First search occurs at 2:52 In a new lawsuit, Angel Dobbs and her niece Ashley Dobbs, of Irving Texas, say they were searched inside their underwear by female Texas Trooper, Kelley Helleson, after a routine traffic stop in Dallas in July. The trooper who pulled them over, David Farrell, says on tape he saw them throw a cigarette butt out the window and smelled marijuana when he pulled them over. No drugs were found and they were released with a warning. The cousins say the trooper who performed the search used the same pair of gloves on both women. We look at the spec and rotation for an Affliction Warlock, and analyze the testing results via Recount. All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk. Affliction is a fairly complex rotation with lots of debuffs to take into consideration. Make sure your Improved Soul Fire, Improved Shadow Bolt, Bane of Agony, Unstable Affliction, and Haunt are on the target at all times. Fill in the gaps with Drain Life, which will automatically refresh your corruption; unless there is a break in dps due to boss mechanics, your corruption should never fall off. For this test, I found it much easier to manage my dots with an addon. I used DoTimer from Curse, but any buff/debuff manager addon will do.

All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk. Frost is a lot of fun. It is based around Frostbolt as your main nuke, with fast reactions to the constant procs of Brain Freeze and Fingers of Frost. It feels like a dynamic dps cycle, despite only using a handful of keybinds. Really, the whole design should be held up as a great example of how to make a character. In order to calculate Deep Freeze, which does not do damage to dummies, I included some heroic footage and recount data. I figure that Deep Freeze does 15% of your personal dps, so I factored that in for a rough estimate of the "real" dummy data. Also, I was not using the new Glyph of Deep Freeze in the heroic footage, so I figured that the 20% from that glyph canceled out the 20% of my damage that came from the water elemental, so I simply took the dummy test results (6600) divided by .85 to get the "final estimate" of 7700. Feel free to criticize that, but the point is: it does great damage, and the heroic numbers with purple gear and a rampage buff supports that conclusion. While testing is normal done against raid dummies, this episode uses heroic tests in high end gear. Though this prevents an apples to apples comparison with other classes, it at least provides a good comparison with Enhancement. Elemental is easy to play, as it is based around just a couple of nukes, one debuff, and a handful of cooldowns. It is not very conducive to motion-based fights, as Spiritwalker's Grace does not last very long and has a 2 minute cooldown. The damage is quite above average, and the spec provides plenty of raid utility (other than the motion problem). The addon used to track cooldowns and debuffs is DoTimer. Gear is level 333 premade junk. Frost is a little more complicated than Unholy. Use Blood Strike to burn off your blood runes whenever they become available. Dump all of your runic power into Frost Strike. Try to keep an Obliterate ready to go for whenever Killing Machine procs, but KM will be wasted often when it procs in the middle of a Frost Strike cast. Don't forget to refresh Blood Plague; unlike Unholy, you don't have an ability that refreshes everything for free. Don't neglect your cooldowns, either. You can spec either Dual Wield or 2-hander. The rotation doesn't change, and only a handful of talents move around for the other spec.

Spam your primary nuke while reacting to the rare Hot Streak proc and manage about three cooldowns. I've tested both Frostfire Bolt and Fireball, each with their respective glyph, and found that Frostfire Bolt currently does more DPS. There is also an RNG factor to consider, so the gulf may not be as large as the data shows (due to mana pool problems with Fire, the sample size is only a bit over 1M damage, instead of 2-3M as I prefer to do). The other buffs it received don't appear to make up for it. Slam got a huge buff, but it's so weak that it adds very little to overall DPS. Single Minded Fury is closer to Titan's Grip than before, but TG appears to win out in the end.

Shadow is a fun spec based around dots, Mind Blast, and, oddly, moving as much as possible. Thanks to a recent change in Shadow Orbs, you no longer need to concern yourself with stacking orbs and timing your dot refreshes. Instead, you can spend the orbs as often as you want, and you will permanently maintain the buff to your periodic shadow damage through a brand new buff called Empowered Shadow. Although this spec is quite similar to Affliction in a lot of ways, the constant motion thanks to the Shadowy Apparition talent does give it a unique spin compared to every other dps spec in the game. The great warrior rebalancing patch of '11 features a major nerf to heroic strike and cleave, and some compensatory buffs. The talent Lambs to the Slaughter now provides a steady 30% damage buff to all of your major abilities, instead of 30% to just mortal strike. Also, it has a ramp up period (3 stacks) to make it less powerful in PVP. Nice one! Also, War Academy works with Slam and Mortal Strike (and some stuff for other trees) instead of Heroic Strike.

The changes in the PTR patch include an overhaul of Main Gauche (hits with main hand now) and a buff to Revealing Strike. Unfortunately, the net gain in DPS is not particularly large, but it's noticable. I will be running more tests with other specs in order to generate an apples to apples comparison. Next episode will be Retribution Paladins, assuming they aren't bugged (they might be).

All testing is done against a raid boss dummy with no buffs besides basic class abilities. Gear is level 333 premade junk. Arms is a tough rotation to master, especially compared to Fury. It's based around maintaining rend, lots of cooldowns, and lots of procs. You also want to build around using Sunder Armor, unless you are a raid where somebody provides it for free. Slam is your biggest damage ability, but it is as awkward and annoying to use as ever. The timer mod shown is DoTimer, downloaded from Curse.
