Neil David Haskell (born April 16, 1987) is an American contemporary dancer. He is best known as a contestant on So You Think You Can Dance where he finished third in the final four. On April 22, 2008, he began performing in the Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz as Luke.^[1] Neil later joined The West Side Story National Tour as Snowboy, and as of spring 2012 is touring in the show Bring It On: The Musical as Steven. He also returned as an All-Star in Season 7 of SYTYCD.

Biography[link]

Haskell was born in Clarence Center, New York and first started dancing at age five at the David DeMarie Dance Studio in Clarence, New York, and American Academy of Ballet in Williamsville, NY. He also appeared in small roles in movies. At age 15, he began intensive training in ballet at the Chautauqua Institution for three summers. He attended Point Park University for a year, majoring in dance. Haskell has described his dance style as jazz/ballet. He earned the title of "Male Dancer of the Year" at the American Dance Awards in 2005. He got his Equity card the summer before auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance.

He has performed in the Twyla Tharp Broadway show The Times They Are A-Changin', with music by Bob Dylan, and in Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera's performances Grease, 42nd Street, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Beauty and the Beast.^[2] Neil also landed a supporting role in MTV's movie musical, The American Mall which was broadcast and DVD released in summer 2008.^[3] In Spring 2008, Haskell, along with former SYTYCD contestants Sabra Johnson and Danny Tidwell is featured in movmnt magazine's cover story to promote 'Keep it Real' the publication's awareness nonprofit organization.^[4] In April 2008 he began playing the role of "Luke" in the Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz. He continued playing the role of "Luke" until March 2009, and left to begin working on the new Dolly Parton musical "9 to 5". Neil was also cast to play the leading role of Jake in the new musical "F#@king Up Everything" in the New York Musical Theater Festival (NYMF 2009) which performs at various times from Oct 6 through October 17. All performances sold out. He has recently returned to So You Think You Can Dance Seasons 7 and 8 to dance as an All Star. He was also in the First National Tour Cast of West Side Story playing the role of Snowboy. Right now he is touring with the first time for the musical, Bring It On the Musical based on the movie Bring it On playing the role of Steven.

Haskell was paired up with contemporary/hip hop dancer, Lauren Gottlieb. The couple danced together until Week 6, when the couples were assigned new partners. Haskell was then partnered with Sara Von Gillern, and debuted their disco routine.

Haskell noted that he wants to use his experience on the show as a "springboard for the rest of [his] career".^[2]

After making it to the top 10 finalists, Haskell joined his fellow contestants in So You Think You Can Dance's 2007 dance tour that concluded on November 30, 2007.

On the August 7, 2008 Season 4 finale, Haskell, along with other finalists from seasons 1-3, joined Season 4's top 20 in a dance number. He also returned as an All-Star in Season 7 of SYTYCD, and again in Season 8.

Haskell also has a role in The American Mall. He plays a night janitor at the mall who is also a member of a rock band, where he played guitar & keyboards.

Sabra Elise Johnson (born July 29, 1987) is a dancer from Roy, Utah and the Season 3 Champion of the Fox reality television show So You Think You Can Dance.

She was born in the Netherlands, lived nine years in Germany, and after that, nine years in Utah. She now lives in New York while pursuing her dancing career.

Early career[link]

Johnson started formal dance training at the age of 16 at Dance Impressions in Bountiful, Utah, under the direction of mother-daughter team Kandee Allen and Vivian Colobella. She then moved down to Las Vegas, NV and trained at The Dance Zone, under the direction of other Colobella daughter Kaydee Francis and partner Jami Artiga. Before training in dance, Johnson had a previous background in gymnastics. Her dance training consists of jazz, ballet, contemporary, and gymnastics, with some experience in hip hop, modern, tap, and theater. Johnson's favorite style of dancing is contemporary.^[2] Before auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance, Johnson was going on to her fourth year of being a dancer. Johnson had a backup role on the hit film High School Musical as one of the skater dancers in the "Stick To The Status Quo" scene.^[3][4]

On the first episode of the show, Johnson was paired up with b-boy Dominic Sandoval, and they remained partners for five weeks. Each week, Johnson and her partners were required to reach into the hat with paper slips containing a variety of dance styles. The pair performed a disco routine during week one, a contemporary routine during week two, a rumba during week three, a hip hop during week four, and a jive during week five. The couple landed themselves in the bottom three couples only once which was during the first week. After week five, there were only ten dancers remaining in the competition.

After Johnson made it into the top ten, she was separated from Sandoval because of the rules for the top 10 competition. In week 6, Johnson was randomly paired with contemporary/hip hop dancer Kameron Bink for the next dance where they performed a contemporary routine. Bink was eliminated on the following results show. In week 7, Johnson was randomly paired with ballroom dancer, Pasha Kovalev, for the next performance where they performed a Broadway routine and a quickstep. In week 8, Johnson was randomly paired with contemporary dancer Neil Haskell for the next dances where they performed a jazz routine and a paso doble routine. During the following results show, Johnson was announced as a top 4 finalist of the season. Throughout the season Johnson was praised for her passion, enthusiasm, prodigious talent, personality, strong dancing and versatility in the different routines. In the end, Johnson garnered more votes than her fellow finalists and was subsequently crowned America's favorite dancer, beating out Danny Tidwell, Neil Haskell, and Lacey Schwimmer.

Since winning SYTYCD, Johnson has concentrated on teaching rather than dancing since, but has expressed a desire to pursue a professional dancing career, possibly even on Broadway.^[5] Johnson has made appearances as a performer and teacher at numerous events and workshops, appearing at charity events.^[6] As part of those activities, she has travelled abroad to locations such as Iceland (with SYTYCD choreographers Dan Karaty and Shane Sparks and Season 3 runner-up Danny Tidwell), Australia^[7] (alongside fellow Season 3 contestant Kameron Bink) and South Africa.^[5][8]

In 2008, Johnson was a pro dancer at the Dance Times Square Showcase benefit held on October 25.^[9] She was partnered with SYTYCD finalist Neil Haskell.

In 2009, Johnson began the year as the Special Guest Artist at the Merrimack Hall Second Annual Evening of Dance in Huntsville, Alabama. (SYTYCD Season 4 winner Joshua Allen taught a master hip-hop class there a few days later.)^[10] She later appeared at the St. Louis Auto Show and was a member of the Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet^[11] company in New York City for a time.

Johnson taught dance master classes for the East Coast Movement on August 25, 2010, along with Kameron Bink.,^[12]

She appeared in April 2003 (Reference: 花井美里, please confirm) and in September 2003, she appeared in Bunkasha Publishing’s magazine ‘’まぁるまん’’. In 2004 she made guest appearances on various Japanese variety shows such as 音箱登龍門 and began to be an established gravure idol.^{[citation needed]} On June 22, 2005 she made her singing debut when GENEON Entertainment (ジェネオンエンタテインメント)released her maxi single "Premonition" in a CD+DVD bundle. She appeared in Metal Gear Solid 3 in some posters.

Ayaka Komatsu (小松 彩夏, Komatsu Ayaka) is a Japanese model/actress. She was born on July 23, 1986 in Ichinoseki, Iwate Prefecture.

Modeling career[link]

Her modeling agency is Amuse inc. She was a regular model of the now defunct Candy^[1] magazine. She also appeared in the Winter 2002-2003 "Angel Blue" fashion catalog and was on the cover of the manga Young Sunday dated April 7, 2005.

She was a member of the 2004 edition of the Japanese modeling quartet named Nittelligenic.^[2] Prior to this, she did a few swimsuit layouts and continues to do them for magazines such as Sabra.

She has released seven photobooks, and six idol DVDs. In order of release date, the photobook titles are: Ayaka no Natsu, Nicchoku, Summer Date, Moon Doll, Cheeeeeez!♥, and Ayaka. She has acted in the following movies: "Odoru Daisousasen THE MOVIE 2" (her role in this film was relatively minor; she gets attacked by a vampire), "koibumi", "Master of Thunder", "A Perfect Day for Love Letters", "Drift" and "Drift 2" (later released as "Drift Deluxe Edition"), and "Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru" (which opened in Japan on January 20, 2007, and later in Europe under the English title "My Sister, My Love"). The Italian translation lists a movie named "Suspect X" that was released in 2008. She announced that she will be in Infection Islands (or "Pandemic") that was released in January 2009.

She also appeared in the reality show "Idol Michi" and made a commercial for Takara, "Popura 2," as well as an award-winning commercial for the soft drink Fanta. In 2008, she made a commercial for Circle K in which she bites into four sandwiches.

Arguably, her best known job was as Minako Aino/Sailor V/Sailor Venus in the series Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon.

Since PGSM wrapped up, Ayaka was in the cast of a TV show called Dandori Musume ("Appointment Girls"). Her role in Dandori Musume is more comic than tragic, in contrast to her PGSM role. Her latest TV shows are dramas called Girl's Life and "Bambino". CD Japan lists a show called Uranaishi Tenjin ("Fortune Teller's Display") with her in the cast. In 2008 she appeared in Average^[3] and in episode 7 of Aren't You a Criminal?.^[4]

In October 2007, she acted in a play called "Unlucky Days". In July 2008, she acted in a play called "Every Little Thing".

She had a recurring role in the summer Fuji TV drama Buzzer Beat, reuniting with her former Sailor Moon cast member Keiko Kitagawa, who had the lead female role as well as with Yamashita Tomohisa as Ayaka made a cameo appearance on his previous drama Kurosagi.
