PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION and help her get justice and her rightful life back. Sign and spread the word. petitions.halabol.com On April 22, 2003, Sonali Mukherjee was severely injured in an acid attack, that left her with a burnt face, burnt body, blind and partially deaf. She was just 17-years-old then. Three assailants -- Tapas Mitra, Sanjay Paswan, and Bhrahmadev Hajra, her neighbors in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, poured acid on her while she slept. Before she could realize, her body was melting and she soon collapsed. The accused were immediately taken into custody, but were released on bail in 2006. She and her father approached the high court, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, MPs and various other authorities for justice, but no one listened. Since then, the accused are roaming scot-free. For 9-years she has been fighting a case against them and requesting the authorites to cancle their bail, but with no success in her favor. She has been in extreme pain since the incident, and doesn't have the capacity to withhold it anymore - neither the money nor the hope. Therefore, today, she demands either justice and help in treatment or permission to end her life. She has created this petition - petitions.halabol.com - to gather maximum signatures in her support and her fight for justice. After saving two worlds, the members of the Justice League decide to take a break to celebrate the holidays. Flash spends his Christmas Eve with the children of an orphanage, who ask that he find them a special animated toy duck. The popular toy is broken by the Ultra-Humanite, who eventually comes around and helps Flash. Green Lantern and Hawkgirl show each other how they spend the holidays. Lantern engages in a snowball fight with Hawkgirl. Hawkgirl reciprocates by starting an interplanetary barroom brawl. Batman spends Christmas on Watchtower duty; Wonder Woman is not mentioned at all. Meanwhile, Superman invites J'onn over to Smallville for Christmas Eve with his parents. Although J'onn is initially uncomfortable, he eventually learns to enjoy Christmas. For this piece I worked with our crew at http://camp4collective.com to tell http://thenorthface.com athlete Jimmy Chin's http://jimmychin.com story as he in turn highlights modern day climbing in Yosemite for a National Geographic feature story.
It seemed so serendipitous to be 'on assignment' in a place that we all cut out teeth as adventurers and which also ended up becoming the namesake of our collective!

The front cover depicts the statue of Lady Justice cracked, bound by ropes, her breasts exposed, and both of her scales filled with dollars. The words "...And Justice for All" are written in graffiti-like lettering to the right. The cover art was created by Stephen Gorman, based on a concept developed by James Hetfield and Lars Ulrich. ...And Justice for All was Metallica's final collaboration with longtime producer Flemming Rasmussen.
