CHESTERFIELD | The most underrated town in the UK? Chesterfield is a town we have visited before and we have decided to travel back to this market town close to Sheffield and see what's here and what the town has to offer. Best known for the church with the crooked spire, Chesterfield is a town that I think has so much more to offer whether that's the magnificent town hall, the old historic buildings scattered throughout the town, the winding wheel theatre, the shops, the pubs, the market and market hall and more. The thing I find with Chesterfield is that if you mention it to locals, many of them will have a bit of a moan about the town centre, and people from outside the town will tell me that they don't really know that much about the place. Chesterfield is perhaps best known for the crooked spire of its Church of Saint Mary and All Saints and is why the local football team is known as The Spireites.
