Alexandra Burke - Dangerous [B-Side to "Bad Boys"]
"Dangerous" is the stunning b-side to Alexandra Burke's first single from her debut album "Overcome" - and second single overall - titled "Bad Boys". "Bad Boys" has peaked at #1 on the Irish Singles Chart, UK Singles Chart and UK Download Chart, becoming her second consecutive #1 in Ireland and in the UK after her 'winner's single' (a cover of the Leonard Cohen classic) "Hallelujah" - famously covered by Jeff Buckley - was released as her winner's single after she won X Factor 2008. "Bad Boys" has also peaked at #5 on the Eurochart Hot 100 Singles chart. Bad Boys is set to be released in the US in December 2009/early 2010 with the album Overcome (which has topped the UK Albums chart, peaked at #2 in Ireland and #7 on the Eurochart Hot 100 Albums chart) being released in the US in 2010.

Alexandra Burke - Start Without You live @ T4 On The Beach - 4th July 2010
Pop/R&B; princess Alexandra Burke propelled to fame after winning 2008's The X Factor in the UK. Her winning single, "Hallelujah", a cover of Leonard Cohen's hit, hit #1 on the UK and Irish Singles Charts and she then took time after that to record her debut album under Syco Records, Simon Cowell's record label. Her debut single as a proper artist was the scorching R&B; stomper "Bad Boys" which featured American rapper Flo Rida and it debuted right atop the UK Singles Chart. She proved she was no one trick pony, releasing her #1 UK debut album "Overcome" and her second single "Broken Heels" which hit the Top 10 of the UK Singles Chart. She then released a remix of one of her album tracks "All Night Long" which now featured Pitbull. She then hit the Top 5 on the UK Singles Chart and #1 on the Irish Singles Chart. Now however, Burke is recording an American version of her UK debut "Overcome" and has released her next European single called "Start Without You". The song is not seen on her debut and this could mean very exciting things for this young lady. Here she is performing her brand new single "Start Without You" live at T4 on the Beach! Enjoy!

The album was a huge hit, especially in the UK and the US, where it has achieved multi-platinum certification. #33 - Top Favorited (Today) - Music - Canada #100 - Top Rated (Today) - Music - Canada #30 - Top Favorited (Today) - Music - Canada #29 - Top Favorited (Today) - Music - Canada The single was also released in that year, reaching the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart for 4 weeks (the last rock band to do so for the next six years, until Maroon 5's Makes Me Wonder topped the chart) while it topped both the Mainstream and Modern Rock charts for 13 weeks. Outside the US, the song became a worldwide hit, it was #4 on the UK Singles Chart, and #1 on the Irish Singles Chart. Due to the high sales, it was ranked as the top single of 2002 by Billboard magazine. In the UK, although not reaching the dizzy heights of #1 in the charts, "How You Remind Me" stayed in the singles chart top 20 for 3 months. Although two other singles followed from Silver Side Up, ("Too Bad", "Never Again"), they were very minor hits. This shows how successful a single "How You Remind Me" was, since the 6 million copies of Silver Side Up sold in the US, as well as around 10 million copies sold worldwide can be nearly single handedly credited to "How You Remind Me". The song went on to rack up four Grammy Award nominations, four Billboard Awards, four Juno awards, and countless radio accreditations. "How You Remind Me" was the #1 Most Played Song of 2002 in the United States, across all formats, according to Billboard Monitor. Hothouse Flowers - Don't go (extended promo) 1988
* Hit the "CC" button down in the right corner of the video to see the lyrics. An extended version of this brilliant song :) So far I haven't found any info at all on this extended version being released on CD. I got this video from Swedish TV and it only had the audio working in one speaker, so this is in "fake stereo" (to put an ease on the ears:)). In 1986 Bono from the band U2, saw the Flowers performing on television and offered his support. They released their first single, "Love Don't Work This Way", on U2's Mother Records label, which quickly led to a deal with the PolyGram subsidiary London Records. Their first album, People was released in early 1988 and was the most successful debut album in Irish history. It reached the number one slot in Ireland within a week and eventually reached number 2 in the UK Albums Chart. The international success of the album received a great boost when a music video for the first single, "Don't Go", was played in the interval between contestants and the scoring in the 1988 Eurovision Song Contest. This propelled the song to number 11 in the UK Singles Chart, the highest position the band would ever achieve in this chart. Meanwhile, at home, "Feet on the Ground", the album's second single, reached #1 in the Irish singles chart. (Wiki.) *Thank you so much shaymcn3 for all your help on fixing the audio!!!! :)))

Sea Sessions 2011 launch party
Award-winningSea Sessions Festival makes history announcing first-of-its-kind ASP Speciality Surfing Event in Ireland!
TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
www.seasessions.com & HMV Stores Nationwide
The Sea Sessions 2011 Festival line-up has finally been announced! Following the success of the award winning festival’s 2010 stellar line-up, event organisers have pulled out all the stops to bring you what promises to be this year’s biggest beach party, jam-packed with exciting activities and pumping tunes all in the surrounds of beautiful Bundoran, Co. Donegal!
GET TO THE MAINSTAGE
Fresh from his North American tour, five-time Grammy award winner Ziggy Marley will share his musical love and samples from his fourth solo release "Wild and Free" (2011 Tuff Gong Worldwide) with festival goers at this year's event before embarking on a European Tour. Marley's career began as a family affair 30 years ago. At his father's urging, Ziggy, brother Stephen and sisters Cedella and Sharon formed a vocal group, the Melody Makers. The group was embraced by fellow Jamaicans and, over the next two decades, built an international following. They earned a Best Reggae Recording Grammy for their 1988 major-label debut, Conscious Party, featuring the single, "Tomorrow People." The group garnered two more Grammys, for One Bright Day (1989) and the other for Fallen Is Babylon (1997). Marley brings his live show fueled by a fragrant blend of roots reggae, African percussion and other elements to the shores of Bundoran on Sunday 26th June!
No strangers to a live audience, multi-platinum selling, chart topping alt-rockers BellX1 will take to the main stage and captivate onlookers with hits from their brand new album “Bloodless Coup”. Smash airplay singles from 2003’s “Music in Mouth” and 2005’s #1 Pop Chart album “Flock” are certain to gage audiences, played against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean!
REPRESENTING THE UNITED KINGDOM
To coincide with the release of the band’s third LP “Rolling Blackouts”, multi-instrumentalist indie-rocking-sextet The Go! Team will bring their legendary live show to the festival playing a raucous set of rock, funk, soul, hip-hop with trumpets, chants, a harmonica, glockenspiel, two drum kits and even a type-writer! Definitely a spectacle not to be missed!
Southampton quartet The Delays will be immersing themselves in local culture having also confirmed a live performance at Donegal’s award winning Sea Sessions Surf and Music Festival. The Delay’s curious career that has seen them go from the indie romanticism of ‘Nearer Than Heaven’, through the psychedelic disco rush of ‘Valentine’, to the all-out pop anthemics of ‘Hooray’ with all the unrestrained playfulness of kids on a sugar kick. Stick around – we think you’ll like them!
KEEPING UP APPEARANCES
Not to be outdone by our neighbours, local Irish talent will be strongly represented again this year with live performances from ROYSEVEN, JAPANESE POPSTARS, FRED , BRIAN DEADY , newcomers KANYU TREE, HAM SANDWICH and returning favourites CODES and O EMPEROR to mention a few.
HEY DJ, PUT YOUR HANDS UP!
Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and founding father of Hip-Hop, DJ Grandmaster Flash will hit the decks and grace the main stage with crowd pleasing, hip-hopping, rock-stomping beats! As a teenager, he began experimenting with DJ gear in his bedroom, eventually developing and mastering three innovations - Quick Mix, Clock Theory and Scratching - that are still considered standard DJing techniques today. He was the first DJ to physically lay his hands on the vinyl and manipulate it in a backward, forward or counterclockwise motion. Flash has played for audiences as large as the Super Bowl and as elite as The Queen of England, and plans to release an album later this year!
BBC Radio 2 DJ Norman Jay will also light up the decks with his blend of house music, 70’s & 80s funk, soul and jazz-funk beats from the sunny shores of Bundoran this June!
ONES TO WATCH
Sixty two year old Charles Bradley is no stranger to hard times. Born in Gainesville, Florida in 1948 and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Charles spent the better part of his childhood living on the streets. Slipping off the beaten track, the succeeding years were tinged with tales of m urder, poverty, multiple failures and unimaginable setbacks. “The sort of pain that can only drive a man to greatness or madness. Thankfully, Bradley found the former, at the age of 62, with the help of Gabe Roth of Daptone Records” – LA TIMES. “No Time for Dreaming” is Bradley’s debut album and is steeped in the tradition of classic Stax, Otis Redding, James Brown and Al Green. Tipped as Top Act at this year’s SXSW Festival in Austin, Texas and recommended as one to watch by the LA Times, Charles Bradley should not be missed on the sunny shores of Bundoran this June!
Officially formed in 1964 after playing in studios together all over Kingston, Jamaica, The Skatali

(Somewhere) Beyond The Sea! - Bobby Darin, Mantovani & Percy Faith Orchestras!!!
More HD Music Videos: ILoveProfHowdy.Com
"Beyond the Sea" is a 1946 contemporary pop song with music taken from the song "La Mer" by Charles Trenet and lyrics by Jack Lawrence.
Trenet had composed "La Mer" (which means "The Sea") with French lyrics totally different and unrelated to the English language version that Lawrence composed. Trenet's French version was an homage and ode to the changing moods of the sea, while Lawrence, by just adding one word "Beyond" to the title, gave him the start whereby he made the song into one of a lover pining for a lost love.
It has been recorded by many artists, including Benny Goodman, Mantovani, Roger Williams and Gisele MacKenzie, but Bobby Darin's version released in 1959 is the best known by many, reaching #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song reached the top 40 twice prior to the Darin version (Goodman-1948, Williams-1955).
Darin's recording has been used in many films, TV shows and video games, including Apollo 13, Austin Powers in Goldmember, Diner, Goodfellas, Lost, Black Rain, The X-Files, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, Finding Nemo and BioShock. The song was also played in a 2005 commercial for Carnival Cruise Lines. A portion of Bobby Darin's recording was played during the splashdown and post-recovery of Alan Shepard's Freedom 7 in the first episode of the 1998 HBO miniseries, From the Earth to the Moon.
Kevin Spacey sang the song in the movie Beyond the Sea, a biopic about Bobby Darin, in a "fantasy" sequence leading up to his marriage to Sandra Dee. Similarly, on the television series American Dreams, Duncan Sheik performed the song while playing the role of Bobby Darin.
American R&B; singer George Benson recorded a version of the song under the title "Beyond The Sea (La Mer)", which entered the UK Singles Chart on 20 April 1985. It reached a peak position of number 60, and remained in the chart for 3 weeks.
Another recording of the song released in 1965 as the B-side of American folk-rock band We Five's #1-hit "You Were On My Mind" is also well-known. Robbie Williams covered the song on the Finding Nemo soundtrack. The Irish musical group Celtic Woman covered this song for their two albums, A New Journey and The Greatest Journey Essential Collection, and in each album, Chloë Agnew and Hayley Westenra sing a solo in the first verse. It was also remixed by Moby and Oscar The Punk on the BioShock EP Game soundtrack. In 1998, it was released in a swing-tempo cover by Royal Crown Revue on the Mugsy's Move album. In the movie 'A Life Less Ordinary, it was sung by Ewan McGregor and Cameron Diaz. It bookends Barry Manilow's 2006 release The Greatest Songs of the Fifties. Westlife did a cover of the song as a digital download release in UK in 2004.
