The United States of America (commonly abbreviated to the United States, the U.S., the USA, America, and the States) is a federal constitutional republic comprising fifty states and a federal district. The U.S. economy is the world's largest national economy, with an estimated 2011 GDP of $15.1 trillion (22% of nominal global GDP and over 19% of global GDP at purchasing-power parity). Per capita income is the world's sixth-highest.

Chris Marquette
Chris Marquette (born October 3, 1984) is an American film and television actor.
Marquette was born Christopher George Rodríguez in Stuart, Florida, the son of Patricia Helen "Tisha" (née Marquette) and Jorge Luis "George" Rodriguez, a nuclear engineer. Marquette has two younger brothers, actors Eric Marquette and Sean Marquette. He supports charities such as the Sunshine Kids Foundation (to grant wishes of seriously ill, handicapped and abused children), Pediatric AIDS, and the Children's AIDS Fund.
In 1995 he made a brief appearance on SNL / season 21 episode 4. The 11 year old Marquette played a trick or treater in the opening halloween sketch. He forgets his line and whispers Damn under his breath, before Norm McDonald helps him out. In 2000, he made his first apperence in the best Disney film to date; Up, Up, and Away.
In 2004, he starred alongside actors Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert in the coming-of-age teen comedy The Girl Next Door. The same year, he became a series regular on the CBS show Joan of Arcadia opposite Amber Tamblyn and Jason Ritter (with whom Marquette co-starred with in the 2003 slasher film Freddy vs. Jason) before Joan of Arcadia's cancellation in early 2005.

Jane Sibbett
Jane Moore Sibbett (born November 28, 1962) is an American actress and producer. Her most notable roles include Heddy on the Fox television series Herman's Head, and as Ross Geller's (first) ex-wife, Carol Willick, on the American TV sitcom Friends.
Sibbett started her acting career as Jane Wilson on the NBC soap opera Santa Barbara in 1986-87, for which she was nominated for a Best Newcomer award before she moved to CBS' show "The Famous Teddy Z" to co-star with Jon Cryer and Alex Rocco. Starring in more than 200 episodes of TV, including as Morgan Faulkner in The Nanny, Sibbett also guest starred on the television show 21 Jump Street. She starred in the 1998 movie Noah alongside Tony Danza and Wallace Shawn as well as in 1998's The Second Arrival alongside Patrick Muldoon and Michael Sarrazin. She appeared in Dan O'Bannon's 1992 film The Resurrected. She co-starred with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in It Takes Two (1995), the telefilm, Au Pair (1999).
Sibbett has co-produced three documentaries on Braco, a Croatian healer, with her company, Wild Aloha Studios in 2010 and 2011. The latest The Paradigm Shift is due to be released fall 2011.

Jesse Moss
Jesse Moss (born May 4, 1983) is a Canadian actor.
Moss was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is best known for his roles of Jason Wise in Final Destination 3 and Quinn McKaye on Whistler, for which Moss won a Leo Award for Best Lead Performance by a Male in a Dramatic Series in 2007. Moss starred in the Dear Mr. Gacy, the film adaptation of The Last Victim, the memoirs of Jason Moss (no relation), a college student who corresponded with notorious serial killer John Wayne Gacy (played by actor William Forsythe).
He has also been involved as a voice actor in animation including Reboot, Billy the Cat, Trollz, Stories From My Childhood, the Goodtimes Fairy Tales films, Double Dragon, Captain Zed and the Zee Zone, Pocket Dragon Adventures and Mummies Alive!.
Moss has one brother, Rory Moss, and one sister, actress Tegan Moss. His older brother Rory Moss, an inspirational footballer, gave up the game to play golf, which he later went on to become a financially successful tour golfer.

Ken Kwapis
Kenneth William “Ken” Kwapis (born August 17, 1957) is an American film and television director and screenwriter. He specialized in the single-camera sitcom in the 1990s and 2000s and has directed feature films such as Sesame Street Presents Follow That Bird, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and He's Just Not That into You.
Kwapis was born in East St. Louis, Illinois, and grew up in neighboring Belleville. He is of Polish descent and was raised Catholic, attending the Jesuit preparatory academy St. Louis University High School. He earned a Bachelor's degree at Northwestern University's School of Speech, after which he traveled west to enroll in the M.F.A. program at the USC School of Cinema-Television. Kwapis’ twenty-four minute thesis film, For Heaven's Sake, won the Student Academy Award in 1982. The film is a contemporary adaptation of Mozart's one-act opera Der Schauspieldirektor (The Impresario).
Kwapis is married to Marisa Silver, with whom he has two sons.
In 1983, Kwapis directed Revenge of the Nerd for CBS' Afternoon Playhouse, followed by Summer Switch for ABC's Afterschool Special. Starring Robert Klein, Summer Switch is an adaptation of the novel of the same name, the sequel to a young adult fantasy, Freaky Friday. For the Scholastic Book Company, Kwapis directed The Beniker Gang, starring Andrew McCarthy.

Michal Suchánek
Michal Suchánek (born 27 October 1987) is a Canadian actor, born in the former Czechoslovakia.
At the age of 12, Suchánek debuted in his first role in the The Nutcracker. His career accelerated after he signed with Evangelista in Vancouver, and he received many offers to do commercials which were broadcast in Canada and the U.S.
He has also appeared on TV movies and programs, such as Sleepwalkers, X-Files, Hope Island, Zalinda's Story, Dirty Little Secret,Noah, Unconditional Love (TV), and Y2K. He appeared in HBO's Edison: The Wizard of Light for which he received an Emmy nomination.
He was nominated for a Young Artist Award in connection with his performance in Aftershock: Earthquake in New York, mini-series. His father, who holds a master's in performing arts, is his acting coach. A Canadian citizen, he divides his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver, British Columbia.

Tony Danza
Tony Danza (born Antonio Salvatore Iadanza, April 21, 1951) is an American actor best known for starring on the TV series Taxi and Who's the Boss?, for which he was nominated for an Emmy Award and four Golden Globe Awards. In 1998, Danza won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Male Performer in a New Television Series for his work on the 1997 sitcom The Tony Danza Show.
Danza was born in Brooklyn, New York, to parents Anne Cammisa Iadanza (1925–1993) and Matty Iadanza (1920–1983), both of whom died from cancer. Matty Iadanza worked as a garbage man in Brooklyn. Danza's family was of Italian ancestry. He has a younger brother, Matty Jr. (born 1954), a Los Angeles restaurant owner. When Danza was 14, he and his family relocated to Malverne, New York on Long Island. Danza attended Malverne High School, graduating in 1968. In the first episode of his show "Teach: Tony Danza", Danza describes himself as a "bad student" in high school. Danza earned a bachelor's degree in history in 1972 from the University of Dubuque, which he attended on a wrestling scholarship. It was during his first year of college that he got the Robert Crumb Keep on Truckin' tattoo on his upper right arm. In a 1985 interview in Us Weekly magazine, Danza remarked, "I was playing pool with a guy who had all these tattoos, and I wanted to be friends." Danza sports a "Keep Punching" boxing gloves tattoo on his right shoulder. In college, Danza met and married his first wife. Danza was a professional boxer with a 9-3 record, with all of his fights, wins and losses, ending by knockout.

Wallace Shawn
Wallace Michael Shawn (born November 12, 1943), sometimes credited as Wally Shawn, is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, author, voice artist, and intellectual. His best-known film roles include Wally Shawn in My Dinner with Andre (1981), Vizzini in The Princess Bride (1987), and debate teacher Mr. Hall in Clueless (1995).
On television he played Grand Nagus Zek in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Shawn is well known for his distinctive and high pitched voice. In the animated Toy Story films he provided the voice of Rex, an insecure toy Tyrannosaurus Rex.
Shawn has pursued a parallel career as a playwright whose work is often dark, politically charged and controversial.
He most recently starred as the voice of Taotie in Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness.
Shawn was born into a prominent Jewish family in New York City, where he continues to reside. He is the son of William Shawn, the longtime editor of The New Yorker, and journalist Cecille Shawn (née Lyon); his brother, Allen, is a composer. Shawn attended The Putney School, a private liberal arts high school in Putney, Vermont, and graduated with an A.B. in history from Harvard College. He studied economics and philosophy at Oxford, originally intending to become a diplomat; he also traveled to India as an English teacher, on a Fulbright program. Since 1979, Shawn has made a living primarily as an actor.

Additional info:
- I never finished my original goal of walking to Germany. Instead, I walked for a year and roughly 4500km, passed the Gobi desert, and then decided to stop walking for now.
- All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things.
- I had been planning this trip for over a year before I even started, and getting as far as I got was an experience for which I am very grateful.
- Obtaining the necessary visa for a trip like this was not very easy, hence I had to go back to Beijing a few times to resolve some issues.
- This is not a strict "1 pic a day" video, because I wanted to make it a bit more alive by adding some additional movement. Sometimes during the film you would follow me turn around, or something would happen in the background. I tried to capture these moments to make the video more interesting.

Birdmen is a documentary film about the dream of human flight becoming reality. For millennia, humans have looked to the sky and dreamed of arcing through the air, like birds. Additional info:
- I never finished my original goal of walking to Germany. Instead, I walked for a year and roughly 4500km, passed the Gobi desert, and then decided to stop walking for now.
- All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things.
- I had been planning this trip for over a year before I even started, and getting as far as I got was an experience for which I am very grateful.
- Obtaining the necessary visa for a trip like this was not very easy, hence I had to go back to Beijing a few times to resolve some issues.
- This is not a strict "1 pic a day" video, because I wanted to make it a bit more alive by adding some additional movement. Sometimes during the film you would follow me turn around, or something would happen in the background. I tried to capture these moments to make the video more interesting.

- I never finished my original goal of walking to Germany. Instead, I walked for a year and roughly 4500km, passed the Gobi desert, and then decided to stop walking for now.
- All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things.
- I had been planning this trip for over a year before I even started, and getting as far as I got was an experience for which I am very grateful.
- Obtaining the necessary visa for a trip like this was not very easy, hence I had to go back to Beijing a few times to resolve some issues.
- This is not a strict "1 pic a day" video, because I wanted to make it a bit more alive by adding some additional movement. Sometimes during the film you would follow me turn around, or something would happen in the background. I tried to capture these moments to make the video more interesting.

- All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things.
- I had been planning this trip for over a year before I even started, and getting as far as I got was an experience for which I am very grateful.
- Obtaining the necessary visa for a trip like this was not very easy, hence I had to go back to Beijing a few times to resolve some issues.
- This is not a strict "1 pic a day" video, because I wanted to make it a bit more alive by adding some additional movement. Sometimes during the film you would follow me turn around, or something would happen in the background. I tried to capture these moments to make the video more interesting.

Birdmen is a documentary film about the dream of human flight becoming reality. For millennia, humans have looked to the sky and dreamed of arcing through the air, like birds. And now, after hundreds of thousands of years, humans can fly. It is dangerous, deadly, and requires years of training, but a select few have committed their lives to the pursuit of the purest form of human flight: Wingsuit BASE Jumping.
'Birdmen' follows the dream of human flight, from its inception in ancient times to the modern world. What started with stuntmen hurling themselves to their death from objects such as the Eiffel Tower has become a respected extreme sport in which athletes zoom through the mountains at 150mph, just inches from trees and cliff faces.
During the film, professional wingsuit pilots Ellen Brennan, Mike Steen, and Matt Gerdes escort you through the inspiring yet tragic history of their ancestral birdmen and then show you the cutting edge of human flight in the year 2012. Matt, Mike, and Ellen are some of the most talented wingsuit pilots in the world – during the film, they pioneer new wingsuit flights in the European Alps and experience the highs and lows of a flying life. Finally, the future of the sport is envisioned, where scientists in Switzerland explain how pilots can soon achieve perfectly balanced and relatively safe flight paths using cruise-control autonomous systems and small engines.
'BIRDMEN' is the first documentary ever made that covers the past, present, and possible future of the sport.
