ICG Supplier Portal Demonstration
ICG Consulting has been helping companies manage their suppliers invoices and supply chain transactions as well as offering other business process solutions for years. Reducing expenses and saving money is a high priority of every company and as we head into 2010, ICG is making an effort to help businesses do just that. The most recent version of their popular supplier portal solution is no exception. It is built on Adobe® Flex® which takes less time to set up and is easier to use and maintain. Though the portal solution is more simplistic in its design, it is still as flexible and secure and more powerful than ever. The modular design of ICGs vendor portal makes it easy for companies to start slow and add more money saving functionality as you go. A supplier portal, also referred to as a vendor portal, is a tool that provides vendors and suppliers constant web based access to payment status, collaborative payment dispute capabilities, and a vehicle to manage chargebacks or deductions. Supplier portals also provide a way for companies to transform supplier related activities back to the supplier by enabling supplier self-service. It helps suppliers save money by offering an entry point for vendors to submit electronic invoices thus, reducing the number of incoming paper invoices. Another means by which ICGs supplier portal solutions offer compelling savings for companies is through dynamic discounting programs. This accelerated payment process allows buyers and sellers to ...

Liferay, portals, & social product marketing
The demand for closer engagement with customers and users is driving companies to use portals in new and interesting ways. Throw in all of the social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, crossed with sales & marketing automation practices and technologies, and the opportunities for companies to use the web as one of their main "store fronts" are huge. In this interview with Liferay's Paul Hinz, we talk about this use of portals, of course, involving Liferay. He spends some time talking about social product marketing, but also goes over the "good, old fashioned" portal features in the most recent Liferay offering. Disclosure: Liferay is a client, and sponsored this video.

100 Ways to die in Portal
*ATTENTION PEOPLE WHO THINK THIS VIDEO HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PORTAL* Did you even count? 'Cause we did, and we counted 79 portal themed and/or related deaths. And if you read the spoiler warning, you are supposed to play through portal a second time if you don't get all the jokes and haven't paid attention to the dialogue. As for the rest of the deaths: sorry. Portal has only 9 'real' deaths, so even with the references from the 5-hour long gameplay we still had to resort to other things like team fortress, the black button, and yes, one of us found dr Hax hilarious, so he is in there too. As for using Gmod: would you rather have watched this whole vid with every seperate turret counted as a different way to day? or watched it from first person with no death animation? would you? I think not! Furthermore, we didn't have a working player model and NPC of Chell, so that's why we had to use Kleiner. -------ATTENTION ENDS HERE. ENJOY THE VIDEO-------- After months of working, filming and delaying we have finally released our video: 100 ways to die in Portal. The video shows 100 comedic ways to die with references to the game. 100 ways to die has been done before, such as 100 ways to die in gmod and 100 ways to die in halo. But it had never been done in Portal so we thought it would be up to us to do it. The video shows 100 ways to die, but we could have easily made 100 more. Unfortunately the video would have become way too long so we have made a selection of 100 and put ...

Portal 2 Unboxing!
Some questions you might have about this video: All Portal 2 designs you see in this video (game cover and cd cover) were all made using Gimp 2 and were all designed/put together by my brother, Devin. The marjority of the pictures/ words, were used from actual images found on Google.com. The region code design on the spine of the case/ back warning sign/ bar code/ was recreated by my brother and I. New Egg NEVER had this offer on their website. That was all part of the humor shown in the video. All of the "bonus" items in the end of the video all belong to me. Here are the high definition pictures used in the video. Again, most of these pictures were used from Google.com. Everything was put together by my brother using Gimp 2. Portal 2 Game case cover (back cover was completely made up by me and my brother. We used other PS3 game covers for a reference.) sadpanda.us Portal 2 CD Cover (Completely designed by my brother. Again, we used a reference from other PS3 CD covers.) sadpanda.us If you look close enough, there is an Easter Egg (hidden picture) in the game cover picture. If you find it, mention it in the comments! ;) I hope everyone enjoyed this video and understand the hard work actually put into these designs. I can't wait to play Portal 2 on the PS3 when it comes out April 19th, 2011. Let me know what you thought about the video! Thanks for watching! DISCLAMER: This video is purely for entertainment purposes and in no way meant to offend. I do not own Portal 2 and ...

Amazing Bottom Slap!
A special thanks to the girls from Pearl London.
Please visit our website for more slow motion film tests http://www.photography-factory.co.uk
No harm done, Lola giggled a little and said it was all normal for her and that she had suffered much worse in the name of art or curiosity. We learned a lot from the results, but...there is one strange thing. Everyone who was there that day is still finding tiny little bits of red glitter turning up everywhere in their daily life, at home, in the car, on clothes, even on other people we meet? etc We are all sure we have never seen red glitter before but now the stuff keeps catching our eye and making us smile. Now even after many days we are still finding it on objects that are 60 miles away from the shoot and have never been near the studio??? I think we opened a portal in time and space with that spank..... Please do comment if you find some yourself...
On analysing the film we noticed a few things, one that we should have seen that pimple on her butt before shooting and filmed from the other side..... we could of course remove it in post, but as these are experiments we though we would leave it in as a permanent reminder. Notes to selves, Next time: get the biggest monitor possible when using the phantom under big lights. Also maybe to not be shy... and look at what you are about to film in every tiny detail (no mater how distracting) before saying action. If you are being picky Lola could also be a little higher in the frame, we argued this at the time as that is a trade off; because then she would look elevated and we felt that looked a little unnatural. Also when Eva's arm comes in, it would look quite short and you would not be able to follow the swing though, it would appear in frame later, which kills that little bit of anticipation and lengthens the gap between the shadow coming across and being able to see the GBH (Glitter Bad hand) swinging in.
If you liked this film, please take a good look at our other experiments here or at our website: http://www.photography-factory.co.uk where we will also post stills and a fully detailed technical breakdown, as well as unedited versions when we have a moment.
In this test we were using a Vision Research Phantom HD slow motion camera shooting to a 120 gig ram stack at 1000frames per second, the lens was a 35mm Carl Zeiss Planar T* wide open.
If you are inspired by this or any or our videos please leave a good comment.
If you are an agency minion do not rip us off, you can if you like get some slow motion viral photography at low cost made by us! info@photography-factory.co.uk please get in contact we are a lot of fun to work with. At photography-factory are are very experienced in slow motion, quite reasonable, and (just about) make our livings from creative film and photography. Plus we need some more money to pay for better tests...
No babes, hot or otherwise were harmed* in the making of this film.
We really hope someone see this and likes what we have done enough to tell his/her company to use some of our raw talent... and pay us some raw cash.
Virals should be fun.

ABU DHABI 2011 - time lapse film (shorter version)
The definitive version of 'Abu Dhabi - 2011' time lapse film.
It features the phenomenal original score by Vladimir Persan.
Do yourself a favour and watch this film with high quality speakers because the music Vlad composed truly deserves to be heard in all of its glory.
Hook your computer to multi-media speakers, home stereo, TV or headphones but DO NOT, for the sake of all that is holy, listen to the sound on the laptop's crappy built-in speaker or just as unforgivably; muted!!
UPDATE - 12 MARCH 2012 - Vladimir Persan's Original Soundtrack wins the nomination for 'BEST ORCHESTRAL/INSTRUMENTAL SONG at Hollywood Music in Media Awards 2012' !!!!
I’d like to thank Timesand Studios for their support on this project. I absolutely must thank Vladimir Persan for his help and the time and efforts he invested into creating the amazing original score. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the obliging staff of Arabian Construction Company and Arabtec - their project managers were utterly helpful and understanding - and all the safety staff that catered to my every need throughout the shoot. Lastly, I want to extend my super-special thanks to Mr. Ousama Ghannoum, Marketing and Media Director of Aldar. Without his help, this film would’ve never seen the light.
There was quite a media frenzy about this film; below are some of the newspapers, magazines and even TV networks that interviewed me:

Portal - Scary turret and anger and curiosity spheres (in "G major")
Comments strictly monitored. Or maybe the anger core is an emotion core currently set on anger... Well, with the cake sphere/core already done in a so-called "G major" manner, why not? For those of you complaining that "Your business is appreciated" is spoken when using the toilet at the beginning of Portal, I've put the toilet in too. For screenshot: impulse 101 (use a Half Life 2 weapon to prematurely knock off spheres), select portal gun, impulse 200 (hide weapon from screen) used. That's why "Health 100" is on the corner of the screen and no ammo count. Used notarget to prevent turret from shooting, and noclip to hover beside anger sphere/core. Crosshair 0 to hide aiming crosshair - it was "active" and thus in the way.DISCLAIMER: This is a FAN-MADE video. No infringement is intended nor inferred. No claims are being made. Israeli Diamond Industry Portal :Louis Selekane interview
Louis Selekane was interviewed by the Israeli Diamond Industry Portal during the Third International Rough Diamond Conference in Israel. He pointed out that about 50-60 percent of South Africa's clients are Israeli and added: "The Diamond Amendment Act focuses on value addition and the spin-offs are enormous. This has not deterred investors, many of which are from all over the world, including some of the biggest mining companies such as BHP and Rio Tinto.
