XMESH: History-Dependent Selection Caching
This video demonstrates some new features of XMesh MX v1.1. In particular, the ability to save selection channels with the cache, and the option to disable inter-frame optimizations, thus allowing an XMesh Loader to be saved over the existing XMesh sequence with one frame offset. This opens the door for history-dependent accumulation of modifier stack influences over time, in this case the creation of a selection trail.
Using a Genome modifier, the selection can be faded off over time, and arbitrary deformation modifiers could be applied to the selection on the stack to produce displacement effects.

A Novel Approach for 'Making Sense' out of the Copenhagen Interpretation
This is a talk I gave at the Quantum Theory: Reconsideration of Foundations 6 Conference in Vaxjo, Sweden on June 12th, 2012. It summarizes a framework based on some original ideas for making sense out of the mathematical formalism of quantum mechanics, and provides an interpretation that is closest in spirit to the Copenhagen Interpretation, except that it provides answers to several "why" questions which that interpretation leaves unresolved. I hope you will find this framework interesting.
A few clarifications on specific ideas I tried to convey in my talk but now think didn't do very well:
9:42 I meant to simply state this: in order for two time dimensions to be distinct, they must be orthogonal because from special relativity we know that non-orthogonal time dimensions cannot be distinguished.
11:51 When I said" What happens when the period is longer than tau_a" I misspoke. tau_A is proportional to the period no matter how long. What I meant to say was, "what happens if we consider time intervals that are longer than the period."
12:34 the "geometric set up" I refer to is just this: Two orthogonal time dimensions, one of which is shorter than the other, and which are compared indirectly by means of the periodic rotation of the amplitude in the abstract plane formed by them.
13:02 the part I skipped was going to show why the postulated mechanism for indirectly comparing the two time dimensions can be considered a "symmetry": the mechanism is invariant under time reversal because the rotation of the amplitude must go both forward and backward 'simultaneously'. This is required in order to avoid for the indirect comparison to become a net transformation between the time dimensions (A net transformation would imply that the time dimensions are no longer orthogonal, and therefore no longer distinct). But that means each phase factor derived from this mechanism is only associated with the square root of all possible spacetime manifestations of the areatime object (since one half of the 'superposition of 2 rotations' in the exponent corresponds to the square root of the coefficient). Thus, the wave function, which is only associated with one of the two complex conjugate phase factors, is also associated only with the square root of all possible spacetime manifestations. To obtain the representation of all possible spacetime manifestations, one must take its absolute square, which in this context amounts to placing the two rotations 'on top' of each other. When the to rotations are 'on top' of each other, this becomes just the identity transformation (mathematically the product of two complex conjugate phases), which preserves the distinctness of the two time dimensions, as required.
22:56 Here I don't think I emphasized enough what I was trying to point out: If one conceives of the worldlines of the path integral as "actual" worldlines, then there is problem with special relativity which to my knowledge has not been pointed out before: the spacetime events which correspond to the termination of the worldlines leading up to those regions where the probability amplitude to find a particle vanishes become frame-dependent. But according to special relativity only the order of (spacelike separated) events can depend on an observer frame, not whether they actually occur or not.
On the other hand, considering the worldlines of the path integral as actualizable worldlines avoids this problem altogether: Since they are not actual spacetime objects, their termination is not a spacetime event. The only spacetime events are the actual "measurements" of the particles, and the occurrence of these is definitely not frame-dependent.
Further and more detailed information on this framework, can be found at deep blue, the University of Michigan's repository:

A non-technical overview is provided in the paper ' A Novel Way of 'Understanding' Quantum Mechanics, while the paper which presents a fairly complete version is called 'A Dimensional Theory of Quantum Mechanics'. Another comprehensive paper , which aims to improve the presentation of the latter and incorporate newer results is currently in the works.

Beyond the Frame
http://www.mediaed.org
This DVD compilation offers a series of stand-alone interviews with some of the most prominent scholars, experts, and activists in political and social thought that critique mainstream media's coverage of the war on terrorism. This accessible format is designed to allow educators to bring the voices of these cultural analysts directly into their classrooms.
Launched in September 2001, Beyond the Frame is a series of interviews with leading scholars, experts, and activists offering alternative perspectives on the 9/11 tragedy and its aftermath. Originally a web-only project, the interviews were(and continue to be) available free of charge via streaming video through MEF's website. The project was a response to MEF's alarm at the dangerously restricted range of views presented by the mainstream media, largely confined to the opinions of political elites and a commercial frame dependent on advertisers and ratings.
Featuring some of the most prominent names in political and social thought, the site has been accessed to date by tens of thousands of people seeking alternatives to mainstream media coverage in a post-9/11 world. Created in response to educator requests, the DVD will allow these interviews to be shown in the classroom.
Featuring Interviews with: Seth Ackerman, Belquis Ahmadi, Joan Blades, Maliha Chishti, Noam Chomsky, Jo Commerford, Kevin Danaher, Cynthia Enloe, Henry Giroux, Janine Jackson, Robert Jensen, Sut Jhally, Darryl Kimball, Michael Kimmel, Mhahsa Khanbabai, Naomi Klein, Manning Marable, Mark Crispin Miller, Bernie Sanders, Ritu Sharma, Vandana Shiva, and Alisa Solomon.

The Origin of Life, the first cell life.
There remains the great unsolved problem of the creation of the first cell life.
Back in ancient Greece, Aristotle came up with the idea of a special force in the universe that led to the spontaneous generation of life. Although his theory has been disproven by experiments this video will explain how the electromagnetic force can form the spontaneous momentum and physical structure for the reproduction of the first cell life. Even the boundary condition with the variation of self-replication that is needed for Darwin's theory of evolution can be explained by the physics of this one universal process. The carrier of the electromagnetic force is the light photon and light has momentum this forms the driving force for the evolution of the first cell life. Momentum is frame dependent therefore we have a process that forms its own reference frame or boundary condition. This simple dynamic process is universal and can be seen in the spontaneous formation of bubbles in a soap solution. All that is need is a supply of energy from sunlight and varying temperature changes from the local environment. This process forms an infinity of possibilities within such a process the greatest probability is that life will arise! The uncertainly and probability that cell life needs for the variation and mutations for Darwin's theory of evolution to work is formed at the quantum level of the atoms.
In the video we see the spontaneous generation of protocells with no DNA forming from a reaction between a few basic chemicals.

Amazing Science explaining time as a physical process
In this science theory it is the forward momentum of light that forms the arrow of time and the broken symmetry of spacetime. If our eyes worked at a different wave length we would be able to see that everything is radiating light wave of electromagnetic radiation continuously.
Forming individual rainbows of light within a dance of creation
The waves of light will only collapse into photons when they come into contact with the atoms of an object. Therefore the atoms of the hand and eye will collapse the wave function just like any other object.
In this theory beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder!
Modern science has no understanding of time, no understanding of why the future is always uncertain. It should not be beyond science to explain time as a scientific physical process. This video put forward the ideas of an artist that are also based on modern science.
The motion or continuous change that we see and feel as time is formed by the inward absorption and outward emission of light. Light has momentum and momentum is frame dependent therefore we have an infinite number of reference frames. The rate that time flows will be relative to the energy or mass of each ref-frame.
This is new science the same process that forms the freedom for creativity also forms the greater degrees of freedom for the flow of entropy within the 2nd law of thermodynamics. The spontaneous emission of light forming the spherical 4π symmetry of the wave function forms the organization for the spontaneous disorganization of entropy.
