Many of you have seen the images of monks going on alms offering early in the morning. Fully dressed in their robes, carrying a bowl, and walking from one house to the next. But what is this experience really like for the monk? In this video, I wanted to share my experience of what it's like to go on our daily alms offering or Pintabata in Thailand. The experience of going on alms round as a Theravada Buddhist monk for me is very touching and personal. I wanted to make this video to give you a better understanding of the overall experience, so you can imagine what it would be like to be in our shoes.
