Bitton is a village and civil parish in South Gloucestershire, England, in the Greater Bristol area on the River Boyd.
It is in the far south of the South Gloucestershire district, near the border with Bath and North East Somerset. The parish of Bitton has a population of 9,307, and apart from the village itself, includes Swineford, Upton Cheyney, Beach and part of Willsbridge, and some areas which are suburbs of Bristol, including Oldland Common and North Common.
Bitton is the birthplace of author Dick King Smith and actress Richenda Carey, home to artist Kate Ward and television presenter Noel Edmonds. The Grange, by St Mary's Church, was once the home of Jane, one of the wives of Henry VIII.
The A431 road runs through the village. Beyond Bitton the road routes north-west to Willsbridge and south-east to Kelston. The heritage Avon Valley Railway terminates at Bitton railway station. The National Cycle Network Bristol & Bath Railway Path runs alongside the railway.
Bitton A.F.C. are the local football team. Their ground is immediately south of the A431, just west of the village.

Ryan Lewis (born March 25, 1988) is an American music producer, musician, music video director, photographer, graphic designer, rapper and DJ currently based in Seattle. He is best known for his collaboration with American rapper Macklemore (Ben Haggerty) producing Macklemore & Ryan Lewis — The VS. EP (2009), The Heist (2012) and a handful of other singles. Since the beginning of their collaboration in late 2008, Ryan has produced, recorded, engineered and mixed all of the music, directed music videos ("Same Love", "Thrift Shop", "And We Danced", "Otherside (Remix)"), designed visuals (album art, web design, posters) and DJed the live show.
In a recent mini-documentary, Lewis recalled meeting Macklemore for the first time. "When I met him, it was a really different time. It was less than a year after [2005's] Language of My World had come out. So he had buzz. For me being a young kid, it was very exciting to link with him. The bulk of our original relationship was photo shoots. I became kind of his photographer."[1]

Is it time to accept
Is it time to smile and rest
Is that all there is
Is it time to believe
In a theory of destinies
If it's true that the end
is nothing but
"this"
I trust it
Time to say "I'm only human"
You think it might be too late
But it's never even been time
Realize now that the ice
is meant to melt
And no one feels sorry
For the good times
Is it time to accept
Shall we smile and rest
Is it meant to be like this
If it's meant to be like this
Where has it gone again?
There was something beautiful
That I can't spot
Anymore
You say "everything's the same"
Guess I must have been shadowboxing
I hope you don't mind if I fade out here
For a little while
The music will not end
Before my pain has stopped
So I'll keep dancing
Keep dancing on my own
I'll keep dancing
All alone
Untill you notice
Something's lost in us
And the music will not end
Before your pain has stopped!
So we'll keep dancing
Keep dancing by ourselves
I'll keep dancing
Keep dancing
You'll keep dancing
Keep dancing
Uncernerned
Untill you notice
Land of dust
I have slept with your lullaby
Dreaming of hope and trust
Oh how meaningless even the thought of it
How absurd the idea of the pain of longing
When the whole world is struggling
We trade our times
We're selling minds
That's the newest trend
To survive
(Will you survive?)
Do you have something to complain?
Do you dare to mention your personal pain?
Don't you see that the whole world's gone insane?
Ain't it nice to suffer a comfortable pain!
Centuries of thoughts
Medecines for any of your moods
From "upset" to "regret"
Everthing is set
To serve you comfortable pain
Do you have something to complain?
Do you dare to mention your personal pain?
Don't you see that the whole world's gone in-
Do you have something to complain?
Do you dare to mention your personal pain?
Don't you see that the whole world's gone in-
Do you have something to complain?
Do you dare to mention your personal pain?
Dont't you see that the whole world's gone insane?
