Beith Juniors Football Club are a junior football club operating in Beith, Scotland. They compete in the West of Scotland Super League Premier Division, having been promoted as runners-up in the First Division in 2013–14, and play at Bellsdale Park.
Formed in 1938, they play in black and white strips (uniforms) and their nicknames are the Cabes or the Mighty. They were formed as a junior football successor to the disbanded senior side Beith, who had previously competed in the Scottish Football League.
During the 2010–11 season, Beith entered the Scottish Cup at the first round stage after qualifying as champions of the West of Scotland Super League Premier Division. In the first round they defeated Linlithgow Rose 2–0 and Glasgow University 8–1 in the second round. In the third round they faced Second Division Airdrie United and led 2–0 with ten minutes remaining of the tie at the Excelsior Stadium, before full-back Marc McShane was red carded. Paul Lovering scored from the resulting cross and Jamie Bain equalised in injury time. Beith were then defeated 4–3 in the replay at Bellsdale Park.

Beith is a small town situated in the Garnock Valley, North Ayrshire, Scotland approximately 20 miles (30 kilometres) south-west of Glasgow. The town is situated on the crest of a hill and was known originally as the "Hill o' Beith" (hill of the birches) after its Court Hill.
Beith's name is thought to emanate from Ogham, which is sometimes referred to as the "Celtic Tree Alphabet", ascribing names of trees to individual letters. Beithe in Old Irish means Birch-tree (cognate to Latin betula). There is reason to believe that the whole of the district was covered with woods. The town of Beith itself was once known as 'Hill of Beith' as this was the name of the feudal barony and was itself derived from the Court Hill near Hill of Beith Castle.
The Wood of Beit, now the 'Moor of Beith', has been identified as an Arthurian site where according to Taliessin in a poem under the name of 'Canowan' it was the site of a battle in the wood of Beit at the close of the day.
The Scottish Football Association Challenge Cup, commonly known as the Scottish Cup, is an annual association football knock-out cup competition for men's football clubs in Scotland. The competition was first held in 1873–74. Entry is open to all clubs with full or associate membership of the Scottish Football Association (SFA). The competition is called the William Hill Scottish Cup for sponsorship reasons.
The trophy that is presented to the winner of the competition is the oldest in association football and is also the oldest national trophy in the world. It was first presented to Queen's Park, who won the final match of the inaugural tournament in March 1874. The current holder is Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who won the tournament for the first time by defeating Falkirk 2–1 in the 2015 final.
The tournament starts at the beginning of the Scottish football season in August or September. The Scottish Cup Final is usually the last game of the season, taking place at the end of May. Participating teams enter the tournament at different stages depending on their league ranking. The lowest ranked clubs enter the tournament at the first round whilst the highest ranked, those that compete in the Scottish Premiership, enter at the fourth round stage.
