time as the BBC Breakfast News presenter Susanna Reid. She later studied English at New Hall at the University of Cambridge, graduating in 1990. While at Cambridge, she was a member of the Footlights, where she met Mel Giedroyc. She was Footlights president during the academic year 1990/91.
Perkins first came to notice with Mel Giedroyc as Mel and Sue. The duo were short-listed for the Daily Express Best Newcomers Award at the Edinburgh Festival in 1993. After a few years writing for French & Saunders (and occasionally appearing on their BBC series), they hosted a lunchtime show on Channel 4 called Light Lunch, and an early evening version, Late Lunch.
Perkins has been a presenter on Channel 4's RI:SE and appeared in Celebrity Big Brother during 2002 in aid of a number of charities. During the series she had some notable dancing moments with eventual winner Mark Owen of Take That. She has made numerous appearances on BBC TV shows Have I Got News for You, Mock the Week, QI, Room 101, Celebrity Weakest Link, Question Time and Newsnight; she has often joked that the BBC pay her a regular wage for "blabbering on random shows". Switch (band)
Switch was an R&B/funk band that found fame recording for the Gordy label in the late 1970s, releasing hit songs such as "There'll Never Be", "I Call Your Name" and "The Best Beat in Town". Switch influenced bands such as DeBarge, which featured the siblings of Switch band members Bobby and Tommy DeBarge.
The group, formed in Mansfield, Ohio in 1974 under the name First Class, featured brothers Tommy and Bobby DeBarge and Greg Williams from Grand Rapids, Michigan, along with Akron, Ohio natives Phillip Ingram (brother of James Ingram), Eddie Fluellen and Jody Sims. They joined Barry White's group, White Heat, as background musicians and were let go shortly thereafter when White Heat experienced financial troubles.
Eventually changing their name to Switch due to their ability to switch to different instruments during a song, the group got the attention of Jermaine Jackson, former member of The Jackson 5 and husband of Hazel Gordy (daughter of Motown Chief Berry Gordy, Jr.), who heard the group's demo tape. Within days, the group was signed to the Motown Records subsidiary label, Gordy. They recorded and released their self titled debut album in 1978, which featured their first Top 10 R&B hit single, entitled "There'll Never Be".

Tionne Tenese Watkins (born April 26, 1970), better known by her stage name T-Boz, is an American singer-songwriter, actress, author, poet, and executive producer who rose to fame as one-third of the R&B/hip-hop girl group TLC.
Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins was born in Des Moines, Iowa to Gayle Watkins. She is of African American and Native American descent. As a child, Watkins was diagnosed with sickle-cell anemia; her parents both have the homozygous recessive trait which one in 12 people of African descent have. Since the age of seven, Watkins has been in and out of hospitals due to her condition. Watkins' family moved from Des Moines to Atlanta, Georgia, when she was nine years old. Because of her disease, Watkins was not expected to have children or live past her 30s.
An Atlanta local named Crystal Jones held auditions for a local group and chose Watkins, and Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes eventually attracted the attention of Perri "Pebbles" Reid and her husband, LaFace Records chief Antonio "L.A." Reid. L.A. Reid replaced Jones with Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas and the group was signed in 1991 as TLC. They went on to become one of the most successful girl groups in history and sell over 45 million records worldwide. T-Boz has won four Grammy Awards for her work with TLC.

Terry Christian (born 8 May 1960) is a British television and radio presenter whose credits include Channel 4's late night Youth Entertainment show The Word and ITV1 moral issues talk show It's My Life. Christian was born in Old Trafford to Irish parents (born in Dublin) and grew up in Brooks Bar Old Trafford with five brothers and sisters. He was educated at St. Alphonsus Primary School, Ayres Road, Old Trafford and St Bede's College, Manchester. His father was a shop steward in the TGWU at Esso in Trafford Park. He attended Thames Polytechnic in London studying Applied Biology and has an HND in that subject specialising in microbiology.
He was spotted in 1981 by Maxine Baker, who booked him along with 99 other unemployed youngsters from the inner City area of Manchester for Devil's Advocate, a programme made by Granada Television and networked on a Sunday night on ITV about youngsters on the dole, presented by former World in Action editor Gus Macdonald. The show was made in reaction to the Scarman report which looked into the causes of that summers riots in Moss Side, Toxteth, Brixton, Handsworth and St Pauls, Bristol. Amongst the other kids on the dole alongside Christian on Devil's Advocate was Johnny Marr of The Smiths. As a result of his appearances on the programme, Christian was offered his own radio show on BBC Radio Derby called Barbed Wireless.

Tito Jackson
Toriano Adaryll "Tito" Jackson (born October 15, 1953) is an American singer and lead guitarist and original member of The Jackson 5, which later changed their name to The Jacksons, who rose to fame in the late 1960s with the Motown label, later finding success under the Epic label in the 1970s and 1980s.
Jackson was the third eldest of the nine Jackson siblings and was raised in Gary, Indiana. His father, Joe worked with a band called the Falcons at the time of Jackson's birth but eventually quit after the length of his family expanded. Jackson's early career aspirations began when his father was often away at work at U.S. Steel, playing with his father's guitar, which had been forbidden to be used.
Jackson broke one of his father's guitar strings while his father worked night hours. When his father discovered that his string had broke, he ordered Jackson to play for him to avoid discipline. Upon playing the guitar, an impressed Joe Jackson later bought the eight-year-old Jackson his own guitar. Within a year, he discovered that Tito and his brothers Jackie and Jermaine could also hold notes and his father built a group around them simply calling them The Jackson Brothers. Younger brothers Marlon and Michael later became backing musicians.

Sheridan was active as a Militant tendency entryist in the Labour Party, before leaving Labour as a member of Scottish Militant Labour (SML). He was a prominent campaigner against the poll tax in Scotland, and was jailed for six months for attending a warrant sale after Glasgow Sheriff Court had served a court order on him banning his presence. Sheridan has twice been jailed in connection with campaigning against the presence of the nuclear fleet at Faslane Naval Base - a presence which continues.
In 2006 in the case of Sheridan v News International he won an action for defamation against the News of the World and was awarded £200,000 damages. The following year, he was charged with perjury, for having told lies to the court in the defamation case. In the following weeks, six of his relations and colleagues were also charged. In October 2010, he appeared together with his wife Gail at a trial for perjury. While the charges against his wife were withdrawn, on 23 December 2010, Sheridan was convicted of perjury, and on 26 January he was sentenced to three years imprisonment. In the light of the News of the World phone hacking affair, the Crown Office has been ordered to reassess the case. He was released from prison on 30 January 2012, one year into his sentence.

Two years later, she flew to England to appear in Celebrity Big Brother where she made it to the final six contestants and was evicted on the final night of the show. She befriended Maggot, the rapper from Goldie Looking Chain, but was ridiculed by the singer Pete Burns. She selected Families of SMA as the charity to receive a donation from her participation in the show because her niece had died from Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). In 2007, Bingham appeared on VH1's The Surreal Life: Fame Games and won the $100,000 Goldenpalace.net Grand Prize. In 2008, Bingham appeared on Fox Reality's Gimme My Reality Show! competing with six other celebrities to get their own reality show.

"When the Rain Begins to Fall" is a 1984 song written and composed by Peggy March, Michael Bradley, and Steve Wittmack, recorded by singers Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora, and released as a single at the end of 1984. The song was performed in the movie Voyage of the Rock Aliens, in which Zadora played a lead role. It was covered by a variety of artists through the years. The plot of the video begins as Pia Zadora's gang start their motorcycles and go and visit the town of Jackson's gang. When the two gangs meet, Zadora's gang leader asks if there is a bar in the town. Jackson sings the beginning of the song while Zadora's gang drives off to find the bar where both gangs later meet up. Zadora and Jackson display an attraction for each other and eventually run off together taking refuge in an outdoor wooded area outside of the town. Zadora's gang leader won't take this lying down and goes looking for her and eventually tracks them down. A fight begins that eventually involves both gangs in a brawl. After the brawl Zadora decides to leave with her gang and Jackson is left wondering about what might have been. Bob Giraldi directed the video, and it was featured in the movie Voyage of the Rock Aliens. In addition, of some media entities, he says he personally "hates that Jacko crap, they need to stop that". Jermaine also tells King that he learned from "you guys" - CNN, specifically - about his brother's being admitted to the hospital. At the end of the show, Larry's wife Shawn joins Jermaine to make a "surprise announcement" that they will be organizing a tribute concert to Michael in September, which Shawn says will be full of "surprises." Michael and Jermaine Jackson - Tell me I'm not dreamin' live in Victory tour Greek subtitles Greek subtitles "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' (Too Good to Be True)" is the title of a duet featuring American brothers Jermaine and Michael Jackson, taken from Jermaine Jackson's 1984 album, which was called Jermaine Jackson in the US and Dynamite in the UK and other countries. The song was nominated at the 1985 Grammy Awards for Best R&B; Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The vocal version of "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin'" was on the B-side to both the 7" and 12" versions of Jermaine Jackson's single, "Do What You Do",[1][2] while an instrumental version of the song was on the B-side to another Jermaine Jackson song, "Dynamite".[3][4] In her 1993 book Michael Jackson: The King of Pop, author Lisa D. Campbell states that "although it was never officially released as a single because of legal difficulties between Michael's label, Epic, and Jermaine's label, Arista, the song did receive a lot of airplay."[5] As a result, Billboard at the time could not show the song on any "single" chart. Billboard had not yet began publishing the airplay chart which it would have registered on. The song however did register on Radio and Records Top 40 chart, which at the time often mirrored Billboard's Hot 100's top 40 positions, but was based solely on airplay, and peaked at #6 in June of '84. Dans cette émission Jermaine avait annoncé une tournée des Jackson en été 2011 à partir de juin. Comme depuis 1989 toutes les annonces de Jermaine tombent à l'eau. Il aura quand même fait presque une tournée en Europe en assistant comme spectateur à plusieurs concerts de "The Icone Janet Jackson" comme à Paris deux fois (NUMBERS ONE la tournée à énorme succès planétaire qui ne cesse de voir des concerts supplémentaires mis en place, et des prolongations au moins jusque début 2012. Les concerts pour l'Australie d'octobre et novembre sont bien sûr complets, il y en à eu des supplémentaires, mais comme en suite elle va en Afrique la aussi sold out avec des dates supplémentaires, pour faire un troisième passage aux USA début décembre 2011. Elle retournera en Asie et en Europe début 2012.) À défaut d'autre chose, Jermaine ne fait plus rien depuis 1984 (dernier album des Jackson avec Michael) comme ses 4 frères. Ses deux autres sœurs elles n'ont jamais rien fait ! Autres choses Druker qui parle souvent pour ne rien dire, avait pendant un petit hommage à Michael dans la même émission , parler des concerts de MJ à Paris dont sont « passage au stade de France » Unique problème Michael n'a jamais fait le Stade De France. Jackson is the fourth child of Joseph and Katherine Jackson, born in Gary, Indiana after his brother Tito Jackson. His brothers and sisters are Rebbie, Jackie, Tito, La Toya, Marlon, Michael, Randy and Janet.[1] He was raised as a Jehovah's Witness by his devout mother (though he later converted to Islam in 1989 after a trip to Bahrain). Jermaine was the original lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the Jackson Brothers—an earlier incarnation of The Jackson Five—until 1968, when younger brother Michael began assisting with lead vocals. He remained the lead vocalist with Michael for many years. Jackson graduated from Birmingham High School in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California in 1973.[2]
The Jackson 5[link]
Jermaine and his brothers signed with Motown Records in 1968. As the co-lead singer of The Jackson 5 after his brother Michael, Jermaine sang notable parts of "I Want You Back", "I'll Be There", "The Love You Save","Dancing Machine", and many other Jackson 5 songs. In 1975, after six years performing with his brothers, Jermaine split from the Jackson 5 to continue his solo career at Motown Records while the other Jackson brothers left to sign with Epic Records. In 1983, he reunited with his brothers for the Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever television special. After the success of the broadcast, he rejoined the band to record the album Victory and participated in the Victory Tour. He stayed with the group for their final album 2300 Jackson Street in 1990. In 2001, he reunited with his brothers to perform for the 30th anniversary
Solo career[link]
Like Michael, Jermaine began a solo career while still a member of The Jackson 5, and had a hit with the 1972 Shep and the Limelites cover "Daddy's Home". It sold over one million copies by March 1973, and was awarded a gold disc.[3] When The Jackson 5 left Motown, Jermaine left the group and stayed at Motown, as he had married Hazel Gordy and Motown head Berry Gordy was his father-in-law. In 2009, Jermaine claimed on the family reality series The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty it was because "Motown was gonna make us like the Beatles. We were the Jackson 5 and that's all I wanted."[citation needed]
Jermaine was nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for his 1980 album Let's Get Serious. He had numerous Billboard Top 30 hits throughout the 1970s and 1980s, including "Daddy's Home" (#9), "That's How Love Goes", "Let's Be Young Tonight", "Bass Odyssey", "Feel the Fire", "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy" (featuring Devo on backing vocals) (#18), "Let's Get Serious" (#9, also one of his only two UK hits, peaking at #8), "Dynamite" (#15), "Do What You Do" (#13), and "I Think It's Love" (#16). A duet with his brother Michael, "Tell Me I'm Not Dreamin' (Too Good to Be True)", hit #1 on the dance chart in 1984. He and Michael also collaborated with Rockwell, both providing guest vocals on his 1984 hit single, "Somebody's Watching Me". In 1985, his duet with Pia Zadora, When the Rain Begins to Fall, topped several singles charts in Europe. His final chart success, 1989's "Don't Take It Personal", hit #1 on the Billboard R&B singles chart. Some of Jermaine's finest moments as a singer can be heard in the soulful "Castle of Sand" and the Earth Wind & Fire inspired "You Need To Be Loved".
Jackson is proficient on the electric guitar and is a talented bass guitar player. Already at an early age he performed the parts of legendary bass player James Jamerson etc., when J5 performed live. Jermaine also composed and produced for other artists like Switch. He also produced and sang a couple of duets on Whitney Houston's debut album on Arista Records. In 1992, he produced The Jacksons: An American Dream, an award-winning and highly-rated miniseries about the history of The Jackson 5. Jermaine Jr. portrayed his father as a young teenager in the miniseries.
Reality TV: Big Brother UK[link]
Jackson was the first housemate to enter the Celebrity Big Brother UK house in 2007. He steered clear of the controversy caused by the series, avoiding confrontation and offering moral support to fellow housemate Shilpa Shetty against alleged bullying from fellow housemates Jade Goody, Danielle Lloyd, and Jo O'Meara. He was often considered to be the most stable minded in the house. During a task in the Big Brother house, the housemates had to create a tribute band for The Jackson 5. The performance of "I Want You Back" helped put The Jackson 5 back in the UK charts at #53. The final three consisted of Dirk Benedict, Jermaine Jackson, and Shilpa Shetty. After leaving Big Brother,[4] Jackson did several interviews on UK television, stating why and how he took his peaceful and mediating stance in the Big Brother house. He also spoke about the Jackson 5 reuniting for a performance. Jackson was part of the second season of the CMT reality show Gone Country.
Later works[link]
He is currently involved in several charity projects and has been working on projects to help orphaned children around the world. Among other countries, he has visited Bangladesh as part of his work to raise funds and help children.
In April 2007, Jackson returned to the UK to take part in a one-off special of ITV's Challenge Anneka. On the same trip he appeared in Glasgow with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, speaking in support of Searchlight magazine's anti-racism campaign, the Daily Mirror "Hope Not Hate bus".[5]
On November 23, 2007, Jackson appeared on Katie & Peter: Unleashed and again talked of a reunion with his brothers on a tour the following year. In 2008, Jackson flew to Australia to be a guest judge and mentor for the top 5 Michael Jackson night on Australian Idol. In March 2008, Jackson was the guest of honour at the Muslim Writers Awards in Birmingham.
In 2009, following the passing of his brother Michael, he appeared on the A&E television series The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty documenting what was supposed to be a 40th anniversary reunion between Jermaine and his brothers. The series lasted one season and Jermaine along with his three other brothers was listed as an executive producer. In October 2010, Jermaine played a concert at the Planet Hollywood hotel and casino in Las Vegas titling it "40 Years of Jackson Music" dedicating the concert to Michael.
He wrote the memoir You Are Not Alone: Michael Through a Brother's Eyes.[6]
Jackson converted to Islam in 1989 after a trip to Bahrain[7][8] and publicly expressed his religious beliefs during his appearance on Big Brother. While filming the program, Jackson prayed and fasted. He also expressed his hopes to convert his brother Michael to Islam, saying it would provide him with peace and help to heal his problems.[9][10][11]
He supported his brother Michael Jackson, during the 2005 child-abuse trial. He came to Michael's defense on CNN's Larry King Live and appeared with him in court on many occasions. On June 25, 2009, Jermaine held a press conference at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and broke the news of Michael Jackson's death to the media.[citation needed]
Jackson attended the memorial service for his brother Michael on July 7, 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. He acted as a pallbearer, and performed the song Smile by Charlie Chaplin, which was believed to be his brother's favorite song, in tribute.[12]
Jackson is an avid Los Angeles Dodgers fan. In 2009 while wearing a Manny Ramirez jersey, he made a one-handed catch of a foul ball while seated behind the Dodgers dugout. [13]

On December 15, 1973, Jackson married Hazel Joy Gordy, who is the daughter of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy.[14][15] Together, the couple have three children: Jermaine LaJaune "Jay" Jackson, Jr., (born January 27, 1977), Autumn Joy Jackson (born July 10, 1978), and Jaimy Jackson (born March 17, 1987). Jackson had a relationship beginning in 1986 with Margaret Maldonado during his marriage to Hazel. After his divorce with Gordy in 1988, Jackson started living with Maldonado, with whom he has two children: Jeremy Maldonado Jackson, (born December 16, 1986) and Jourdynn Michael Jackson, (born January 5, 1989).
After separating from Maldonado, Jackson started a relationship with his younger-brother Randy's ex-girlfriend, Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza, who has two children by Randy Jackson: daughter Genevieve and son Randy Jr. She also has two sons by Jermaine: Jaafar, born July 25, 1996, and Jermajesty, born October 7, 2000.[7]
Jackson is currently married to Halima Rashid, a wealthy native originally from Afghanistan.[16] They live in Los Angeles, frequently traveling to London and Bahrain.
In all, Jackson has eight children: three with Hazel, two with Margaret, and two with Alejandra. Another child, a daughter named Dawn, was born in 1984.

Jackson was portrayed by Jason Griffith in the 2004 film Man in the Mirror: The Michael Jackson Story, while his son, Jermaine Jackson Jr., portrayed him in the 1992 miniseries The Jacksons: An American Dream. In 2010 on Saturday Night Live, Jackson was portrayed by Kenan Thompson.
