Morphine - Saddest Song (Live, WMBR - 1992)
Morphine - Saddest Song (Live, WMBR - 1992)
Saddest Song (Live - WMBR '92) by Morphine From the album "At Your Service" (2009) Morphine is a band that ran from 1989-1999. The band combined jazz, blues, and rock elements to create a new genre they dubbed "Low Rock." In 1999, singer, writer, multi-instrumentalist and frontman Mark Sandman died of a heart attack, and the group was disbanded. In 2009, At Your Service was released, a collection of unreleased material accumulated as a result of the band's tendency to record nearly everything. As well as a handful of alternate recordings and live performances, the anthology includes parts IV and V of "I Know You," the multi-part suite of songs started on Good (1992) and continued on Like Swimming (1997). Morphine: Mark Sandman on tritar, guitar, bass, vocals, piano, organ Dana Colley on sax Billy Conway and Jerome Deupree on percussion
