    • For many of us, the holidays are in full force. Everywhere you go is decked out with holiday decorations and playing holiday music. The White House is no exception. There is perhaps no other place in America with such lavish decorations. More than 90,000 visitors flock to the White House during the holiday season, and plenty of planning goes into making it look its best.

This year, there's a video on the Web showing someone looking over all the White House finery to make sure everything is in its proper place. The surprise decorations inspector is none other than the first family's beloved dog, Bo Obama.

The video is set to the Tchaikovsky's "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" from "The Nutcracker." Bo Obama casually walks the floors of the White House, keeping a keen eye on the traditionally decorated rooms. Included in the holiday decor is a tribute to American soldiers and their families, plus 54 trees and even a larger-than-life model of Bo himself. Bo takes a seat right in front of

    • People who grow up with brothers and/or sisters are all too familiar with sibling rivalries. One sibling always seems to be competing for the attention of the parents or playing with the favorite toy. For twins, the rivalry may be even more intense. In fact, a new video making the rounds on the Web suggests that the twin rivalry may begin even before birth.

The video from CBS News was taken during a "cinematic-MRI" for a study at London's Center for Fetal Care. It shows unborn twins seemingly struggling for space in their mother's womb, with one fetus nudging and kicking the other.

The cinematic-MRI machines were being studied to determine whether they could be used to diagnose twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, a potentially deadly condition that occurs when blood moves from one fetus to the other. The sudden shift of blood can cause a hemorrhage or stroke in one or both twins. The newly popular video is reminiscent of another recent one, which showed what human birth looks like from

    • Instagram is arguably one of the coolest inventions of the last couple of years for smartphones. Some people might even say that it has revolutionized the way people share photos on social media. The premier feature, which allows users to add different filters to photos that enhance the colors and shading, is wildly popular. So popular, in fact, that the Mexico City band The Plastics Revolution are making Instagram an art form.

With their latest music video "Invasión," the band claims to have released the first-ever video that uses all Instagram-generated images. The look is pretty impressive. Filmmaker Arturo Perez Jr. put together the video using 1,905 images taken around San Francisco. Each picture was run through one of the many Instagram filters on an iPhone. It's unclear whether the photos were all actually taken with an iPhone.

The video features a young man who finds a map in a bottle on the beach as he awakens to find himself floating on his bed in the ocean. He meets a

    • When it comes to elaborate pranks, the one that 26-year-old Jose Barrientos played on his professor and classmates for an entire semester may take the cake. The aspiring comedian decided to speak in a Mexican accent during his public-speaking class and record himself during his presentations to the class. In reality, Barrientos just has an American accent.

Barrientos uploaded a video of himself carrying out his comedic experiment. At the beginning of the video, he explains his intentions during the four prepared speeches that he has to do for the class. For one assignment, when he has to present an object that describes him, Barrientos brings in a piñata. He uses the second speech to talk about his idol, so he talks about David Hasselhoff.

Barrientos talks about the history of Cinco de Mayo in his third speech. In speech four, it's time for the big reveal. Barrientos pretends to have created a new soft drink called BABG (Barrientos Accent Be Gone). He takes a sip, and magically he

    • It's no secret that most kids love to see characters in costumes, but for those who actually have to wear them, it's quite the chore. The Choko Group mascot school in Tokyo, Japan, treats the entertainment of children as a serious business.

The mascot school — founded by Choko Oohira, a 20-year veteran of wearing mascot costumes herself — is focused on teaching performers the most effective ways to inhabit and showcase their characters. The school is the only one of its kind in Japan, and quite possibly the world. (Mascots and characters at amusement parks like Disney World and Six Flags are usually trained on the job.)

Lessons consist of everything from dance to the best ways to portray specific characters. In a video uploaded to YouTube that shows mascots in a skills training class, they march in place while in full costume. Oohira says of her efforts to put out the best mascots: "When I see a real hand poking out of the costume's hand, or their mask slips, it's very disappointing.
