TNP All Stars Gear Check
Traveling far to meet with Nutnfancy, here are some great TNPrs up close. Say hello the Drzmanproject and his son Beachead556, Sootch00, Cr0cket20, USNERDOC, and 1StepTooFar in this fun Nutnfancy video where we had just finished dinner together. We literally talked for hours about all things TNP, YouTube, and life. It was a special time with some great guys that are VERY representative of the TNP audience. I would love to host so many more TNPrs but I am just logistically and time limited. Of course once outside I had to conduct one of my no-notice gear checks on the guys and then the hijinks began. Stay tuned for more Nutnfancy adventure with these quality dudes.

"TNP Soldiers" by Nutnfancy
After years of digital video and photographic work for TNP I generate or already have much of the imagery I need. Official military, manufacturer, or public domain provide some other rarely needed sources. This helps show the products I review and make the vids more interesting. But as TNP drives on, I would like show some of the many military and LE TNPrs in my future videos. In all services, in many specialties, in many countries, TNPrs are providing valuable public service at substantial personal sacrifice. I know because I travel that road myself (US Air Force for 20 years) and have deployed many times in combat support operations. Here I introduce the concept of emailing TNP your duty pictures and sending in unit patches so I can accurately represent my high quality TNP audience (sometimes misrepresented by perverse individuals). I cannot promise their use or give any timeline for their integration but you just may see yourself in future TNP video. Thank you for your service, thank you for making TNP a cool place to hang out. ///////////////// STATEMENT OF CONSENT AND RELEASE: "As the creator and owner of the submitted photos/images in question, I (full name) give TNP full worldwide, unpaid distribution rights to my images, photos and digital media submitted. TNP Hang Outs: Chicks vs Cars vs Guns vs Baby Otters
A fun slice of life TNP video with the fam. You get a rare glimpse into the current world of TacticalDoodle as you check out his room... there's some cool crap in there. Some of it's loaner stuff to TNP. This vid ain't setup, in fact they didn't even know I was filming until later. Hot or not. Check out my sons as they choose between two screen savers as some of their favorite stuff rolls on by; cool tunes play in the background, some of which you'll hear in TNP. If it's received well, at times I might show the family in these slice of life vids and again you'll see we're just like you see in the vids. We hang out a lot, we don't take ourselves very seriously, we laugh and make fun of everything, we bust on each other, we're a close family (dogness too, she was asleep somewhere else) and we dig hot cars, heavy armaments, destructive jets, guns, knives, and all the other stuff you see and will see here in the Project. Mrs Nutnfancy's right there too...she's used to it. We're just a normal American family, we're just heavily armed is all. 1 of 4, Kel-Tec KSG Shotgun First Shots: "Eat Lead" by Nutnfancy
The KelTec KSG shotgun rocks the desert in the new Nutnfancy "Eat Lead" Drill. Combining combat-style of shotgunning with some challenging pistol targets, Eat Lead is a fast-paced course that starts in a trench and winds through sage brush and juniper. Many opportunities emerge for both system and shooter failure, always providing excellent and real systems data for the viewer. This will be the world video premier of the KSG being ran like this. With its 7+7+1 mag tube systems, short bullpup configuration, double pistol grips, and lightweight, the KSG is a cutting edge design. We come up with a few solid ideas however to make it better. With crew PFIDude, PFIDad, and Chad from Kel-Tec, this Nutnfancy Crew steps up and locks in to find out how it stacks against the proven speed and reliability of a Winchester 1300 in the course. Add in the handgunning, the joking, the workout, the gear surprises (oh yeah, there's lots), and you have yourself another fun and exhausting Nutnfancy RunNGun course...Eat Lead./////////////////////// Perfect EAT LEAD run score is 36 (25 pt/hits, 5 pt speed run bonus, 3 pt no miss shotgun bonus, 3 pt handgun no miss bonus). Any HOSTAGE hits subtract 5 pts! ////////Note: Downloading the KSG in the initial runs is imperative for a good test. Running full tubes would not have explored the complicated reload/switchover process unless the course was lengthened to an expensive, tiring, and time consuming 30 rds! And keep in mind, I ran several runs with <b>...</b>

"Speed Metal" Pt 1: Troy Industries/TNP Shoot by Nutnfancy
Light and strong. That's Troy stuff for your AR, 10/22, Mini-14, M14/M1A, and others. I always thought their TRX (and subsequent versions) were THE best AR-15 rails on the market: slimline, unobstructed, light, tough, non-rotational under torque loads, and they improve swing speed. Add in great BUIS and other billet accessories and they have a winning product line. And some cool people behind it too. Say hey again to James and meet Matt, two cool players who flew all the way from ME to shoot with the TNP crew. We set up Short Sledge Drill and make it happen, busy holiday season and all! With the PFIs and my son TacticalDoodle in attendance, the fun kicks off in Speed Metal Part 1. It's a cold and sunny day. I rapidly embarrass myself on my first run by having to resort to a backup gun whose zero is questionable for the ammo used. Oh well, suck it up and future parts will show some serious redemption. Matt lays down a good run as comes face to face with the realities of Sledge (ok short Sledge!). We take safety very seriously but not ourselves. Time to kick it with the TNP and Troy crew in another full feature, full length Nutnfancy vid series. We loved having these guys out!///////////////////Music: Jason Shaw

NEW TNP Knife Supplier: "Cutlery Shoppe!"
Welcome aboard TNP: www.cutleryshoppe.com. I have researched this website supplier for many months in a quest to find another high-value TNP blade supplier. Cutlery Shoppe, run by Jeff, has excellent service levels, a well-designed website (with good photos, specs, real stock checking), good product selection, good brand selection, and smokin' prices. All those aspects are critical for any TNP association. Last fall I actually contacted several big online knife suppliers for perhaps a TNP discount code to offset their much higher prices (sometimes $40 per blade higher!). You see, many TNPrs are not made out of cash and I take it personally to get you the good deals to stretch your gear dollars. Shockingly they said they are satisfied with their higher margins and are happy with the business they get (well in December Christmas shopping they were; some came back to me later!). OK. So enter the Cutlery Shoppe in Idaho...they get the gig! They may not have every knife you want so other blade suppliers will be used and recommended. Please look to my Channel page on the righthand side for these associations. I suggest you give these retailers, who price their knives and gear aggressively for YOU, your business. Like you, I am motivated by the good deal. If I can score three blades for the same amount of money I can score two at the other websites, then my choice is made./////////////EXTENDED BY POPULAR DEMAND, TNP SPECIAL: USE FREE Shipping with Code "nutnfancy"

QUICK vid made in Philadelphia announcing great deal for a short time on more AT steel targets. Their prices are already reasonable. But my discount code of nutnfancynra20 makes them incredible. TNP Microtech Ultratech: 200 Worldwide
TNP history in the making: the first ever factory collaboration knife. This is the TNP Microtech Ultratech in anodized FDE with special bayonet blade, markings, and fittings. The first 25 sold will be signed by me and each includes a certificate of authenticity. Price is an high value $219, even lower than the special arranged price of May 2012 on the regular Ultratechs! Value will increase over time, maybe by A LOT. This is a gorgeous, extremely capable, lightweight collectible OTF tactical/EDC blade. Thanks to Jake at Blade HQ for helping spearhead this special project for TNPrs. My Ultratech sidebar writeup follows. GET THIS BLADE WHILE YOU CAN AT: www.bladehq.com ULTRATECH: An ultra quality out the front auto knife from Microtech. Here's HEC personified in this classy auto. The Microtech Ultratech gets most elements right. It is light for this sized OTF at just 3.8 oz for it's 3.4 inch blade. The double action is fast and sure, the lockup is tight for this style of blade. Many blade choices and steels have been offered in this popular Microtech blade: bayonet, drop point ("standard"), tanto, and double edge grinds. These models feature CPM S35-VN steel, an appropriate choice. Blade finishes include Scotch Brite (called "satin" by Microtech), camo variations (favorites), and the handsome stonewashed option. Most are shown and discussed here, tied into POU preferences. All examined UTs arrive with perfect grinds and scalpel sharpness. Top on the list is employing the <b>...</b>

"Speed Metal" Pt 2: Troy Industries/TNP Shoot by Nutnfancy
Man does that new TNP Barricade rock or what? Maybe we should call it the TNP armoire...Doodle could use it store his Star Wars figures in off days. But with that TNPB, the 200 yard stage is alive and well in Speed Metal Pt 2 when several players throw down some smack on the distant 10" plate. PFIDad puts in an amazing run, his best ever! His rest home was right when they said he is the best shooter they got...great job Dad! PFIDude is back in top form too as he throws down the gauntlet with an excellent run as well. Vindication never felt so good. Hey I want some of that too dude! My first run with RRA AR-15 was just silly and I wanted to leave the "caboose crew" and go hang hang out with the winners. Reminds me of high school. So I put away the POP GUNS and strap on a .308 Battle Rifle to go prove my manhood: the DPMS LR-308 TAC-20 rules the course in that run. I score a pure 10 out of 10 at 200 yds with the DPMS with Wolf ammo (and would have owned the day had it been faster!). We take some moments to discuss the outstanding Troy Industries product line and show it as well. Expect to see MCS action sometime in TNP; a great Mini-14 and M14/M1A option that solves the optics problems of those platforms. James gets some "awesome" guy points from me in the scoring to help him out a little bit. Matt slams his fair of steel and he shows his Multicam just ain't for looks. Watch him in Pt 3 take out some aggression with the DPMS LR-308 too! Wanting to mix it up and bit and <b>...</b>

TNP HATS ARE HERE...and other stuff
By popular demand, the TNP hats are now a reality. Available at WWW.NUTNFANCY.BIGCARTEL.COM it took awhile for us to find a quality maker that could put together an adventure hat that I would want to wear...everywhere. It's the equal to my long testing and beloved The North Face nylon hat seen here for four years. Also by demand and now created to a high quality level: new embroidered TNP patches (shown) and a few new useful TNP nametapes. We're happy with the results. I cover the stickers, the TNP calendar, and the donation shell casings while I'm at it. I'm about the adventuring, the philosophy vids, and the reviews, not merchandising. But I promised I'd deliver and with the help of TacticalDoodle and Mrs Nutnfancy I am!

DuraCoated Knives Update: Fresh From the TNP Workshop!
Like an elf in Santa's workshop, I am often laboring away in the completion of many TNP projects. The modification in both utility and appearances of many of my blades continues to be a favorite project. Using the excellent DuraCoat coating in various tactical colors, I tackled the Cold Steel Laredo Bowie, CS OSS, BM McHenry Williams 710, Spyderco Endura4, and Glock field knife. For the non-stainless blades, the DC provides much needed rust resistance in my snowy and sometimes rainy adventures. More to the point, the coatings just increase the cool factor for me and make the blades more enjoyable. There's plenty of black blades in the inventory so it's nice to have something different! As always, the takedown and surface prep for these projects takes the most time but it's worth the work: a factory-quality DuraCoat finish that will wear hard in use and look good. Stayed tuned for future projects from the TNP elves...
