Silent cry of the Boer
"Give me 20 divisions American soldiers and I will breach Europe. Give me 15 consisting of Englishmen, and I will advance to the borders of Berlin. Give me two divisions of those marvellous fighting Boers (Meaning Farmer, originating from the Boer War) and I will remove Germany from the face of the earth." Field Marshal Bernard L. Montgomery, Commander of the Allied forces during WWII. "The Americans fight for a free world, the English mostly for honour and glory and medals, the French and Canadians decide too late that they have to participate. The Italians are too scared to fight; the Russians have no choice. The Germans for the Fatherland. The Boers? Those sons of bitches fight for the hell of it." American General, George "Guts and Glory" Patton "Take a community of Dutchmen of the type of those who defended themselves for fifty years against all the power of Spain at a time when Spain was the greatest power in the world. Intermix with them a strain of those inflexible French Huguenots, who gave up their name and left their country forever at the time of the revocation of the Edict of Nantes. The product must obviously be one of the most rugged, virile, unconquerable races ever seen upon the face of the earth. Take these formidable people and train them for seven generations in constant warfare against savage men and ferocious beasts, in circumstances in which no weakling could survive; place them so that they acquire skill with weapons and in horsemanship, give them ...

1856 The Boer Republics
The Boer Republics (sometimes also referred to as Boer states) were independent self-governed republics created by the Dutch-speaking (proto Afrikaans) inhabitants of the Cape of Good Hope and their descendants (variously named Trekboers, Boers and Voortrekkers, but today collectively known as Afrikaners) in mainly the northern and eastern parts of what is now the country of South Africa. Although some of these republics were already founded from 1795 onwards during the period of Dutch colonial rule at the Cape, most of these states were established after Britain took over from the Netherlands as the colonial power at the Cape of Good Hope. Subsequently a number of its Dutch-speaking (proto-Afrikaans often called "die taal") inhabitants trekked inland in 1835 in order to escape British administrative control in a movement that became known as the Great Trek. Several of these states were established after military defeats of the indigenous population by the Voortrekkers/Boers by virtue of their technologically superior weaponry. The Voortrekker usually skirted the most densely populated areas, trekking into largely depopulated areas which were the result of the Mfecane or Difaqane initiated by the Zulu King Shaka in the 1820s. When the Voortrekkers encountered locally established groups/nations, they tended to opt to negotiate, turning to warfare only when attacked. The Voortrekkers under the leadership of Piet Retief obtained a treaty from the Zulu King Dingane to settle ...

Stop the Boer genocide! Demonstration in Stockholm.
The protest march by the Swedish Resistance Movement, under the slogan Stop the Boer Genocide!, took place in Stockholm on Saturday 17th of April, without any major disturbances. Following here is a brief report on the event. Once gathered, participants flanked the street with flags, a banderole, shields and signs. Both the Resistance Movement´s own flags, as well as the Vierkleur flag was represented. The banderole read Stop the Boer genocide! and the signs showed a portrait of the murdered leader of the AWB, Eugéne TerreBlanche, who was honoured today as well. Kristian Nordvall - a member of the Resistance Movement - held an emotional speech in which he spoke about the importance of the protest, about the reality in South Africa, and about how we must bring attention to the ongoing genocide, which politicians and the media ignores.

Delarey - Boer War
This is for the pride of the Afrikaaner Nation. General De la Rey was a Boer General in South Africa who led his brave boers in battle against the invading British Empire. The odds were staggering 80 000 boers to 350 000 british Soldiers. The Boers held out to the bitter end. The British held thousands of Boer women and children in the first ever concentration camps. The British forced the Boers to surrender as they starved their women and children - only for the Boers to return to their torched farms without many of their murdered family. A Salute to the men who fought for my right to be here in South Africa today. "Ons Vir Jou Suid Africa"

War Footage from 1899 (The Boer War)
Boer War Footage (1899). This montage is from the second Anglo-Boer War which was fought between the British Empire and the Afrikaans-speaking Dutch settlers of two independent Boer republics, the South African Republic and the Orange Free State. It ended with the conversion of the Boer republics into British colonies. There is not much footage of the battle itself but this is still rare footage.
