The awning over the delegates entrance at UN Headquarters is torn off as part of widespread damage wrought by Hurricane Sandy earlier this week. The storm affected a vast swath of the eastern United States, in particular the northeast and the New York metropolitan area, forcing the UNs offices to close for three days.
