  DreamWorks Studios, officially DW II Distribution Co., LLC, also known as DreamWorks, LLC, DreamWorks SKG, DreamWorks Studios or DW Studios, LLC, is an American film studio which develops, produces, and distributes films, video games and television programming. It has produced or distributed more than ten films with box-office grosses totalling more than $100 million each.
  DreamWorks began in 1994 as an ambitious attempt by media moguls Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg and David Geffen (forming the SKG present on the bottom of the DreamWorks logo) to create a new Hollywood studio of which they own 72%. In December 2005, the founders agreed to sell the studio to Viacom, parent of Paramount Pictures. The sale was completed in February 2006. In 2008, DreamWorks announced its intention to end its partnership with Paramount and signed a $1.5 billion deal to produce films with India's Reliance ADA Group. Reliance provided $325M of equity to fund recreating Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks studio as an independent entity. Clark Hallren, former Managing Director of the Entertainment Industries group of J.P. Morgan Securities and Alan J. Levine of J.P. Morgan Entertainment Advisors led the Reliance team in structuring the capital and business plan for the company. The movie studio is 50% owned by Reliance which is led by Anil Ambani.

  Until the middle of the 19th century, there were no organized and/or well-established army nursing systems for casualties and no safe and protected institutions to accommodate and treat those who were wounded on the battlefield. In June 1859, the Swiss businessman Jean-Henri Dunant traveled to Italy to meet French emperor Napoléon III with the intention of discussing difficulties in conducting business in Algeria, at that time occupied by France. When he arrived in the small town of Solferino on the evening of June 24, he witnessed the Battle of Solferino, an engagement in the Austro-Sardinian War. In a single day, about 40,000 soldiers on both sides died or were left wounded on the field. Jean-Henri Dunant was a shocked by the terrible aftermath of the battle, the suffering of the wounded soldiers, and the near-total lack of medical attendance and basic care. He completely abandoned the original intent of his trip and for several days he devoted himself to helping with the treatment and care for the wounded. He succeeded in organizing an overwhelming level of relief assistance by motivating the local villagers to aid without discrimination.

  Bill Leeb (born Wilhelm Anton Leeb, 21 September 1957, Vienna, Austria) is an Austrian-Canadian electronic musician.
  He moved to Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada with his family when he was 13. He was a high school student at Mount Elizabeth Secondary School.
  Leeb began his musical career with industrial band Skinny Puppy under the pseudonym of Wilhelm Schroeder in 1985, contributing bass synth and occasional backing vocals to a few of their recordings and concerts from this period. He left in mid 1986 and formed his own industrial project Front Line Assembly with Michael Balch, and later Rhys Fulber and Chris Peterson. Though Front Line Assembly has had consistent underground success, Leeb's most widely known efforts are through his side project, Delerium, which had a major hit in the late 1990s with "Silence".

  Burton C. Bell
  Burton Christopher Bell (born February 19, 1969) is an American musician. Bell is best known as the frontman of the metal band Fear Factory where he is the only consistent member. His singing style mixes clean vocals with death growls.
  Prior to his role in Fear Factory, Bell performed with Hate Face. In 1989, he joined guitarist Dino Cazares and drummer Raymond Herrera to form the band Ulceration, which later changed its name to Fear Factory during the 1990s. The group recorded four studio albums before Fear Factory disbanded temporarily in 2002 due to infighting between Bell and Cazares. The band reformed later that year with Christian Olde Wolbers switching from bass to guitar and Byron Stroud on bass. This line-up recorded two albums. During the following period of inactivity within the band, Cazares and Bell patched up their differences, and in 2009 decided to re-form Fear Factory excluding Herrera and Olde Wolbers, who had since formed the band Arkaea. Drummer Gene Hoglan was recruited to complete the new line-up.

  Ivan Simon Cary Elwes (born 26 October 1962), known professionally as Cary Elwes (pronounced ELL-WAYS ), is an English actor and voice actor. The son of painter Dominick Elwes and designer Tessa Georgina Kennedy, Elwes acted in off-Broadway plays during college and moved to the United States in the early 1980s. He is known for his roles as Westley in the cult classic The Princess Bride and for his role as Dr. Lawrence Gordon in Saw.

  Elwes was born in Westminster, London. He is the third and youngest son of portrait-painter Dominick Elwes and interior designer Tessa Georgina Kennedy, who is of Croatian, Anglo-Irish, and Scottish descent. His paternal grandfather was painter Simon Elwes, whose father was the diplomat and tenor Gervase Elwes (1866–1921). His brothers are Damian Elwes, an artist, and Cassian Elwes, a producer and agent. He is the stepson of Elliott Kastner, an American film producer. One of his ancestors is John Elwes, who is believed to be the inspiration for Ebenezer Scrooge in Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol (1843) (Elwes played the role of Dick Wilkins in the 2009 film adaptation of the novel).

  Charles Alexander "Charlie" Clouser ( /ˈklaʊzər/; born June 28, 1963) is an American musician whose activities include playing keyboard, synth, theremin, and drums. He is known for his abilities in music programming, engineering, mixing, and remixing. He was a member of the band Nine Inch Nails 1994–2000. Before he was in Nine Inch Nails, he was in the alternative band Burning Retna with former L.A. Guns guitarist Mick Cripps and fellow Nothing Records worker Sean Beavan. Clouser also was a member of the band 9 Ways to Sunday who released a self titled album in 1990. Clouser has remixed artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Rammstein and Meat Beat Manifesto.
  In 2004 Clouser produced the album Size Matters by the band Helmet, which consisted mainly of collaborations between Charlie Clouser and Page Hamilton, intended to be a Page Hamilton "solo" album.   Daniel M. Kimmel (born 1955) is an American film critic, writer, and college media professor, currently teaching at Suffolk University. He received a B.A. from the University of Rochester and a degree in law from Boston University.

  Glover was born in San Francisco, California, the son of Carrie (née Hunley) and James Glover. His parents, postal workers, were active in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), working to advance equal rights. Glover's mother, daughter of a midwife, was born in Louisville, Georgia and graduated from Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. Glover grew up with a love for sports, like his father. Glover suffered from epilepsy in his teens and as a young adult. According to his own account, he "developed a way of concentrating so that seizures wouldn't happen." Using this technique, which he describes as "a type of self-hypnosis", Glover says he has not suffered a seizure since age 34.^{[citation needed]}

  David Andrew Leo Fincher (born August 28, 1962) is an American film and music video director who is known for his dark and stylish thrillers, such as Seven (1995), The Game (1997), Fight Club (1999), Panic Room (2002), and Zodiac (2007). Fincher received Academy Award nominations for Best Director for his 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and his 2010 film The Social Network, which also won him the Golden Globe and the BAFTA for Best Director.   Fincher was born on August 28, 1962 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Claire Mae (née Boettcher), a mental health nurse who worked in drug addiction programs, and Howard Kelly Fincher, who worked as a bureau chief for Life under the name Jack Fincher. When Fincher was two years old, the family moved to San Anselmo in Marin County, California. Fincher moved to Ashland, Oregon in his teens, where he graduated from Ashland High School. Inspired by Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Fincher began making movies at age eight with an 8 mm camera. Fincher eschewed the film school route, getting a job loading cameras and doing other hands-on work for John Korty’s Korty Films. He was later hired by Industrial Light & Magic in 1983, where he worked on productions for Twice Upon a Time, Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi, and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. In 1984, he left ILM to direct a commercial for the American Cancer Society, that would show a fetus smoking a cigarette. This quickly brought Fincher to the attention of producers in Los Angeles and he was given the chance to direct the documentary The Beat of the Live Drum featuring Rick Springfield in 1985. Though he would continue to direct spots for companies like Revlon, Converse, Nike, Pepsi, Sony, and Levi's, Fincher soon discovered music videos and went on to direct many promos.

  Dina Meyer (born December 22, 1968) is an American film and television actress, best known for her roles as Barbara Gordon in Birds of Prey, Dizzy Flores in Starship Troopers and Detective Allison Kerry in the Saw films. She portrayed Mrs. Hong as a recurring guest star on ABC's Scoundrels.
  Dina Meyer was born and raised in Forest Hills, Queens, New York, but moved to Dix Hills, Long Island, just before her last year of junior high school. Her first experience in the entertainment industry came when she did some modeling from ages nine to 16. She always wanted to become an actress but her parents did not think that was a wise career move; they wanted her to get a good education, so she went to college and graduated in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing (and a minor in French).
  She has two brothers, one older named Gregory and one younger named Evan.
  Meyer's film debut was in the TV film Strapped in 1993, although her role in the cyberpunk thriller Johnny Mnemonic was perhaps her breakthrough performance. Before that, however, she also had a role in the TV series Beverly Hills, 90210 as Lucinda Nicholson. In addition to Johnny Mnemonic, she has had other roles in science fiction productions, such as Starship Troopers, Birds of Prey and Star Trek Nemesis. She played Detective Allison Kerry in the horror/thriller film Saw and its sequels. She made several guest appearances on Friends and Miss Match, the latter coincidentally alongside another former Batgirl actress, Alicia Silverstone. She also played one of the leads on the now canceled Point Pleasant. In March 2006, Meyer was in the series premiere episode of Thief as Wanda, the wife of Andre Braugher's character Nick, although her character did not reappear. In 2009 she made an appearance on Burn Notice as Samantha, Michael Weston's ex-fiancee. Meyer has a recurring role on ABC's 2010 series Scoundrels as Mrs. Hong.

  Gregg Hoffman (June 11, 1963 – December 4, 2005) born in Phoenix, Arizona, was a film producer responsible for developing Saw and Saw II. He studied communications, law and economics at American University in Washington, D.C.   Kevin Greutert (born March 31, 1965) is an American film director, film editor and writer, best known for his work on the Saw film series. He is married to actress Elizabeth Rowin.
  Greutert was the film editor for The Strangers (2008), Room 6 (2006), and Journey to the End of the Night (2006). He was the editor for Saw series for five films. He made his feature directorial debut with Saw VI, which was released on October 23, 2009.
  Greutert was signed on to direct Paranormal Activity 2, but he was forced off the project and onto Saw 3D after Twisted Pictures (production company behind the Saw films) exercised a "contractual clause" in his contract.Tod Williams replaced him as director for Paranormal Activity 2.Saw 3D was released on October 29, 2010.
  Greutert has also published fiction in such magazines as Ambit and Magic Realism, and performed music on several film scores, including the Paul Bowles documentary "Things Gone and Things Still Here".

  Kim Newman (born 31 July 1959) is an English journalist, film critic, and fiction writer. Recurring interests visible in his work include film history and horror fiction—both of which he attributes to seeing Tod Browning's Dracula at the age of eleven—and alternate fictional versions of history. He has won the Bram Stoker Award, the International Horror Guild Award, and the BSFA award.
  Newman was born in London and was raised in Aller, Somerset. He studied English at the University of Sussex.

He decided to instead further his studies with a Master of Fine Arts that might also introduce him to theatre professionals and directors in his chosen trade. He was also the owner of the Helena Bighorns ice hockey team, and is former part-owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning ice hockey team of the National Hockey League (NHL).
  Born in Chicago to Greek immigrants, Koules is divorced but has remarried with one son, Miles, and one daughter, and lives in Los Angeles. He played soccer and starred in hockey at Lyons Township High School (alma mater of David Hasselhoff) in west suburban Chicago before leaving prior to graduation to pursue his dream of playing professional hockey. After his hockey career, he became a commodities trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where he made the money to enter the entertainment business. He then moved into the entertainment industry in production.
  He played for six Western Hockey League teams, including the Portland Winter Hawks, the Great Falls Americans, the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Brandon Wheat Kings. In Medicine Hat, he was a teammate of future NHL goaltender Kelly Hrudey. His best year was 1980–81; he scored 28 goals for the Spokane Flyers and was a teammate of future NHL defenseman Ken Daneyko. He also participated in the 1981 US Olympic Festival, which was part of evaluation process for the 1984 US Olympic Hockey Team.

  Until the middle of the 19th century, there were no organized and/or well-established army nursing systems for casualties and no safe and protected institutions to accommodate and treat those who were wounded on the battlefield. In June 1859, the Swiss businessman Jean-Henri Dunant traveled to Italy to meet French emperor Napoléon III with the intention of discussing difficulties in conducting business in Algeria, at that time occupied by France. When he arrived in the small town of Solferino on the evening of June 24, he witnessed the Battle of Solferino, an engagement in the Austro-Sardinian War. In a single day, about 40,000 soldiers on both sides died or were left wounded on the field. Jean-Henri Dunant was a shocked by the terrible aftermath of the battle, the suffering of the wounded soldiers, and the near-total lack of medical attendance and basic care. He completely abandoned the original intent of his trip and for several days he devoted himself to helping with the treatment and care for the wounded.   Nowell Rhys Fulber is a Canadian electronic musician and producer. He was a member of Front Line Assembly and Delerium along with Bill Leeb, and now records on his own under the name Conjure One.
  Rhys Fulber was born in Vancouver, Canada on October 10, 1970. His father was born in Germany and his mother was from Great Britain. He was exposed to the music of Led Zeppelin and Kraftwerk through his musician father (who took him along to see Kraftwerk live in 1975) and with instruments always in the house, started drumming at a very early age. His father later built and ran a recording studio, catering toward the local punk rock scene where Rhys spent a lot of time. In 1984 Rhys started becoming more interested in electronic music and got his first synthesizer. In 1986, he became friends with Bill Leeb who had just left his former band Skinny Puppy.
  Fulber's first involvements in Front Line Assembly were one song on their debut album Total Terror, and then three songs on The Initial Command. He also contributed to Delerium's debut album, Faces, Forms & Illusions. During this time he started the band Will together with Chris Peterson, John McRae and Jeff Stoddard, which lasted from 1987 to 1992.

  Shawnee Smith was born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, the second child of Patricia, an oncology nurse, and Jim Smith, a financial planner and former US Air Force pilot. The family relocated from South Carolina to Van Nuys, California, when she was a year old; the parents divorced when she was two; and her mother remarried when she was eight. She attended Ranchito Avenue Elementary School in Panorama City, California. She also attended North Hollywood High School in North Hollywood, California and graduated in 1987.
  Smith began acting as a child appearing on stage in A Christmas Carol repertory from ages 8 to 11 and starred in a stage play with Richard Dreyfuss at age 15. She also performed in the original stage production of To Gillian on Her 37th Birthday and won the Dramalogue Critics Award for her performance. She was the youngest actor up to that time to receive such an honor. She made her television debut in a McDonald's commercial titled "Best Friends" in 1978.   Stephen Holden (born July 18, 1941) is an American writer, music critic, film critic, and poet.
  Holden earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Yale University in 1963. He worked as a photo editor, staff writer, and eventually became an A&R executive for RCA Records before turning to writing pop music reviews and related articles for Rolling Stone, Blender, The Village Voice, The Atlantic, and Vanity Fair, among other publications. He first achieved prominence with his 1970s Rolling Stone work, where he tended to cover singer songwriter and traditional pop artists. He joined the staff of the New York Times in 1981, and subsequently became one of the newspaper's leading theatre and film critics.
  Holden's experiences as a journalist and executive with RCA led him to write the satirical novel Triple Platinum, which was published by Dell Books in 1980.   Bell was born in Queens, New York and raised in Weymouth, Massachusetts. His English-born mother, Eileen Bell Tobin, is an actress who worked at the Quincy Repertory Company. His father, Joseph H. Tobin (December 19, 1912—September 2, 1977), built and established the radio station WJDA in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1947 and once ran for mayor of Gloversville, New York. Bell has one sister and one brother. Bell studied liberal arts and journalism in college, with the intention of becoming a writer and entering the broadcasting field. He also has an interest in environmental matters, holding a master's degree in environmental science from Montclair State University as well as having worked for the New York Botanical Garden.
