The Non-Violence World Organization (Free Muslim) has demanded the United Nations to take full legal and moral responsibility over the anti-humanitarian attacks taking place in Yemen. The organization stressed the necessity of ending the war as the attacks mainly target innocent civilians amidst the silence of international community. Since the Saudi aggression began last month, more than 600 people are estimated to have been killed. Many more have been wounded, and tens of thousands have fled the country. Last week, UNICEF said that at least 74 children are known to have been killed and 44 children injured since the war was launched on March 26. 4.. Chairman of al-Baghdadi district in the Iraqi province of Anbar, Mal Allah al-Obeidi announced the destruction of four boats belonging to IS while trying to sneak into the district. He said that a force of the army was able to destroy four boats carrying IS terrorists while trying to cross Euphrates River to al-Baghdadi district, 90 km west of Ramadi. He added that the security forces managed to kill the ISIS elements after clashing with them. 5.. A religious leader in Egypt in ridiculous remarks has claimed that Shiite Muslims do not say Friday Prayers or Congregational Prayers. Egyptian Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Sheikh Sabri Ibadah made ridiculous remarks in an interview with an Egyptian TV Channel showing his depth of ignorance of Shia beliefs, claiming that Shia Muslims believe that Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and Holy Prophet Muhammad share the Prophethood. Following his ridiculous remarks he said that Shia Muslims do not have such thing as Friday Prayers or congregational prayers for they await their Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his re-appearance. He then claimed that Shia Muslims do not follow Islamic doctrines. In the past years with the rising influence of Wahabisim in Egypt, every once in a while such anti-Shia remarks are stated by religious leaders of Egypt which arouse the reaction of Muslim community. 6.. The calligraphy exhibition "Ishq-i-Nebi" (Love of the Prophet), has been re-opened at the Hagia Sophia museum in Istanbul, Turkey. The art collection, which features 63 works of Turkey's master and junior calligraphers along with international names and female artists, showcases hadiths, verses from the Quran and quotes written in various calligraphy styles such as Kufic, Muhaqqaq, Thuluth, Diwani, Rayhani, Naskh and Ta'liq. It was previously on display in New York and Cuba. The calligraphy collection can be seen until June 10. Ishq-ı Nebi was also on display at the Hagia Sophia last year. 7.. A new research suggests that exposure to artificial light while sleeping may increase our risk of a host of conditions, from obesity to diabetes and depression . A scientific report from the European Commission concluded that exposure to light at night may be associated with an increased risk of breast cancer and also cause mood disorder and cardiovascular diseases. Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him and his progeny, reached the same result of the report 14 years ago by suggesting, in one of the hadiths, to turn off the lights while sleeping.
