Pro DSLR + Cheapo Lens vs "Cheapo" DSLR + Pro Lens
We got sent a question asking us: What would be better? A pro DSLR with a cheapo lens or a cheapo DSLR with an expensive lens? Well, we thought we'd answer that question in this video by asking two very different photographers to show us what they're like. We tested the Canon 1D Mark IV with a Sigma 28-300mm f/something and a Canon 550D with a 24-70mm f/2.8L. What produces better results? Watch the video to find out. How To Apply Contact Lenses
The lenses I use are coloured contacts, NOT for my vision. They're meant for cosplaying, dressing up or just a one-off. They are not meant to be worn constantly. You should ALWAYS check with an optician before purchasing lenses just to make sure they're ok. If you have a history of eye problems, if your eyes are different shapes, of if the lenses just don't feel right DO NOT USE THEM. Always keep your tools clean. I always wash the tweezers after using them and make sure that the lens cases are super clean. I learned at lot of new tips and tricks for this video from Earaness, check him out his makeup is awesome!: www.youtube.com I've said this in the video but I just want to say it again, ALWAYS check with an optician before doing anything with your eyes. -------------------------------------------------------------- Where else to find me: Website/Blog: www.klairedelys.com Twitter twitter.com Facebook Page: www.facebook.com My second Channel: www.youtube.com Deviant Art Account: klairedelys.deviantart.com Google+ : plus.google.com Tumblr: klairedelys.tumblr.com -------------------------------------------------------------- What I used: -Contact lenses (single colour grey): www.funkylenses.co.uk -Lens Tweezers can be found on e-Bay :) -(And for those of you asking the earrings here is the seller I bought them from): www.ebay.co.uk Just as a precaution I'm going to paste the FAQ's from the contact lens company I buy my lenses from: Soak your ...

Canon Lens Production 1
Making of Canon L Series 500mm F4L IS USM. Part 1 of 3 in the production of expensive camera gear. L series is Canon's Premium lens line featuring fluorite lenses. IS refers to Image Stabilzation build into the lens, and USM refers to Ultrasonic Motor drive that makes focusing faster than older systems. Currently I'm using a Rebel XT, although I'm thinking of upgrading to an XTi or 5DMk2. This 500 with the New 5D would be a sweet combination. www.razorfantasygirls.com

Yes - Into the Lens
Into the Lens by Yes Steve Howe, Alan White, Chris Squire, Trevor Horn & Geoff Downes Memories, how they fade so fast Look back, that is no escape Tied down, now you see too late. Lovers, they will never wait. I am a camera Take heart, I could never let you go And you, always let the feeling show Love us all, how you never broke your heart You lose them If you feel the feeling start. I am a camera, camera, camera And you, may find time will blind you This to just remind you All is meant to be. There, by the waterside Here, where the lens is wide You and me By the sea Taken in tranquility. Taken, taken so easily To pass into glass reality Transform, to transfer, to energy. Taken, taken, so easily To pass into glass reality Transformer, transferring energy.

5200mm Canon Lens World's MOST powerful Super telephoto EF FD (updated upload)
READ!! Canon 5200mm F14 Prime Lens. The world's largest dedicated SLR Super Telephoto lens. Extremely rare. Made in Japan. Most probably a government ordered cold war spy tool - it certainly wasn't designed to just look at the stars with the use of it's ND filters... It uses a mirror & lens combination. The front lens is massive. Rear drop-in filters can be used. •Focal Length: 5150mm •Exposure Control: Light quantity is controlled with the use of built-in ND filters, corresponding to f/14, f/16, f/22, f/32 •Minimum Object Distance: 120 meters (Approx 393 feet!) •Size: 500mm(wide) x 600mm(high) x 1890mm(deep) [20x24x75.6] •Weight: 100kg (220 lbs) without stand. From a Canon Flyer: "This is the only ultra-telephoto lens in the world capable of taking photographs of objects 18 to 32 miles away (30km to 52kms away). Having a focal length of 5200mm, Canon Mirror Lens 5200mm can obtain one hundred times as large an object image as that of a 50mm lens." "For focusing this mounted or fixed lens on an extremely distant object, two aiming telescopes are set on the side of the lens barrel, and the entire lens is placed on a rigid stand which rotates smoothly. Minimizing the overall length had been a big problem in designing this lens. However, the Catadioptric system that is applied to the other two Canon mirror lenses (Canon 800mm f3.8 & 2000mm f11) has succeeded in reducing it down to one third of the nominal focal length. In general focal length and optical aberration increase ...

Nikon D800 D-Movies - Through The Lens
Multi-Area Mode Full HD D-Movie -- Recording Movies Using One Of Two Formats The D800 records movies with superior resolution through optimal information processing acquired from the 36.3-million pixel image sensor. Users can record 1920 × 1080p/30-fps full-HD movies using either the FX-based movie format or the DX-based movie format according to shooting conditions. The FX-based movie format offers a shallow depth-of-field with an emphasis on blur characteristics, while the DX-based movie format brings subjects closer when lenses with short focal lengths are used. The camera is also equipped with a headphone jack and supports precise adjustment of microphone sensitivity. In addition, users can play back movies or view the live recording of movies simultaneously via the camera's monitor and on an external monitor. The D800 also responds to the needs of professionals who require uncompressed movie files; professional users can link the movie live view mode to an external HDMI monitor, as well as record movies simultaneously onto an external device via the HDMI link. Nikon's newest digital SLR camera also features a time-lapse photography function that captures images at a selected interval and then combines the images to create a time-lapse movie. A time-lapse movie shows the changes in a particular scene that occur over time. I AM THE DIRECTOR iam.nikon-asia.com Cinematography by Andrzej Sekula Directed by Cellin Gluck
