Do Cute Kids Really Like Hip Hop? - Azealia Banks - "212" (clean version) - You Review #07
We rounded up the rug rats from our UK office and asked them what they thought of hyped US rapper Azealia Banks' new party jam "212". The responses were better than any music journalist could ever deliver. To see last week's episode of "You Review" click Previous in the top right corner, and be sure to check back next Tuesday for the fresh new episode. ** Music journalism is boring, so for YOU REVIEW we take our cameras to the streets to source reviews from actual humans instead of the snobs. New Creative Art of Journalism: INTERNET in the struggle.. Rap Music connects people
# This is a copy of the newest Idea, created and upped by thejuicemedia. THX ! Rap News - episode 4 - resumes its lyrical forays into the world of rhyme and reason, exploring what's been happening on the Internets in 2010. Robert Foster - recently returned from his long-leave vacation in the Caribbean (prematurely interrupted due to the disastrous BP oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico) - takes a look at Senator Joe LIEberman's proposed bill to grant the Prez the power to shut down the web in case of "an emergency". But - most importantly - we discuss something else which has been leaking even more profusely than a BP oil well. An organisation of ultra-inspiring infectively-courageous cybernauts - aka Wikileaks - has been taking on the Fistagon and giving that slumbering Fourth Estate a much-needed kick in the arse, reminding us how important the internet can be as a channel of information. What is Wikileaks? Who is Julian Assange? And why is it so important that we know? Find out with your charming host, Robert Foster. ****************** NOTE TO RE-UPLOADERS: please could you wait at least 3 days from date of our upload. We hope you understand. Thank you for your support! ****************** Find out more about: Wikileaks: wikileaks.org Lieberman talking about the proposed Cybersecurity bill on CNN www.youtube.com 'Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act' - the 'Killswitch' bill which is now being considered: en.wikipedia.org Wikileaks leaked video - 'Collateral Murder ...

Electronic Beats Presents Dabrye (Part 1)
The electronic music magazine Electronic Beats presents Slices, an investigation into "the world of electronic music via extensive artist and label features." The January 2009 edition of Slices features experimental hip-hop wunderkind Dabrye (Tadd Mullinix), a Michigan native and longtime artist for the Ann Arbor-based label Ghostly International. The video features interviews with Dabrye (who has made music under such pseudonyms as James T. Cotton and 2 AM/FM) interspersed with Dabrye's daily activities. Dabrye speaks of his music's lineage and influences, its processes and intentions. Electronic Beats' feature on Dabrye is an altogether insightful and thorough look into the man's life and music, showing the viewer glimpses of sincerity and earnestness often lost in translation between the artist and witness.
