Rhonda Lea Vincent (born July 13, 1962) is an American bluegrass singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. In 2000, The Wall Street Journal proclaimed Vincent "the new Queen of Bluegrass".
Vincent's musical career began when she was a child in her family's band The Sally Mountain Show, and has spanned more than four decades. Vincent first achieved success in the bluegrass genre in the 1970s and '80s, earning the respect of her mostly male peers for her mastery of the progressive chord structures and multi-range, fast paced vocals intrinsic to bluegrass music. Vincent is an in-demand guest vocalist for other Bluegrass and Country music performers, appearing on recordings by Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, Tanya Tucker, Joe Diffie and other notables.
Dallas Frazier (born October 27, 1939) is an American country musician and songwriter who had success in the 1950s and 60s.
Frazier was born in Spiro, Oklahoma but was raised in Bakersfield, California. As a teenager, he played with Ferlin Husky and on the program Hometown Jamboree; and released his first single, "Space Command", at age 14 in 1954.
Frazier's 1957 song Alley Oop, later taken to #1 in the US by The Hollywood Argyles was his first hit. After Hometown Jamboree went off the air, Frazier moved to Nashville, Tennessee and found work as a songwriter. Among his early successes was "Timber I'm Falling", a hit for Husky in 1964, and There Goes My Everything, a big hit for Jack Greene in 1966.
In 1966 he released his solo debut album Elvira, containing his song Elvira. His follow-up Tell It Like It Is (1967), was also a success.
Long live the good old Bluegrass Music from the USA ! Thank you Rhonda, and god bless you !

Extracts from the Rhonda Vincent and the Rage concert in the Courtroom Theater at the McKinney Performing Arts Center in historic McKinney, Texas, January 23, 2016. Videoing from the front row was great except for making it impossible to get Hunter and Aaron both in the same frame, and not having a second camera recording a static view of the stage left me not having a way to cover my frantic panning in a few places (which is rather dizzying due to the short distance between my lens and the performers). Anyway, it was a pleasure being there, and an honor to present this compilation of clips to those who missed it, as well as for a delightful review for those of us who were there. It was an unusual concert, with Rhonda's daughter (Hunter's wife) Sally doing a great job of carrying vocals fo...

[Lyrics Rhonda Vincent - Crazy What a Lonely Heart Will Do] Take the blame off of me Put it on my lonely heart Guilty of still loving you Cause you left it all alone Its been looking for a home And its crazy what a lonely heart will do Like running to open arms like a love starved child Holding on to the memory of you Trying to ease the pain by running wild Ain't it crazy what a lonely heart will do So don't look down on me With those eyes that I love Only to show you disapprove 'Cause I'm doing my best It takes a lot to forget And its crazy what a lonely heart will do Like running to open arms like a love starved child Holding on to the memory of you Trying to ease the pain by running wild Ain't it crazy what a lonely heart will do Yeah its crazy what a lonel...

"I met a soldier, on the base at Fort Hood.
I said, 'how do you do it?'
He said, 'there's bad with the good.'
And no matter how tough it gets,
The soldier stands strong.
Keeping our family, flag and country free,
And righting the wrong.
I met a soldier, she was thanking me.
At first it was strange to hear,
Then I started to see.
What it meant to have someone
Appreciate her sacrifice,
And everything she gives for us,
Defending our rights.
-CHORUS-
God bless the soldier
As they walk the streets.
Let them know how much it means
To have them keep our country free.
When you meet a soldier, stand and salute.
Take a moment to show your love
for everything that they do.
Don't be afraid, give them your praise.
For this is the stranger that is willing
To give their life for you.
God bless the soldier."
