How to Edit Video
twitter.com - Most video editors suck. I don't mean the people who edit videos. I'm talking about the software itself. Many of them require you to take classes in order to even begin to grasp how to make use of the program. You just want to edit video! Maybe you have video sitting on some kind of media like VHS tapes that you want to digitize, edit and share. If you're looking to edit video without installing any software (or getting an advanced degree!) - you're in luck! chris.pirillo.com - http

7 Habits For Effective Text Editing 2.0
Google Tech Talks February 13, 2007 ABSTRACT A large percentage of time behind the computer screen is spent on editing text. Investing a little time in learning more efficient ways to use a text editor pays itself back fairly quickly. This presentation will give an overview of the large number of ways of using Vim in a smart way to edit programs, structured text and documentation. Examples will be used to make clear how learning a limited number of habits will avoid wasting time and lower the number of mistakes. Bram Moolenaar is mostly known for being the benevolent dictator of the text editor Vim. His roots are in electrical engineering and for a long time he worked on inventing image processing algorithms and software for big photo copying machines. At some point his work on Open-Source software became more important, making the development of Vim his full time job. He also did the AAP project in between Vim version 6.0 and 7.0. Now he works for Google in Zurich, still improving Vim on the side. His home page is www.moolenaar.net. Google engEDU Speaker Brian Moolenaar

Amateur - Lasse Gjertsen
I've taken my hyperactive editing style a step further! Hope you'll enjoy it! If you want to download the audio from this video, go to www11.nrk.no It's a norwegian page where I uploaded some of my music. (Lytt = Listen to, Last ned = Download) Oh shit, I forgot to put this in the video, and now it's too late to change it: Thanks to my friend Mattis for letting me borrow the drum kit. Also thanks to the person letting me use her piano, but she didn't want her name here :P And now; to you people saying I'm ripping off Michel Gondry: I've seen his video with the drumkit called "Drumb and Drumber". It's here on youtube somewhere. His video and my video are different because of one very important detail: Gondy filmed himself doing drumming sequences and LOOPED them, while I hit each drum and piano chord seperately and edited them together. This is a very big difference if you have any idea about video editing. Actually, there is a short sequence of 5 sec where he does cut the beat, but I didn't notice this until recently, which makes me an idiot. But I still don't think it's a rip off, only similar. SO one question to you guys: If I write a song which includes the words "love" and "tight", am I ripping off The Beatles?? :PI met Michel Gondry in Milan, Italy and asked him. He didn't really give me a clear answer, but it seemed like he thought so. Either that or he didn't like my clothes. Lol.

Audacity How to Edit Tutorial
This video gives a detailed, step by step guide on how to edit with Audacity. Subscribe to keep up on any new Audacity tutorials. Audacity is a very easy piece of software to use. It makes editing music and sound a pleasure. The first thing you learn in this Audacity tutorial is how to open an existing recording. It is as simple as drag and drop the MP3, WAV, etc. onto the Audacity window. When you are ready to remove some sound from a recording you need to select the sound by holding your mouse button and sliding over that sound. Once you have the sound selected, to delete the sound you just hit your delete key on your computer's keyboard. If there is a section of your music you would like to zoom in on you just need to select it with your mouse and click the 'fit selection to window' button in Audacity. If you find a button you are unfamiliar with you just need to hover your mouse over it and its name will appear after a couple of seconds. It is simple to fade out a sound recording in Audacity. First select the portion of your music you want to fade out, go to the EFFECT menu and select FADE OUT. It's that simple! The same process applies to FADE IN. Audacity Tutorials Audacity is a free, easy to use sound recorder and editor. Audacity may be simple to use, but very powerful in its features. This series of easy lessons is meant to help solve the most common issues faced by musicians using Audacity to record their music. Audacity is a great educational tool for use in ...
