Flash Mob celebrating Delhi's Centennial Year as the National Capital at DLF Promenade
On 11 December 2011, Delhi completed 100 Years as the National Capital of India. Divya Dureja, a college student, brought together a group of young Delhiites (students as well as working professionals) to show some love to their city! On 30 December, 2011 at DLF Promenade, a Flash Mob in its true essence took the crowd by surprise. The medley to which they danced was an ensemble of songs pertaining to Delhi's issues, diversity and fun. Hope we did justice to the Occasion! Havana, Cuba Travel Guide - Visit Capitolio in Havana
Take a tour of Havana's Capitolio in Cuba -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats. The National Capitol building in Havana, popularly known as El Capitolio, housed the nation's legislative branch until the Cuban Revolution in 1959. The building, known for its sophisticated and impressive design was the brainchild of the Cuban dictator Gerardo Machado. Built in neo-classical style, this monument instantly reminds one of the US Capitol but its architect insists that it was the Panthéon in Paris that was his source of inspiration for the cupola. This building of great national significance took years to be constructed and was inaugurated on May 20th 1929. It was 2 years later, in 1931, that the legislature began operating out of El Capitolio. Today, the building is famously known as it holds the headquarters of the Cuban Academy of Sciences.

BUMP! - Ottawa
Picturesque Ottawa is Canada's national capital, and is renowned for its festivals. We find out about the 3 million bulbs in bloom at the Tulip Festival, the brilliant fireworks of the annual Canada Day Celebration, and Winterlude, where thousands don skates and glide down the Rideau Canal. Fitness and nature buffs will be hooked as we go rollerblading on Ottawa's vast network of scenic pathways, and then visit the Gatineau parks, with its hundreds of kilometres of trails for hiking and mountain biking and five pristine lakes where you can canoe and camp. Thrill seekers will get their fix as the Bump! crew hurtles down the Ottawa River with the folks from Owl Rafting. Elaina Martin gives us an overview of The Rock City Women's Fest that takes place every August, celebrating womens' achievements in music and the arts. Then we visit with some notable locals, including activist Bruce Bursey of The Wellness Project, addressing LGBT health concerns, Arthur Jamieson of Act Out, a gay theatre group and artist Carl Stewart, who makes a political statement with his erotic tapestries. Bump! shows viewers some of the many options for the gay tourist, including numerous gay-owned and gay-friendly accommodations, restaurants, shops and boutiques, the new Splash circuit party, and several happening bars and clubs.

Reykjavik, Iceland
Recorded September 6, 2008. Reykjavík is the capital and largest city of Iceland. Its latitude at 64°08' N makes it the world's most northern national capital. It is located in southwestern Iceland, on the southern shore of Faxaflói Bay. With a population of around 120000 (and over 200000 in the Greater Reykjavik Area) it is the heart of Iceland's economic and governmental activity. As a highly modernized capital of one of the most developed countries in the world, its inhabitants enjoy a first-class welfare system and city infrastructure. Its location, only slightly south of the Arctic Circle, receives only four hours of daylight on the shortest day in the depth of winter; during the summer the nights are almost as bright as the days. The video begins as we sail into the Reykjavik harbour on the Sea Princess. After disembarking the ship most of my time was spent outside the city and there was no time to see much of the city itself. So this video is limited to what I could see from the bus window as we drove through the town. We did get to stop briefly at one place in town, Perlan (English: The Pearl). It is 84.3 feet high. Perlan is situated on the hill Öskjuhlíð where there had been hot water storage tanks for decades. In 1991 the tanks were updated and a hemispherical structure placed on top. There is a viewing deck on the fourth floor where you get a nice view of the city. The video concludes as we sail away on the Sea Princess. From: timvp.com

Egypt - Cairo -- مصر القاهرة الساحرة الساهرة أم الدنيا
Egypt - Cairo ( The land of beauty & The world's mother ) -(مصر القاهرة (القاهرة الساهرة الساحرة أم الدنيا en.wikipedia.org Cairo (Arabic: القاهرة al-Qāhira, literally "The Victorious") is the capital of Egypt, and the largest city in Africa, and the Arab World, as well as one of the most densely-populated cities in the world.[1][2] Nicknamed "The City of a Thousand Minarets" for its preponderance of Islamic architecture, Cairo has long been a center of the region's political and cultural life. Even before Cairo was established in the tenth century, the land composing the present-day city was the site of national capitals whose remnants remain visible in parts of Old Cairo. Cairo is also associated with Ancient Egypt due to its proximity to the Great Sphinx and the pyramids in adjacent Giza. Egyptians today often refer to Cairo as Maṣr (Arabic: مصر), the Egyptian Arabic pronunciation of the name for Egypt itself, emphasizing the city's continued role in Egyptian influence. Cairo has the oldest and largest film and music industries in the Arab World, as well as the world's second-oldest institution of higher learning, al-Azhar University. Many international media, businesses, and organizations have regional headquarters in the city, and the Arab League has been based in Cairo for most of its existence. With a population of 6.8 million[3] spread over 214 square kilometers (83 sq mi), Cairo is by far the largest city in Egypt. With an additional ten million inhabitants ...

Miss Thailand 1954-2009 in Miss Universe Tribute part 1
Miss Thailand (Thai: นางสาวไทย) is Thailand's most prestigious beauty pageant for single Thai women. It was first held on December 10, 1934 in Phra Nakorn province or The National Capital, under the name of Miss Siam (Thai: นางสาวสยาม). Miss Thailand is nothing to do with Miss Thailand World and Miss Thailand Universe. The winner of Miss Thailand used to represent the country at Miss Universe, while 1st runner-up presented at Miss Asia Pacific International. The beauty pageant has been broadcast on BBTV (channel 7) until 2000, then moved to ITV, which later was transformed into TITV (Thailand Independent Television) and TPBS (Thailand Public Broadcasting Service). The 2009 Miss Thailand beauty pageant is going to held on October 28, 2009. Modern Nine TV is the broadcastor. Panprapa Yongtrakul, Miss Thailand 2008, will pass the titleholder to the new Miss Thailand.
