10 coolest psychedelic rock songs from the late 60.s. (USA)
..or should I say "10 coolest psychedelic rock songs from the late 60.s" except "The Doors"!? Anyway there is a rather interesting discussion going on surrounding this video, some people think its crap, while others seems to enjoy it, of course this is only a matter of taste, and to leave The Doors, Jefferson Airplane etc outside the list was not some kind of mistake from me, you could watch and listen to bands like them all over the Youtube, so in my lists I ignore all major acts, as I feel that a lot of great music has been sadly overlooked through the years.

Murphy Blend - Awsome Heavy Organ and Psychedelic Rock
Murphy Blend were responsible for one of the best albums released on Polydor's legendary Kuckuck label. They were a quintet comprising Wolf-Rodiger Uhlig (organ, cembalo, grand piano, vocals), Wolfgang Rumler (guitar, vocals), Andreas Scholz (bass) and Achim Schmidt (drums). "First Loss" was recorded in Union Studio, Munich, during October - December 1970, produced by Jonas Porst (the manager of Ihre Kinder!) and engineered by Thomas Klemt.

History of Psychedelic Rock 迷幻樂的歷史Part 1 (中文字幕)
stanley5.blogspot.com 史丹利五提供History of Psychedelic Rock 迷幻樂的歷史Part 1 7 Parts total 中文字幕Psychedelic rock is a style of rock music that attempts to replicate the mind-altering experiences of hallucinogenic drugs. It emerged during the mid 1960s among garage and folk rock bands in Britain and the United States. Psychedelic rock is a bridge from early blues-based rock to progressive rock and heavy metal, but it also drew on non-Western sources such as Indian music's rāgas and sitars. While the first contemporary musicians to be influenced by psychedelic drugs were in the jazz and folk scenes, the first use of the term "psychedelic" in popular music was by the "acid-folk" group The Holy Modal Rounders in 1964, with the song "Hesitation Blues."[citation needed] The first use of the word "psychedelic" in a rock music context is usually credited to The Deep, and the earliest known appearance of this usage of the word in print is in the title of their 1966 album The Psychedelic Moods of the Deep. Roky Erickson, lead singer of The 13th Floor Elevators, coined the term 'psychedelic rock' in a 1966 interview. In 1962, British rock embarked on a frenetic race of ideas that spread back to the US with the British Invasion. The folk music scene also experimented with outside influences. In the tradition of Jazz and blues many musicians began to take drugs, and include drug references in their songs. Beat Generation writers like William Burroughs, Jack Kerouac, Allen ...

Aphrodite's Child - 666 (Full Album Part 1)
Released in 1972, 666, was a double album by the greek band Aphrodite´s Child. 666 was Vangelis' concept, created with an outside lyricist, Costas Ferris. The music itself was an impressive display of Vangelis compositional abilities, combining psychedelic and progressive rock with ethnic instruments, choral chanting, recitations, and very advanced use of synthesizers and keyboards for the time. Eventually it became one of the main masterpiece´s of the early progressive and psychedelic albums. Video made by me An Uknown Amazing Band Just Check Them. Genre:Progressive/Psychedelic Rock Album:39 Laps some infos: Monkey3 are a psychedelic rock band from Lausanne, Switzerland, that is similar in style to bands like Beaver, latter day Celestial Season, Pink Floyd and especially 35007. They rely on hypnotic riffs and repetitive nature of music. In live situation this is all enhanced by light shows and by projecting images and snippets from movies on to the stage or a backdrop. The Birds Of War - Psychedelic Rock
Free form jamming from the old garage band days remixed from the original mono recording to give it a fake stereo effect and with war plane sound effects and miscellaneous pictures. This is the first video I didso it's fairly basic, but my main concern was the music! I think I've gotten better with the videos (I hope), and the levels on this are a little low, but oh well. You can't have everything, where would you put it?! This is part of a tribute to psychedelic music album that I am making. Lots of effects and general weirdness, done in the style of a Pink Floyd or Hawkwind sound (though not nearly as good!) BRAVO ALPHA 808 PRODUCTIONS 2008

89,357 Views - The hillarious but highly Rocking Greenhouse Effect Videos from their "Final band meeting" Of November 1992 at El Segundo California's Jet City Sound Studio have been spliced into other G.e clips. Four Songs were shot that night; Three Versions of "White Black Thang', Search and Destroy, Two Versions (Or more) of the Beatles cover version of "Please Please me", ...and ofcourse several for the somewhat uptemp G.e. Clark Hagins calls the Video for "Manipulation" his favourite; "We look like we're havin' fun there,..we look silly but one can tell that when we played live - We Rocked,..and we rocked hard,...we were a weird unusual band,..to say the least." Greenhouse Effect exploded in notoriety in 2007 with some of Google Videos Most watched clips World Wide; "Our drummer died in 1999 in a bizarre Gardening accident (Laughs)" says Clark Haggins. Ofcourse Hagins is only kidding as he is referring to hillarious Danish Drummer Palle Carlson , the Denmark Drummer who resembles Spinal Tap's first percussionist in old 1965 black and white clips. "Greenhouse Effect was a World sensation for quite a long time,..we attracted alot of attention and 50,000 Twitter Followers,...I never wanted all the internet fun to end,...but I do see things now finally slowing down in 2010" says Clark Hagins. "We only get about two Million looks a day now,...thats pathetic compared to the kind of business we used to do in 2008." - There are ofcourse no plans for Rock's most watched band to reassemble any time soon and Hagins sees the 1992 demise of the band as just another bizarre mistake from his life's journey; "We were around for like 7 years,...Me and Flipper (Phil Keegan Guitarist) had planned to be the biggest Rock Stars in the musical universe - but it never happened,... ,...until I was like 50 years old (Laughs) " says Haggins. "We watched all those music industry bands like Nirvana and Green Day hit it big while we did things like work in cubes and clean Pools,..its just a damn shame" says Higgins. Hagins says that the tired band eventually grew 'into futility' by late 92' ; "We had all these Great songs and a great live show but we made enemies with all of the biggest wigs in Hollyweird ...there was no way I was ever gonna kiss their arsses - I would clean Swimming Pools before I would do that (Laughs)." Hagins calls the Video for "Manipulation" the absolute Last Hurrah for G.E. ; "The End of the video is hella fucking cool - it looks like Ted is trying to fuck me in the ass and then Palle just picks his nose,.. its pure Lame Rock n roll the way you love it,..it's fuckin' hella cool " ================== 148,037 Views - "Ripping Reason" Comes roaring Out of the speakers with sheer Psychedelic Power !! It's not really a hit so-to-speak ,...its just a flat out Good solid song - A Great piece of Songwriting,...and it sounds Great At Jango Radio !! 'Ripping' was recorded in the frantic final days of G.e. and it doesn't rely on gimmicks like punk speed or guitar solos to get by,...it drudges along in pure melody to near abstract rock perfection and brilliance !!! The confused and tortured lyrics make this track a real winner in cyberspace - and a somewhat 'unusual' song for the always quirky G.e. !!!!!!!!! =============== Irie Bob. This 1992 Track is a real Winner for Greenhouse Effect Music Online and in particular at Youtube and GoogleVideo.Com "I started SuperNetCelebrities.Com with Homestead Web hosting who I found through Michael Savage's Website -...to help bands get exposure" says Clark Hagins in 2008. "Its my goal to make sure that Great bands like Los Angeles's Batlord get seen more,....and man, do I ever get them seen - ALOT". IRIE BOB IS THE Pixies-Like 60's Stooges Like track that appears as the second song on the 1995 "Fountain Weird CD" available at itunes and CD Baby. "The Song was originally entitled 'Yuri-Bawb' says Clark Higgins; "But when I suddenly saw the Red CD out of the boxes that day - In October of 1994 from Rainbow Records in Los Angeles - ,...I was horrified to see that they called the Song "Irie Bob",..I just laughed in horror because the CD was all printed and all done !! Voilà le disque de rock belge que vont prioritairement retenir cette année les observateurs étrangers. Comme le Ghinzu l'an dernier ou le dEUS précédemment. Tout est impressionnant dans cet « opéra moderne ». Tout flirte avec le meilleur d'une musique à la fois profonde et ambitieuse. C'est d'ailleurs cette folie et cette ambition démesurée qui justifient cette quatrième étoile. On tient là un très grand disque, enthousiasmant, riche et varié (...) LE SOIR ****

Ann-Margret - I Just Don't Understand (RCA Victor 7894)
fliped with ''I Don't Hurt Anymore'' issued on RCA Victor in 1961
http://www.ann-margret.com/
Born Ann-Margret Olsson, 28 April 1941, Stockholm, Sweden
Actress/singer/dancer/entertainer: best known for Bye Bye Birdie and Viva Las Vegas. Nominated for best supporting actress in Carnal Knowledge and best actress in Tommy
Born in Sweden but adopted by America
The family moved to Valsjobyn when A-M was still a little baby. This is a little village of about 150 people located in the mountains in the county of Jamtland. It is 4 miles east of the border of Norway. A-M is named after a Swedish swimming star her mother admired. She has no brothers or sisters
She came to the United States with her mother when she was five, settling in Wilmette, Illinois (north of Chicago). A-M's father who had come to America previously, greeted them
Ann-Margret has dazzled screen and stage audiences. With her film debut in Frank Capra's final classic, "Pocketful of Miracles" in 1962 to the recent Oliver Stone directed "On Any Sunday" with Al Pacino, Ann-Margret's film career has spanned four decades. Displaying a versatility that few actresses can match has earned her love and admiration, not just for her beauty and her legend but also for herself
Ann-Margret Olsson becomes Ann-Margret. George Burns propels her into national prominence in Las Vegas.
Her meteoric rise to stardom begins with a LIFE Magazine cover story from 11 January 1963
See http://www.geocities.com/Hollywood/Boulevard/5000/am-life630111.jpg
Her early film career incls. "Pocketful of Miracles," "State Fair," "Bye Bye Birdie," "Viva Las Vegas" with Elvis Presley, "Stagecoach," and "The Cincinnati Kid." Her fairytale marriage to Roger Smith. TV Specials, record releases, Las Vegas nightclub act, and national recognition as a "superstar sex symbol" punctuate Ann-Margret's life in the fast paced sixties
In '72, husband Roger started producing all of A-M's stage shows. At 12:30 at night while doing her 12th show (in 6 nights) at the Sahara Hotel in Lake Tahoe on Sunday, September 10th, A-M fell 22 feet on stage. Her injuries included numerous bones in the face above an eye which were broken or fractured; jaw broken in two places; left arm broken; knee injured. Dr. Frank Ashley performs a 5-hour operation at UCLA Medical Center. Roger gives A-M a 20-karat diamond ring. Reports say she lapsed into a 3-day coma
A-M does a remarkable comeback opening at the Las Vegas Hilton on Tuesday, November 28th with the 'AM/PM' show. A-M picks up the nickname of 'Slugger' since she proved her strength recovering from her accident.
The Seventies truly defined Ann-Margret as an actress with Academy Award nominations for her work in "Carnal Knowledge", and "Tommy." The accident was a near brush with death and it almost ended her career but following her live performances draw record crowds in the Orient, Las Vegas and Miami. Her body of work expands with more films, TV Specials and awards
This is the decade in which Ann-Margret grows up. The eighties begin with her winning her first Las Vegas Entertainer of the Year Award. She tours the country with her Vegas act. Her film career is full speed ahead and she stars in her first of several critically acclaimed TV Dramas, and is nominated for three Best Actress Emmy's. The Cryan Shames THE SAILING SHIP from 1967 Psychedelic Rock
Trippy 1967 song by US Psych Garage Rockers THE CRYAN SHAMES. This song was later adapted by THE BRIAN JONESTOWN MASSACRE as SAILOR. I put this together as a tribute to the original. Both songs are great though.
