Kaali Topi Lal Rumaal (2000)

Plot: Vijay lives a poor lifestyle in India along with his widowed mom and brother, Raja. When their mom become seriously ill, they do not have money to pay for her medicines, Raja steals some money much to the chagrin of Vijay, who beats him and asks him to leave, but he is unable to save his mother. He decides to return the stolen money but finds the recipient, also named Vijay, has killed himself, leaving behind his near-destitute mother and a sister, Shalu. When told about her son's passing, the mother has a seizure and is hospitalized. When she recovers Vijay decides to not tell her about her son's passing and becomes her son instead. He joins the army and becomes a Commando. He single=handedly captures a terrorist, Master D.D., and holds him in a cell. Vijay then meets with Mohini and gets married to her. What Vijay does not know is that Master D.D. is but a mere pawn, the real kingpin behind this gang is an unknown assailant known only as Kaali Topi Laal Rumaal; that Raja, who has taken to petty crime as a career, is part of this gang and had accepted an assignment to abduct Shalu; and to complicate Vijay's life even more the Indian Army comes across evidence linking Mohini with D.D.'s gang.

Plot: Four friends get together to start their career in crime, and extortion. They call themssevles G.A.N.G., which means G=Gangu; A=Abdul; N=Nihal Singh; and G=Gary Rozario. All four come from different cultural and religious backgrounds, but their roots are build on friendship and trust. They do succeed in their criminal goals, but Gangu is arrested and sentenced for five years. Before going to jail, he asks them to promise to go straight, to which they all agree. When Gangu is released, he is pleased to find that Abdul is now driving a taxi, his mother is well looked after, and that Nihal and Gary have also started doing business. It is when Gangu meets his sweetheart, Sanam, and proposes marriage, that he learns that all is not well in their world.

Plot: Sapheran Parvati, along with her newborn son, Suraj, watches helplessly as her husband, Gangu, is wrongly accused of theft, and then beaten to death by Raghuveer Singh, Bhairav Singh, and Sampath. She cremates his body, nurses a snake and Suraj, and swears to avenge Gangu's death. She is looked after by Dharma Lohar, who assists her in bringing up Suraj. Years later Suraj has grown up, Parvati is all set to avenge Gangu's death and get him married to Dharma's daughter, Kajri. Her plans fall apart when she finds out that Suraj has fallen in love with Reshma, Raghuveer's daughter, and he may decide not to exact vengeance against his future father-in-law.

Plot: Mary lives a wealthy lifestyle near Panaji, Goa, along with her brother, David and his wife, Eliza, and studies in a Bombay college. The question remains, did Ramesh really kill Goyal, if not, then who committed this crime, and what exactly was Ramesh doing in Verma's house in the middle of the night?

Plot: Shyam Sunder lives a wealthy lifestyle in a small village in India along with his widowed step-mother, Nirmala. He has taken to alcohol, and womanizing, goes away very often without informing anyone, and frequently asks Nirmala for money. One day Lucky informs Nirmala that he has seen Shyam's dead body. She summons the Police, who arrive but find the dead carcass of a bear, and eventually decide that Shyam may have gone to Goa without informing Nirmala. Subsequently a young man named Prakash, who claims he is the son of Lucknow-based Tehsildar Somshekhar, arrives there, meets with Nirmala, informs her that he is Shyam's friend and business partner, and a author by profession. She permits him to live in her spacious house, but subsequently asks him to move to the guest house. Prakash meets and falls in love with Roopa, who lives a middle-class lifestyle with her widowed mother, Radha, and servant, Gopal. Soon Roopa also falls in love with him and introduces him to her mom, who approves of him. Prakash will soon find out that all is not well when he comes across a framed photograph of Roopa in the company of a young man, and yet another photograph with the same man, as well as a child in Roopa's arms. Then he is told about an abandoned house that has a ghastly secret. Prakash must now find out who the man in the photograph is, whether Roopa is a mother of the child in the photograph as well as the secret of the abandoned house, and the reason why Shyam is still missing. While he sets about to do this, he does not know he is under the scrutiny of several people in this quiet village - and at least one of them is ready to kill him.

Plot: Orphaned Raju, in the company of four elephants, has to perform with them at street corners, in order to keep alive. Slowly he amasses a fortune, and is able to build his own private zoo, housing tigers, lions, bears, and of course the four elephants. He treats all the animals as his friends. He meets with Tanu, and both fall in love. Tanu's dad, Ratanlal, is opposed to this alliance, but subsequently relents, and permits the young couple to get married. Tanu is unhappy with the amount of time Raju spends with his animal friends, and this causes some bitterness between them. Things do not improve when a child is born, as Tanu fears that one day the child will be harmed by one of the animals, and hence Raju is told to make a choice between his animal friends or his wife and son.
