Quiche recipe - How to make ham and broccoli quiche
www.howdini.com Yeah, we know the old cliche about real men and quiche, but we think anyone would eat this yummy ham and broccoli quiche. Lauren Chattman from Pillsbury shows how easy it is to make. Recipe: How to make ham and broccoli quiche 1. Heat oven to 375°F, and roll out refrigerated pie crust. Allow to soften for 15 minutes for pliability. 2. Fit pie crust into 9-inch glass pie pan. Fold under the pie edge that is hanging over the plate. 3. Crimp the edges: two fingers on the inside, one on the outside, and push on the edge of the pie plate with the outside finger. 4. Make the filling: Layer ham, cheese and thawed broccoli in pie crust-lined pan. In medium bowl, beat all remaining ingredients until well blended. Pour over broccoli. 5. Bake 35 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving. Cut into wedges. Pillsbury's ham and broccoli quiche recipe serves six.

Quiche Lorraine - recipe
The classic French savoury pie that will warm you up on those cold nights. Find this and many more recipes on the Giallozafferano App in English itunes.apple.com *** Bonjour, mes amis! Today we're in the GialloZafferano kitchen to make one of the most well-known French savoury tarts: Quiche Lorraine. Quiche Lorraine has a base of pastry crust, and has a filling of bacon, Gruyere, cream and eggs. Let's see what we'll need. • 7 oz of smoky bacon • 1 ¼ cups of grated gruyere cheese • 3 egg yolks • 1 whole egg • Pepper, salt and nutmeg • 1 ¼ cups of heavy cream • And 12 oz of pastry dough -- you can find the recipe on this channel Let's see how to make our quiche First of all, roll out the pastry dough with a rolling pin to about 1/8 of an inch thick. I'm using a ceramic pie mould with a 10 inch diameter, but you can use any similar pie tin of whatever material you have on hand. Butter and flour your pie mould, lay the dough inside, press it in and then pierce it all over with a fork. Then, put a sheet of parchment paper inside of the form and into this pour some beans. As you can see, I've pierced the bottom of the crust. Now, place the parchment paper inside, like this, and pour in the dried beans. These will weigh down the dough so it doesn't bubble up. Now all that's left is to bake the crust for 15 minutes at 380F, then take it out, remove the paper and beans and put it back in for another 5 minutes at 350F so that the crust is firm and golden. In a pot, set the bacon on ...

Betty's Super Spinach Feta Quiche
In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make a Super Spinach Feta Quiche. This quiche uses a premade pie crust for simplicity, and it is filled with a great mixture of eggs, milk, butter, spinach and feta cheese. It bakes in the oven for a short time, making a quick and dramatic treat. Ingredients: 1 unbaked standard pie crust, rolled into a circle (I used a premade refrigerated pie crust, but you will find recipes for pie crusts in bettyskitchen, such as Plain Pie Crust.) 3 eggs, well-beaten 1 cup milk ¼ cup butter, melted 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour ½ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper 9-oz. package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well-drained. (I used a paper towel to squeeze the spinach dry after draining.) 4-oz. crumbled feta cheese Place the unbaked pie crust in a quiche dish or a 9-inch pie plate, pressing until the edges of the pie crust come up the sides to the top. Flute the top edge, if desired. With a fork, prick bottom and sides of pie crust. Place the pie crust in a 400 degree (F) oven and bake for 6 to 8 minutes, until golden. Remove from oven and set aside. Reduce oven heat to 375 degrees (F). In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 well-beaten eggs, 1 cup milk, ¼ cup melted butter, 2 tablespoons flour, ½ teaspoon salt, and ¼ teaspoon white pepper. Whisk or stir with a large spoon, until mixture is combined. Stir in a 9-oz. package of frozen chopped spinach (thawed and drained) and 4-oz. crumbled feta cheese. Pour mixture into baked pie crust ...

Simple quiche recipes - How to make mini quiches
www.howdini.com These individual-sized quiches are just the thing to perk up a brunch table. They taste great, they're easy to make, and they're darned cute. Jenny Flake, a former Pillsbury Bake-Off finalist, shows us how it's done. Quiche recipe How to make mini quiches 1. Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 16 (2 3/4x1 1/4-inch) muffin cups with cooking spray. 2. Separate each can of crescent dough into 8 triangles. Press 1 triangle on bottom and up side of each muffin cup. 3. In large bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in onion, spinach, salt and pepper until well mixed. Fold in cheese. Fill each cup to the top with egg mixture (do not overfill). 4. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and edges of rolls are golden brown. 5. Remove mini quiches from the pan and serve warm. Pillsbury's mini quiche recipe makes 16 servings.

Betty's Simple and Elegant Quiche Lorraine Recipe
In this video, Betty demonstrates her Simple and Elegant Quiche Lorraine Recipe. It is a savory blend of eggs, half-and-half, cheeses, and bacon, cuddled in a crisp crust. Great for entertaining! Ingredients: 1 frozen deep-dish pie crust, thawed 8 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled 1 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups half-and-half milk 3 eggs, well-beaten 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (This quiche is very spicy. If you like less spice, cut the ground red pepper down to only half as much.) Thaw the deep-dish pie crust, and then bake it for about 6 to 8 minutes in an oven that has been preheated to 425 degrees. Remove from oven and cool to room temperature. Sprinkle 8 slices of crisp, crumbled bacon evenly over the bottom of the pie crust. Next ,sprinkle the shredded Swiss cheese, followed by the shredded Cheddar cheese. Now, blend 1 1/2 cups half-and-half with the 3 well-beaten eggs. Add in 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon (or less) ground red pepper. Stir thoroughly, until all spices are mixed evenly into the egg/milk mixture. Pour over the bacon and cheeses in the deep-dish pie crust. Reduce oven heat to 375 degrees, and then bake for about 40 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. Cut into pie-shaped wedges, and serve ...
