Thai Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva  is seen Tuesday, March 30, 2010, after a press conference in Manama, Bahrain. A protest movement demanding new elections in Thailand has abandoned negotiations with Abhisit and said Tuesday it will instead resume its massive street demonstrations. The opposition believes Abhisit came to power illegitimately with the connivance of the military and other parts of the traditional ruling class and that only new elections can restore integrity to Thai democracy.
