Mass UFO sightings across South America, Stunned residents report..
droidzilla.blogspot.com A wave of mass UFO sightings across South America is currently occurring, leaving bewildered witnesses wondering if indeed beings from other worlds might be visiting Planet Earth. Stunned residents of towns and villages across Argentina, Peru and Chile as well as other nations have seen multiple objects ranging from mother ships to Cigar-shaped crafts over the last week alone. In at least one case a power outage accompanied such an event. The event receiving the most publicity occurred in Salta, Argentina where at 2am on November 27 the city plunged into complete darkness as it suffered a total electrical failure. Phones stopped working and even taps ran dry. Allegedly intense heat engulfed the town and a huge mother ship type UFO was seen above the town studded with flashing lights. It is claimed that the town electricity failed at the moment the UFO was seen to pass over the power plant. Hundreds of individuals witnessed this craft. UFO researchers and government authorities have descended on the area to investigate this incredible occurrence. In Lima, Peru hundreds of witnesses also observed, in amazement, at least seven seemingly other-worldly craft moving across the skies above their city. However some witnesses and UFO researchers have suggested that these might have been air balloons. In the town of Iquique in Chile a bizarre, glowing, multicoloured, cylindrical object was seen by residents last Friday. This object was also observed by ...

EQUATOR - episode 3: SOUTH AMERICA
Please visit www.simonreeve.co.uk for more information. For most people the equator is just an imaginary line running 25000-miles around the globe. But the countries along the equator are among the most troubled on the planet. In this series Simon Reeve takes a journey around the region with the greatest natural biodiversity and perhaps the greatest concentration of human suffering: the equator. Simon meets illegal loggers, father and son circumcisers, drunk villagers, and a young woman stuck in the baking desert. He is protected by soldiers in a coca field, and UN 'peace-enforcers' in a gold mine. Blackmailed and abandoned by drivers in one country, Simon travels through another that has just 300 miles of paved roads -- despite being the size of Western Europe. Simon is drenched while white-water rafting, surrounded by a million flamingoes and swallowed by a tidal wave. After being warned about the deadly virus Ebola, he vomits blood and develops a temperature of nearly 40C. Diagnosed with malaria, he's saved by medicine derived from the Vietnamese sweet wormwood. One remote tribe takes Simon to their sacred monument, while a man from another tribe of former head-hunters decides to make Simon part of the family: Simon is blessed with blood, presented with a short sword, and adopted. Elsewhere, Simon discovers a matrilineal society where daughters are called 'iron butterflies', mass graves in the jungle, and islands where protesting fisherman have killed giant tortoises ...

Earth
Time lapse sequences of photographs taken by the crew of expeditions
28 & 29 onboard the International Space Station from August to October,
2011, who to my knowledge shot these pictures at an altitude of around 350 km.
All credit goes to them.
HD, refurbished, smoothed, retimed, denoised, deflickered, cut, etc.
All in all I tried to keep the looks of the material as original as possible,
avoided adjusting the colors and the like, since in my opinion the original
footage itself already has an almost surreal and aestethical visual nature.

TRAFIK presents The Official Trailer for To Live & Ride In L.A. (http://www.toliveandrideinla.com)
Over a year in the making, To Live & Ride In L.A. is the first feature-length film about L.A.’s underground fixed-gear culture. Directed by David Rowe (Fast Friday), the documentary explores a side of Los Angeles few outsiders have ever seen.
To Live & Ride In L.A. features talented local riders tearing up the streets with first-time visitor Keo Curry (Fast Friday, Macaframa), one of the living legends of the sport. From races through rush-hour traffic to midnight loft parties, To Live & Ride In L.A. is a fast-paced trip through the busy streets and back-alleys of one of the world’s largest cities.
The second feature film from David Rowe, To Live & Ride In L.A. will challenge viewers’ perceptions of a city better known for its paparazzi, fake breasts, and traffic jams.
The soundtrack for To Live & Ride in L.A. highlights top artists from record labels such as Dangerbird Records(http://www.dangerbirdrecords.com), Dim Mak Records, Anticon, SWTBRDS, and I Heart Comix and includes music by Silversun Pickups, Hot Hot Heat, Bad Veins, The Willowz, Minus The Bear, Bambu, DaVinci, Crown City Rockers, Datarock, Kid Infinity, Sea Wolf, From Monument To Masses, Darker My Love... and more!
TRAFIK is a group of creatives who love biking the streets of L.A. and the world. From Japan to Australia, Europe to South America, urban fixed-gear cycling has become a symbol of a new generation that isn't afraid to bomb hills, split lanes, and defy norms.

SOLITAIRE: A Backcountry Skiing, Snowboarding, and Telemark Film from Sweetgrass Productions
In the high desert of South America, winter takes hold, devouring bleached bones and abandoned shacks. Into these most inhospitable of lands, a handful of drifters emerge from the whiteout, ready to cast their lot on forsaken peaks both merciless and magnificent. Venturing beyond the frontiers of most mountain films, Solitaire is backcountry skiing forged in the tradition of Western cinema. Born in the spires of Argentina’s legendary Las Lenas, a lonely two-year journey begins through an abandoned world, wandering the length of a continent from Peru’s Cordillera Blanca to Chilean Patagonia.
Lost in the winds of snowbound badlands and the blizzards of primordial forests; seen from a horse’s saddle and a paraglider’s wings; ridden on ski and board and telemark...
Solitaire fuses western-inspired tales of backcountry gambles into landscapes never before visited on film.
Shot on location in: Las Lenas, Argentina; Portillo, Chile;
Nevados de Chillan, Chile; Patagonia, Chile; Bariloche, Argentina; Caviahue, Argentina; Huaraz, Peru; Iquitos, Peru; Uyuni, Bolivia; and Sajama, Bolivia.
Featuring: Leo Ahrens, JP Auclair, Ryland Bell, Will Cardamone, Johnny Collinson, Forrest Coots, Stephan Drake, Jacqui Edgerly, Chris Erickson, Sebastian Haag, Kip Garre, Atsushi Gomyo, Kim Havell, Eliel Hindert, Erica Laidlaw, Jaime Laidlaw, Kyle Miller, Osamu “Ommu” Okada, Carston Oliver, Alex Paul, Thayne Rich, Dave Rosenbarger, Don Roth, Elyse Saugstad, Aidan Sheahan, Forrest Shearer, Ptor Spricenieks, Thomas Steiner, Drew Stoecklein, Taro Tamai, Jack Tolan… and honoring Arne Backstrom and Kip Garre.
