Here is a video I shot while on the Disney Cruise. We were in Nassau Bahamas and went on a Stuart Cove's Shark feeding adventure. We did not feed the sharks of course but watched at extremely close range (Watch in one shot where my son gets hit in the head by a sharks lower caudal fin.) This was one of the best dives we have ever done. This was shot entirely on a $300 GoPro Hero HD video camera. AWESOME! These Awesome predators certainly deserve our respect and I would only do a dive like this with reputable operations like Stuart Cove's. Meanwhile, in the coastal US states alone, lightning strikes and kills more than 41 people each year. These numbers may even be on the low side, since the estimate is based only on the reported catch numbers. It's likely that many sharks are caught without being reported. A twin-engine Cessna charter flight out of Nassau, Bahamas crashed right after takeoff into Lake Killarney this afternoon today in the Bahamas. The small plane had 8 people on board that were flying to the southern Bahamas island of San Salvador. Eye witnesses said that one of the engines caught on fire, causing the plane to lose power on takeoff and crash. William Bethel who helped in the rescue effort said that seven bodies were pulled from the lake by rescue workers and airport staff immediately soon after the crash. The eighth victim died after being pulled from the plane crash wreckage on the way to the hospital. Everyone on board the flight was Bahamian. To license this footage, contact www.bnvn.com
