Curtis Smith (born August 4, 1965) is an American Publicist and Public Relations Consultant in the entertainment and nonprofit industries. A graduate of California State University, San Bernardino in 1988, he went on to serve as Vice President of A&R for Statue Records. He also worked in publicity for American Records, Scotti Bros Records, Interscope Records, and Risk Records. He's worked with bands such as the Aquabats, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, The Reverend Horton Heat, Ron Sexsmith, Les Claypool and Primus, Marilyn Manson, and No Doubt. In 1998 he founded Maelstrom Music PR.
Curti Smith was born on August 9, 1965 in the city of Upland, California. He graduated with a BS from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) in 1988. While there, he dual majored in marketing and small business management. Starting in 1985, he was a sound engineer for university plays, and from 1986 to 1988 he served as Entertainment Chair at Associated Student Productions. He was heavily involved in the Theatre Arts Department as a recording and sound reinforcement engineer throughout his time at the University.

Plot: 1970s roller-skate jams fuel this coming-of-age comedy, as X and his friends, who rule their local rink, are shocked when their home base goes out of business. Heading over to the Sweetwater Roller Rink, they find their modest talents are, at first, no competition for their trick skaters and pretty girls who follow their every move.

Plot: Martin meets Samantha, the sister of Nicole who is the leader of a band called "Chery Suicide". While Martin and Samantha are beginning a relationship, Nicole is trying to get away from her ex-boyfriend an insane punk rocker named Ivan. One night Ivan breaks in to Nicole and Samantha's apt. and they knock him unconscious. They run away in a taxi with Curtis the guitarist, Martin, and a blind street philosopher named Wally. They and the taxi driver make their way south to Virginia. In virginia they manage to buy instruments, a van, meet Lenny when their tire blows out, get chased by Ivan, give a concert, crash a Christian fair, and have a fun memorable time doing it.
