Francis Albert "Frank" Sinatra (/sᵻˈnɑːtrə/; December 12, 1915 – May 14, 1998) was an American singer, actor, producer, and director, who was one of the most popular and influential musical artists of the 20th century. Sinatra's music has been considered timeless by many. He is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold more than 150 million records worldwide. Born in Hoboken, New Jersey, to Italian immigrants, he began his musical career in the swing era with Harry James and Tommy Dorsey. He found success as a solo artist after being signed by Columbia Records in 1943, becoming the idol of the "bobby soxers". He released his first album, The Voice of Frank Sinatra, in 1946. Sinatra's professional career had stalled by the early 1950s, and he turned to Las Vegas, where he became one of its best known performers as part of the Rat Pack. His career was reborn in 1953 with the success of From Here to Eternity and his subsequent Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor. He signed with Capitol Records and released several critically lauded albums, including In the Wee Small Hours (1955), Songs for Swingin' Lovers! (1956), Come Fly with Me (1958), Only the Lonely (1958) and Nice 'n' Easy (1960).

Students in every Studio/Major are also allowed to audition for the Musical Theatre elective class, who in the past have put on performances such as The King and I, Anything Goes, The Secret Garden, Carousel, Footloose the musical, Little Shop of Horrors, and in March of 2015, Jonathan Larson's RENT. His compilation album Greatest Hits Vol. 1 & 2 is one of the best-selling albums in the US.
Joel had Top 40 hits in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, achieving 33 Top 40 hits in the US, all of which he wrote himself. He is also a six-time Grammy Award winner who has been nominated for 23 Grammy Awards. He has sold more than 150 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling artists of all time.
Joel was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame (1992), the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1999), and the Long Island Music Hall of Fame (2006). In 2001, Joel received the Johnny Mercer Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. In 2013, Joel received the Kennedy Center Honors, the nation's highest honor for influencing American culture through the arts. With the exception of the 2007 songs "All My Life" and "Christmas in Fallujah", Joel stopped writing and releasing pop/rock material after 1993's River of Dreams. However, he continues to tour, and he plays songs from all eras of his solo career in his concerts.

Frank Sinatra . 1979 Interview - excerpts - Trades welcome ! Contacts, Franklyjoy22@gmail.com !
An interview with Frank Sinatra conducted by "The King" named Larry in 1988.
Larry talked with the legendary Frank Sinatra in May, 1988 about what it was like to walk out on stage before a performance.
Frank Sinatra is surprised when Don Rickles suddenly appears in one of the funniest moments on "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson" in 1976. In this Frank Sinatra interview, Johnny asks Frank some personal questions and Rickles has a hilarious conversation with Sinatra. Mary Hart (Entertainment Tonight) catches Frank Sr. & Frank Jr. for an interview after a concert in which Frank is singing and Frank Jr. is conducting for his dad. It is amazing how much they sound alike. Frank Jr. tried for a singing career but his voice and style were so much like his dad's that I think it was impossible for him to succeed with the same voice and style (it had already been done)! Previous Comments: Shayne Trimm A savage what!? You can't just cut it off right there! My reply: +Shayne Trimm / Well, actually she had finished the Sinatras' interview and was now announcing what they would be featuring the next day - "You won't want to miss tomorrow's Insider Report which shows exclusive footage of a savage...." - (probably some animal or murderer?) Here, from my collection of personally recorded videos, is the full March 13, 1988 version of Larry King's interview with Ol' Blue Eyes himself, the one and only Frank Sinatra as repeated on December 26, 1997 in honor of Frank's recent 82nd birthday. As Sinatra rarely gave interviews, this one turned out to be his final major one. Enjoy! I always say, comme ci comme ca,*
And go my way, comme ci comme ca,
Since you are gone, nothing excites me.
Since you are gone, no one delights me.
And I go on, comme ci comme ca,
Midnight till dawn, comme ci comme ca,
But should we meet, that would excite me,
And should you smile, that would delight me,
I'd live again to love again,
But until then, comme ci comme ca.
It seems my friends have been complaining
They say that I've been acting rude.
But I have never liked explaining,
Which may explain my attitude.
comme ci comme ca,
comme ci comme ca,
Since you are gone, nothing excites me.
Since you are gone, no one delights me.
hmm, hmm,
tira, rirum.
But should we meet, that would excite me,
And should you smile, that would delight me,
I'd live again to love again,
But until then, comme ci comme ca.
