BLACKS PEOPLE ARE HEBREWS BANTUS FROM JACOB
Not all blacks are hebrews, only bantus. There are 5 races in Africa, you have , nomadic desert Bedouins (arabs), berberes (bar abbas, Moabites : sons of fathers) , cushites( afar, bushmen, pygmies) , nilotics (Canaanites, luo (obama'dad), massai, Tutsis, Ethiopians, somaliens, tall with European hairs and nose)obama is an hamite. Then u have bayithu, or bantus( lemba, hutus, bacongo, yoruba, igbo, makua, bassa...), only Bantus suffered slavery, the word Bantus derives from Hebrew word bayithu-ELAH (usually bayit בַּיִת : house of God Genesis 29:16-19 ). When Bantus came to Africa, they controlled west and east south Africa, they took the forest to pygmies, to avoid the spreadin'ISLAM those from west, joined Bantus GALA, in the forest, (a shield against Muslims horses) they called themselves bar kongo, or bakongo, derives from " kongolo" is a town in Tanganyika Province in RDC. U can google it. So Bantus had KONGOLO in Mali, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Luanda :The word "kongolo" anciently "koungelo" derives from 2 hebrew words, you have "kun" meaning כּוּן establish and "giloh" גִּלֹה ( gelo, golo) means Exile, so the word KONGOLO, or KOUNGELO means set up in Exile, today became CONGO zabach All slaves were Bayithu or bantus, they came from (Republic of Congo, Democratic Republic of Congo and Angola): 39.4%,Southeastern Africa (Mozambique and Madagascar): 4.7%,Bight of Biafra (Nigeria east of the Niger Delta, Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon): Bantus slaves came ...

Son Palenque is a legendary afro-Colombian band, founded in the beginning of the 80’s in the city of Cartagena (Caribbean coast), by the singer and composer Justo Valdez. Since then, this 7-people band has recorded 8 LP’s of traditional Afro-Colombian music, mixed with African and psychedelic influences.
All their members come from San Basilio de Palenque, a very important village in the history of afro-Colombia. Palenque de San Basilio was founded by black maroons (running away from slavery), and has preserved many African traditions, like the Afro-Hispanic Creole language, the only one existing today in the Americas.
The musical traditions of Palenque are very close to the music of central Africa, and the Bantu area (Congo, Angola, Cameroon).
The music of Son Palenque has been reissued in the last years in Europe, in many compilations of Colombian and tropical music, as their music is very much appreciated by collectors and music lovers around the world.

“Being Black is not a matter of pigmentation – being Black is a reflection of a mental attitude.”
- Steve Bantu Biko, I Write What I Like, 1978
People of African descent reflect a multiplicity of skin tones and phenotypic characteristics. Often times, however, when met by people who self-identify as “Black,” but do not fit into a stereotypical model of Blackness, many of us not only question their identity, but challenge their Blackness, and thus our potential relationship to them. A creative presentation of historical documentation, personal memoirs, and portraiture, (1)ne Drop literally explores the “other” faces of Blackness – those who may not immediately be recognized, accepted, or embraced as “Black” in this visually racialized society. Through portrait documentaries (book and film), photography exhibitions, and public programming, the project intends to raise social awareness and spark community dialogue about the complexities of Blackness as both an identity and a lived reality.
(1)ne Drop seeks to challenge narrow, yet popular perceptions of what “Blackness” is and what “Blackness” looks like –- if we can recalibrate our lenses to see Blackness as a broader category of identity and experience, perhaps we will be able to see ourselves as part of a larger global community. In the end, (1)ne Drop hopes to awaken a long-overdue and much needed dialogue about racial identity and skin color politics.
GET INVOLVED!!
(1)ne Drop needs your support! And every “drop” counts! Here are a few ways that you can help:
PLEDGE
To date, (1)ne Drop has been largely self-funded. In 2010, Yaba Blay was awarded an Art & Change Grant by the Leeway Foundation through which she was able to initiate many of the project’s key components. However, in order to complete the project, we need your support. Please visit our Kickstarter campaign and pledge your donation today! We have until November 11 to raise at least $9000. We are offering a variety of incentives ranging from a public “thank you” on their website to a one-hour photoshoot with Noelle Théard. Please $upport!!!

RECOMMEND
Know someone who you think would be a great addition to the project? Let us know! We are particularly interested in connecting with:
men
children/teenagers
someone (male or female) from South Africa who in that context would be considered “Coloured”
someone (male or female) from Brasil
a woman with albinism
At this time, interviews and portraiture are limited to individuals who live in the United States.
LEND YOUR VOICE
Does this project speak to you on a personal level? Agree? Disagree? Interested in sharing your thoughts and perspective? We would love to include your voice in our blog! Please send your essay/story to the producers at info@1nedrop.com for consideration. Essays/stories should be limited to 1000 words or less. MAWE
Mawe means mother in the African Bantu languages. Albert is a local musician here in Burundi, Africa. He wrote this song for his mum who was killed in the genocide. In this Video Albert Kulu performs his song to all those mums who sacrifice their lives for their children. Albert is a teacher by trade, and does music (his true passion) on the side. Because it's almost impossible to make a living in music in countries like Burundi, Albert plays when he can at local venues, and works at a Belgium School here in Bujumbura, the capital of Burundi. I'm helping Albert get his songs out there for people to here. Currently we put his music on Amazon and Itunes. If you search "Albert Kulu" you'll find his cd and mp3's. Born in Rwanda and living in Burundi, Albert Kulu considers music as a way to celebrate peace and reconcile people. The video was shot in a village near Bujumbura, where he used to live, with his aunt (on the second guitar) and his sister.
