Protecting the Bedouin Community
5 December 2012
The Bedouin community is one of the most marginalised and vulnerable groups in the West Bank. It is heavily affected by Israeli policies and practices in Area C, including forced eviction and house demolitions, settler violence, restrictions on movement and the denial and destruction of basic infrastructure.
MAP will work with 10 selected communities in and around Khan Al Ahmar, Nuwi'meh, Diuok, Fasayil, and Al Ouja face multiple displacement threats including poor access to services such as water, electricity, healthcare and education; settler and military harassment and violence; and the ever present threat of pending demolition orders.
