Touring Australia: Temperate Rain Forest
A look at the rain forest in Tarra Bulga National Park. The park is located in South Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. This footage was shot with two Sony cameras and the quality between the hand held consumer cam and the tripod mounted Z5P is glaringly obvious.

The Way to Happiness Video: Be Temperate
2. Be temperate -- do not take harmful drugs nor drink alcohol to excess. The Way to Happiness is comprised of 21 precepts, each one predicated on the fact that one's survival depends on the survival of all others—and that without the survival of others, no joy and no happiness are attainable. In illustration of those precepts, the Church of Scientology sponsored the production and airing of a corresponding series of informational videos. They are presented in the spirit of the booklet itself, which is a roadmap to a happier life through values of compassion and caring that every member of a civilized society holds dear.

The Edge of the Earth - DOCUMENTARY
A documentary about a journey to "The Edge of the Earth". The Gates of the Arctic National Park is the northernmost national park in the U.S. (the entirety of the park lies north of the Arctic Circle). There are no established roads, trails, visitor facilities, or campgrounds in the park.
Following the Alatna River you will see an amazing place people rarely see, including the amazing Arrigetch Peaks.
"For the next two weeks you must survive using the knowledge, skills and gear you bring with you. You will walk or float through intact ecosystems where people have lived with the land for thousands of years. You will experience solitude, self reliance and nature on its own terms. Are you prepared?"
Filmed using Solar Power for Two Weeks = 10,000 combined shutter releases and video clips. Below is the link to how I accomplished this and stored all the pictures and video files.

Metropolis - A New York City Timelapse
*Please watch this at the highest resolution you can with the sound up. You'll be glad you did!*
New York City has been my home for seven years and as a filmmaker and photographer I can’t help but be in awe of the vibrancy and beauty of this place . I wanted to create a work that captures and conveys my love for it. This video is something that I have been working to create for two and a half years. As a freelancer, I shot this film in the little windows of time between work, looking for my next job, and getting engaged and married. I’ve shown some of these shots to friends along the way, but this single, unified piece has always been the focus of my filming and I’m very happy to present it now.
I want to thank two people who made this possible; first, my wife Pooja for putting up with my need to shoot sunrises and late-night shots when she’d really rather I didn’t and being my best critic, biggest fan, and muse. And secondly, my awesome friend and collaborator Brandon Bailey who was there from the very first shoot with advice, support and enthusiasm. Thanks for everything!
Filmed between May 2009 and September 2011.

22 Years of Sea Surface Temperatures
The NOAA polar-orbiting satellites (POES) have been collecting sea surface temperature data for over 22 years. This animation is a compilation of that data from January 1985 - January 2007. Of note are the changes in the Gulf Stream, El Nino and La Nina cycles in the Pacific, and the seansonal changes in sea ice cover.
