Introduction to Gimp 2.7 for Photoshop Expatriates
This is a little whirlwind tour of the Gimp 2.7 development release with an eye towards acclimating Photoshop users to the Gimp environment. We go over things such as the FX-Foundry plugin, the Gimp Paint Studio plugin, keyboard shortcuts, brush dynamics, and various UI tweaks that will hopefully make Photoshop users feel more at home with the Gimp. If you have any questions about what's covered in this video, the Gimp, or how to do something in the Gimp that you do in Photoshop, please drop me a comment and I'll try to do a screencast demo for you.

Somaliland Expatriates Return Home to Help Native Land
Somaliland Expatriates Return Home to Help Native Land Develop, Somaliland lies on the Gulf of Aden, a self-declared independent republic since breaking with Somalia 17 years ago. It has its own government, army, police and other institutions, but it is still not recognized by the international community. Despite this, the capital Hargeisa and other places are expanding rapidly. This is largely due to Somalilanders returning from the United States and other countries and bringing their skills and money with them. Cathy Majtenyi has more.

Some Bangladeshi expatriate Monkeys, Part # 7
Some funny and weird Bangladeshi expatriates, who claims themselves community leaders, are arguing (fighting) over the control of a student-less Bangladeshi school in Sydney. The VDO was taken on Sunday the 27th March 2006. The participants, so-called leaders, are Gama (from Dhaka), Mustaq (from Barisal), Harun (from Barisal), Khaleda Begum (Principal of the so-called BD School, from Noakhali), her husband Kaiser Ahmed (from Dhaka), Faruk Ahmed Khan (a nice guy from Dhaka) and Shamsuzzaman (from nowhere). What a shocking episode for our expatriate community, what a shame!!! EVERYBODY IS NOW SICK OF BANGLADESHI ASSOCIATION IN SYDNEY. THERE ARE STILL SOME ASSO: EXISTS WHICH R BASICALLY HOME BASED ORGANISATION AND RUN BY SOME ALIKE MINDED (of same profession) PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS.
