ROLLING MOVIE - Ofiicial Theatrical Trailer
rollingmovie.com - The giddy highs and crushing lows of Ecstasy use are felt by a group of people looking to escape their troubles in this independent drama. It's Friday night in Los Angeles, and a handful of young hipsters are on their way to a massive rave party at a Los Angeles warehouse. Twentyish Summer (Rachel Hardisty) is looking for an evening of casual fun after breaking up with Josh (Joshua Harper), a high school kid who was taking things to seriously for her taste. Matt (Brian William Toth) is happy to have ended a bad relationship with his latest boyfriend, and is looking forward to blowing off some steam with his friend Samantha (Christine Cowden), a self-centered would-be actress. Dan (Albert Rothman) devotes his days to burning through his trust fund, and is looking for any excitement the night has to offer. Sarah (Angie Greenup) is a high school teacher who just wants to forget her work for a few hours. And Dustin (Garrett Brawith) is a drug dealer who is on shaky emotion ground after his girlfriend Rain (Sanoe Lake) walked out on him; what he doesn't know is she was pregnant with his child but had an abortion and is now wary of him. Nearly everyone at the party is looking for romance and hungry for Ecstasy, the club drug that's become de rigueur among ravers, and Dustin is more than happy to supply their demand. But a batch of tainted Ecstasy has been making the rounds; it's already claimed the lives of three users, and there's no telling where the deadly ...

This is Spinal Tap trailer - "Cheese Rolling" (long version)
In my opinion, THE BEST Spinal Tap trailer ever, and probably also the longest at over four minutes long. Look closely for what appear to be members of Tap in the cheese rolling festival. I apologize for the low quality, as this is off a ten-year-old CD-ROM, with the original video compressed with Cinepak (yuck!).

ROLLING MOVIE TRAILER
rollingmovie.com --- A med student, a teenage runaway, a lawyer, a drag queen, a high school basketball player, a drug dealer, and a teacher all cross paths in the Ecstasy-riddled LA underground party scene. Rolling is a turbulent journey that takes a tough yet entertaining look at this unique drug phenomenon. With the pace and style of a documentary, Rolling captures the essence of Ecstasy culture, exposing the delicate balance of relationships and responsibilities with chasing this drug-induced euphoria.

This is a small video we have done of one of our trailers being loaded. The unique feature is the way one person can load and unload the trailer by them selves. 2012 reel
Equipment: RED EPIC, Phantom Flex, Phantom Gold, SmallHD DP6 & DP4
For the past few years, SnapRoll Media has been at the forefront of remotely controlled aerial camera systems. Like most, we started out using DSLR cameras to record video, but it wasn’t long before the image quality wasn’t up to our standards. We began designing and building larger airframes to carry the weight of the cameras we and our clients wanted to use.
Our hard work paid off. We were the first to successfully carry the RED ONE digital cinema camera safely and smoothly. Then, we added Vision Research’s Phantom Flex and Phantom Gold high speed cameras to our arsenal. Furthermore, we had the opportunity to be the first in the world to successfully fly the new RED EPIC on our proven remote controlled aerial system thanks to Jarred Land and Jim Jannard.
We are constantly researching, developing, and fine tuning our helicopters to carry larger cameras with maximum stability. The greatest reward is seeing our clients' faces when we get the shot that no crane, cable cam, or full size helicopter was able to capture. 2012 will be full of incredible projects along with further R&D; on bigger and better remotely controlled (RPV) aerial camera systems. Stay tuned!

Rolling Madness 3D - Runthrough
Like me on Facebook: www.facebook.com A few days ago I found this fun and addictive but hard game called Rolling Madness 3D, which is a freeware remake of the classic Marble Madness arcade game from 1984. I've never played Marble madness before. I used the mouse for control after not being fast enough with the keyboard. A trackball is probably an even better controller choice. After a few nights of intense gaming I finally managed to beat all the six levels in a row, (since there are no saved games) and here it is. Recorded with Fraps and edited with Windows Movie Maker. What I didn't know was that after you beat the last level, the game restarts from the first one (practice race excluded) and you get to keep the accumulated score. So I just kept going until the time ran out at the end of my third run. The second run was clearly my best one. I had to speed things up a bit to fit into 10 minutes. Feel free to post a response if you beat my score (232540 level 16), which probably isn't that hard for some people. Rolling Madness 3D homepage: www.lucaelia.com

The Dark Knight - Joker's Semi Flip Being Filmed (Fair Use)
Ground-level footage from July 2007 of the filming of the flipping/rolling of a 52 foot articulated tractor-trailer on the streets of Chicago for the movie "The Dark Knight", in theaters and IMAX now. If you are curious how they did it, it was pretty simple (making it flip anyways...Making it stay together required other steps). They installed a powerful ram/piston on the bottom of the trailer, seen here: host.trivialbeing.org The piston slams into the ground, propelling the trailer into the air. To get it to roll forward rather than just bounce/flip/crash into buildings, a pair of gear-like plates are welded to the front of the tractor. They go all the way down to just a couple of inches from the ground. Here's a picture of the teeth on the semi: host.trivialbeing.org Or here for a smaller and color-corrected picture: www.hollywoodchicago.com For a full overview of the testing and filming of this shot, watch this: www.youtube.com Source: MyFox Chicago FAIR USE NOTICE: This post may contain copyrighted material the use of which has not always been specifically authorized by the copyright owner. The Seventh Curse (trailer)
Here's yet another winner from the director of "The Cat" and "Riki-Oh". This one takes a little time to get rolling, but once it does - hoo boy! - "The Seventh Curse" reveals itself to be a crazy, hopped-up asian "Raiders of the Lost Ark" enhanced with liberal doses of kung-fu, black magic, nudity, and hokey latex gore. Kids especially will fall in love with the adorable antics of the bloodthirsty flying mutant fetus monster. Basically, the entire flick is a series of one jaw-dropping moment after another. Five stars!
