Sacred Vedic Chants of India -Ashvamedha Prakarnam - Sanskrit Spiritual
Buy this Audio Cd at:www.superaudio.in or www.musicandchants.com Asvamedha Sacrifice is held high and was termed as the Universal lord of Sacrifices. This is performed by the unrivalled paramount sovereign called Sarvabhauma. It is recorded that one who performs the Asvamedha conquers all the quarters; conquers the world; He attains everything he desires. It is the expiation of all sins; it is the medicine of all ie, Universal Panacea. He acquires all Kingdoms, 'exorbitant wealth and the highest status. As, this sacrifice involves heavy expenditure and enormous paraphernalia ordinary persons cannot perform this. However, it is believed that 'heaving the mantras chanted from the Asvamedha chapters of the Veda bestows all the powers that would accrue for a performer. Hence, to make the listeners prosper ever and ever, Mantras form the Asvamedha Prakarana of the Sukla Yajurveda(Kanva Sakha) are chanted in a rare svara set by the Sage Yajnavalkya the pioneering priest in the performance of yagas. The Kanva Rendition is rare and for the first time. Some glimpses of the rendering of this rendition has been brought out and also preserved for prosterity, in the compact disc format for the sake of our listeners! All these Mantras are recited by the eminent Ganapaati Brahmasri Parasurama Sastri (Yajnavalkya Gurukulam, Ambattur) and his disciples Sri Srinivasa Sarma, Sri Manjunathan, Sri Sankaran being co-ordinated by prof.R.Thiagarajan, HOD of Sanskrit.

Gayatri Pariwar Kashipur Ashwamegh Yagya part 1 of 9
A series of ashwamedh yagna all over the country has been a very important phase in campaign of establishing the era of Truth (Dev Sanskriti Digvijay abhiyaan). Not a single person of the city and even villages around remain untouched with the enthusiasm and glee of the event. Ashvamedha yajna is for making the entire nation united, powerful and progressive; The Vijayavahini (victorious army) of selfless Srajan Sainiks (creative soldiers), who have purified themselves by adopting a life of austerity and penance have come forward to dedicate their talents and capacities with the spirit of yajna, is ready. This is indeed the self-effectuating call of Mahakal in the form of Yajnapurush. The medha, mahaprajna (the divine intellect), which has been accomplished through single-minded devotion, is determined to give the right direction towards the fulfillment of the divinely guided Mission. The Divine Spirit is ready to entrust its all-conquering powers for the benefit of Yugaprajna, under the subtle guidance of Yuga rishi Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya. Thus a successful experiment of Ashvamedhik Anushthan is being done once again to restore the glory of our nation and humanity at large. Src: www.akhandjyoti.org

Kankhal
Kankhal (कनखल) is a small town of historical and religious importance, 3 km south of Haridwar[1] in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand state in India.**** The mythological story about this place is that King Daksha Prajapati, the father of Sati, Lord Shiva 's first wife, performed yagya at this place. Daksha Prajapati did not invite Lord Shiva, and Sati felt insulted. Therefore she burnt herself in the yagya kund. Shiva burned with anger, sent the terrible demi-god Vīrabhadra, Bhadrakali and also his ganas, On the direction of Shiva, Virabhadra appeared with Shiva's ganas in the midst of Daksha's assembly like a storm wind and waged a fierce war on the gods and mortals present culminating in the beheading of Daksha, and later being bestow the head of a goat. Next to the temple is the 'Daksha Ghat' on the Ganga, and close by is the Nileshwar Mahadev Temple. Much of the details of the famous Ashvamedha Yagna (Horse Sacrifice) of Daksha are available in the Vayu Purana.. JOLLYKHANNA1's shared video file.
