Urban Regeneration in Bradford City Centre - 9th June, 2012 (1080 HD)
Bradford lies at the heart of the City of Bradford, a metropolitan borough of West Yorkshire, in Northern England. It is situated in the foothills of the Pennines, 8.6 miles (13.8 km) west of Leeds, and 16 miles (25.7 km) northwest of Wakefield. Bradford became a municipal borough in 1847, and received its charter as a city in 1897. Following local government reform in 1974, city status was bestowed upon the wider metropolitan borough. Bradford has a population of 293717, making it the fourteenth-most populous settlement in the United Kingdom. Bradford forms part of the West Yorkshire Urban Area conurbation which in 2001 had a population of 1.5 million and is part of the Leeds-Bradford Larger Urban Zone (LUZ), the third largest in the UK after London and Manchester, with an estimated population in the 2004 Urban Audit of 2.4 million. Historically a part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, Bradford rose to prominence during the 19th century as an international centre of textile manufacture, particularly wool. It was a boomtown of the Industrial Revolution, and amongst the earliest industrialised settlements, rapidly becoming the "wool capital of the world". The area's access to a supply of coal, iron ore and soft water facilitated the growth of Bradford's manufacturing base, which, as textile manufacture grew, led to an explosion in population and was a stimulus to civic investment; Bradford has fine Victorian architecture including the grand Italianate City Hall. The textile ...

Harrow Borough v Metropolitan Police - 17th March, 2012
Frank Burnside, Inspector Lestrade, Sir Robert Peel, Sir Robert Mark, Jack Regan, Reg Hollis, Jane Tennison, vi har slått dem alle sammen, vi har slått dem alle sammen. Maggie Forbes, can you hear me? Maggie Forbes, your boys took a hell of a beating! Your boys took a hell of a beating! This was a massive win for Boro', as it increased the gap from the relegation zone to six points, at time of writing. Danny Buckle made amends for missing an earlier chance, with a headed goal. The Police equalised in the second half with a header of their own, and all seemed to be heading for a draw, but Boro's ten men (Aryan Taj having been sent off) claimed all the points, when Simeon Akinola, making his debut from the bench, latched onto an under-hit back-pass, and eventually found the net despite the fine efforts of the Police goalkeeper. Apologies for the squeaking in some of this video, which is not down to my camera, or my aging bones, but to the baby birds in the rafters of the grandstand. Thank you for watching The Fool (and his Monkey)

Natural England Launch "Our Natural Health Service" Part 1
In the face of Government projections suggesting that nine out of ten adults could be overweight or obese by 2050, Natural England has launched its 'Our Natural Health Service' initiative which calls for a step-change in the way that people are given access to green spaces and the ways in which outdoor activity programmes are supported by GPs. Natural Englands Walking for Health (WfH) programme encourages people to enjoy local natural spaces and benefit their health by taking part in health walks. Natural England is the largest national body promoting and setting standards for led health walks, supporting over 210 regular walks in the North West. At an event held at the National Wildflower Centre in Knowsley, the objectives of 'Our Natural Health Service' were outlined by Liz Newton, Natural Englands North West Regional Director. She was followed by Cllr Eddie Connor, Knowsley Councils Cabinet Member for Leisure, Communi\ ty and Culture. Addressing local dignitaries, including the Mayor and Mayoress of Knowsley, alongside representatives from both Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council, Liverpool City Council and Walking for Health volunteers, Filmed on behalf of 'Nature&Nurture;'.
