Education: Received School education at Village Hussainabad and Khairpur Graduated in 1947 from Muslim University, Ali Garh (INDIA) Joined SM Law College Karachi in 1948 Service: Appointed directly as Mukhtiarkar in khairpur Estate in 1951. After merger of Khairpur Estate in one unit, served in Sindh Province in various capacities as • Mukhtiarkar, • Assistant Commissioner, • Deputy Commissioner, • Commissioner, • Secretary to Chief Minister. Worked as • Mukhtiarkar (Kotdiji, Moro, Nawab Shah and Rohri) from 1954 to 1962. • Assistant Commissioner Rohri, • Addl: Deputy Commissioner Jaccobabad and • Assistant Commissioner (General, Khairpur from 1964 to 1970 and was decorated with Tamgah-e-Khidmat by the President of Pakistan for meritorious since 1970. Khairpur District: Khairpur District (Sindhi: ضلع خیر پور) is a district in the Sindh province of Pakistan. The district has an area of 15910 square kilometres and is headquartered at the city of Khairpur. Location: Khairpur District is located in northern Sindh and is bounded on the north by Shikarpur and Sukkur, on the east by India, on the south by Sanghar and Nawabshah and on the west by Larkana and Naushahro Feroz and derives its name from the town. Demographics: According to the 1998 census of Pakistan, the district had a population of 1546587 of which 23.23% was urban.[1]. The average annual growth rate of the population is 2.71%. As per definition of Board of Revenue Sindh, a place of human habitation having at least ten houses is called a settlement. There are 1709 rural settlements in the district having population of 200 to 1000+ people. Following are the demographic indicators of the district as per the 1998 census of Pakistan (Hindus and Christians as well as Urdu speakers are mainly concentrated in the urban areas. Rohri Canal breached near Bakhar Jamali, Taluka New Saeedabad. More than 15 villages are under water. Thousands of people including women and children were evacuated in the last 48 hours. The flood water left thousands homeless destroyed crops and property worth millions of rupees. At the head regulator, the canal which is called Mini Indus discharges around 13000 cusecs of water. The breach occurred near Bakhar Jamali mori regulator. Initially the breach was 20 feet wide but later widened to 200 feet. The situation would improve after water flow in the canal was reduced from its head regulator at Sukkur Barrage. People including women, children and the elderly are forced to move to safe areas on foot as water is going to surround the entire Bhale Dino Kaka union council. Families rendered homeless by flood water were put in temporary camps set up mostly in schools and colleges of the new Saeedabad city and the situation becoming worse because thousands of families are lying at open spaces without having shelter, wash, medical services, food and other basic needs. Comrade Ghulam Hussain Shar was born in Village Mengho Fakir Shar, Tehsil Thari Mriwah, of District Khairpur Mirs- Sindh Pakistan. Comrade Completed his early Education from Thari Mirwah and then he went for the graduation to Government Islamia College Sukkur, the then college was affiliated with Sindh University @Hyderabad Now at Jamshoro. During the college politics he joined National Students Federation and then Joined Sindh Hari Committee. and served at different party Positions. He also organized Kisan Bazgar Committee in Balochistan Province. During the dark Martial Law Regime of Gel Zia he was arrested and sent jail, after his release he became under ground and lived in Balochistan where he organized Kisan Buzgar Committee. Comrade Ghulam Husain, was the first person in the area who supported the Girls Education and Encouraged the female literacy, female study to abroad. He fought for for the rights of poor class people. he made friends and allies all over the Pakistan. Bhagat Kanwar Ram was one of the great saint of Sindh, Produced in the Nineteenth Century. He was born in small village Called Jarvaran, Taluka Mir Pur Mathelo, District Sukkur in 1885 AD He used to help his father and brother on their shop of general merchandise. Sometimes, he used to till the land himself. After the death of his Guru and Perceptor Saint Satramdas in 1917 AD Kanwar Ram shifted bag and baggage to his Guru's Place. Kanwar Ram used to wear a long Kurta and a red 'Pagrri'. His lips were always lit up with a strange, beautiful smile. He was transformed into the image of his Guru. In humility and love, none could excel him. He sang shastriya-sangeet, though he had not taken any training in 'Ragas'. There was a magic in his voice. He was the TANSEN of Sindh.Even now, whenever his record is played, people dance with rhythm and acclaim him. Kanwar Ram was a picture of generosity and compassion. After holding his 'bhagat' (congregation), he used to raise his 'jholi' to collect money from the audience. This money was used, in its entirety, for distribution to the poor, the handicapped and, the widow. When Kanwar Ram was on his feet, dancing and singing, he got in communion with God.
