A rational look at the Flood myth
Many creationists spend time in a desperate effort to prove the story of Noah's Flood. They mainly do this by making false claims about geology and debating what a "kind" is. Their efforts are futile, however, because the estimated date of the Flood isn't exactly prehistoric. All the proof we need is right there in front of us. There was no global Flood.

Noah's Flood: Myth or Reality? P1
Deluge myth: deluge myth or flood myth is a mythical story of a great flood sent by a deity or deities to destroy civilization as an act of divine retribution. It is a widespread theme among many cultures, though it is perhaps best known in modern times through the biblical account of Noah's Ark, the Hindu Puranic story of Manu, through Deucalion in Greek mythology or Utnapishtim in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Black Sea deluge theory: The Black Sea deluge is a hypothesized catastrophic rise in the level of the Black Sea circa 5600 BC due to waters from the Mediterranean Sea breaching a sill in the Bosporus Strait. The hypothesis made headlines when The New York Times published it in December 1996, shortly before it was published in an academic journal. While it is agreed that the sequence of events described did occur, there is debate over the suddenness and magnitude of the events. Two opposing hypotheses have arisen to explain the rise of the Black Sea: gradual and oscillating. The oscillating hypothesis specifies that over the last 30000 years, water has intermittently flowed back and forth between the Black Sea and Aegean Sea in relatively small magnitudes. Flood hypothesis: In 1997, Bill Ryan and Walter Pitman published evidence that a massive flooding of the Black Sea occurred about 5600 BC through the Bosporus, following this scenario. Before that date, glacial meltwater had turned the Black and Caspian Seas into vast freshwater lakes which were draining into the Aegean ...

Los Hombres Del Lago. A Student Documentary. SIT Study Abroad: Bolivia 2007
The story of a small Bolivian community of Uru-Muratos, Puñaca Tintamaria. Founded circa 2000 BC, it is currently on the brink of extinction. Narrated by the community's ex-leader, the film recounts the recent history of the community: their continuous poverty, lack of land and representation, the contamination of Lake Poopó, and the impact of global warmingThis student documentary was an independent study project in the SIT Study Abroad Bolivia: Culture and Development program, 2007. More analysis of the Flood myth
The story of Noah's Flood is so improbable that it's difficult to work out where to start. Here I examine the problem of finding the water required to flood the entire planet. During this video I refer to Thunderf00t's video, "Why do people laugh at creationists? (Part 3). This can be found here: www.youtube.com

Flood Myths - A folklorist's theory
A theory which I put forward to explain the vast amount of flood myths which have occurred in ancient cultures all around the world and which may disprove the Biblical flood narrative and the story of Noah's Ark. I am not saying this is how it happened, I am just putting this theory forward as a possibility. Please give me your feedback in either video response or comments below. Abusive comments will not be tolerated and if I deem necessary, removed and the user possibly blocked from my channel. I have been civil in this video, please show me the same respect in return.

Noah in the Bible is Escaping from Atlantis, the great Flood myths.
Noah, the well-known Biblical patriarch is a real individual living at the time of the Ending of the Atlantean civilization. Although he is actual and literal, he is also used to symbolize the type of people of the time. He happens to be one of the awakened, aware ones who is able to foresee the catastrophe coming. You could also compare those times to the times of today, couldn't you? So this is not all ancient history. This is pertinent to current events. Major cycles that spiral ever onwards.

The Math of the Great Flood
I was surprised to find very few places where the math of Noah's flood was discussed, so I made this video to illustrate the scale of what the bible describes. Seeing it calculated out makes the myth seem a lot more fantastical and less feasible. After researching this video, it became clear to me that the people who wrote this myth originally did not understand how outlandish their claims were at the time, because they didn't know how big the planet was, or how tall the highest mountain was, or how many species there are, or what that much rain looks like. Once you do the equations, you can see that this is all made up. For the ignorant desert tribes during the time of Gilgamesh, there was no danger that anyone would call the authors out, but the people of modern times have no excuse for blindly accepting it.

Gilgamesh was King of Uruk, modern day Iraq.
He reined in 2500 BC. The Gilgamesh flood myth is a deluge story in the Epic of Gilgamesh. Many scholars believe that the flood myth was added to Tablet XI in the "standard version" of the Gilgamesh Epic by an editor who utilized the flood story from the Epic of Atrahasis. A short reference to the flood myth is also present in the much older Sumerian Gilgamesh poems, from which the later Babylonian versions drew much of their inspiration and subject matter. I created this video with the YouTube Video Editor (www.youtube.com
