Ear Infection Treatment and Home Remedy
blockcenter.com - Treating ear infections (acute otitis media) with antibiotics may actually cause the ear infection to last longer and recur more often. It is also well-documented in the medical literature that 80 to 90% of all ear infections will heal entirely on their own. It's important to understand why treating ear infections with antibiotics is no longer always the best option.

Ear Infection
The next time your child wakes you up at 3:00 AM with an ear ache, don't go to the hospital to wait 6 hours to be seen, get immediate relief! Mince some garlic and sautee' it in some vegetable oil just until the oil starts to sizzle, then remove from heat. once it is cooled enough to handle, strain out the garlic, keeping the oil. Put a few drops in the ear and lay down for 15-20 minutes with the problem ear facing up. Empty the ear out and re-apply garlic oil until the pain is gone. with my son (who has frequent ear infections) it only takes a second application, then he's back to sleep, and out of pain.

eardoc - ear infection treatment - non-invasive and children friendly
Eardoc opens the Eustachian tube for otitis media, ear infection, swimmers ear and other ear pain causes. The EAR DOC is an efficient non-invasive device that reduces the ear pain by treating the problem rather than the symptom. Eardoc helps drain the ear with subtle vibrations. Eardoc - the best solution to treat an ear infection and relieve ear pain * Alternative for ear tube surgery * Immediate ear pain relief * Suitable for both children and adults Eardoc is a non-invasive approved medical device for middle ear infection (Otitis media) treatment and other conditions involving ear pain in children and adults. An ear infection is a common condition that affects the middle ear, usually caused by bacterial or viral infections. Typically, an ear infection involves blockage of the Eustachian tubes (narrow passages that connect each middle ear to the back of the throat), responsible for normal secretion drainage from the ear and regulation of air pressure between the outside and the middle ear. When the Eustachian tubes are blocked, fluid accumulates in the middle ear causing an ear infection.

Chiropractor Pittsburgh PA Ear Infection: Treatment without antibiotics
AskDrGoldberg.com 3322 Babcock Blvd Pittsburgh, Pa 15237 412-367-3778 Ear Infection An ear infection (otitis media), is most often a bacterial or viral infection that affects the middle (media) ear, the air-filled space behind the eardrum that contains the tiny vibrating bones of the ear. Children are more likely than adults to get ear infections. Why? Because in children the Eustachian tubes are very small and less able to keep germs out. Middle ear infections are the most common. When the germ affects the outer ear, it's called swimmer's ear. However if the ear infection is caused by a virus, then antibiotics can't touch this, and sometimes there's a yeast infection in the ear which is made worse by antibiotics. The Eustachian tubes get longer and usually work better as you get older, but they can still cause problems. If you have allergies or catch a cold, the Eustachian tubes can get blocked up and let germs get in the middle ear. Then the number of germs can grow inside the middle ear and cause an infection. Ear Infection: The Chiropractic Connection There's definitely a chiropractic connection to ear infections. First of all the chiropractic adjustment affects the nerves that go to and innervate the ears. Also an adjustment can be given to the ears which enables the Eustachian tubes to open up and drain. Also the nervous system is "hard-wired" to the immune system, which helps the body fight off the infection, whether it's viral, bacterial or yeast/fungus. Also ...
