Richard Stuart Linklater (born July 30, 1960) is an American film director and screenwriter. Linklater was born in Houston, Texas. He studied at Sam Houston State University and left midway through his stint in college to work on an off-shore oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico. While working on the rig he read a lot of literature, but on land he developed a love of film through repeated visits to a repertory theater in Houston. It was at this point that Linklater realized he wanted to be a filmmaker. After his job on the oil rig, Linklater used the money he had saved to buy a Super-8 camera, a projector, and some editing equipment, and moved to Austin. It was there that the aspiring cineaste founded the Austin Film Society and grew to appreciate such auteurs as Robert Bresson, Yasujiro Ozu, Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Josef Von Sternberg, and Carl Theodor Dreyer. He enrolled in Austin Community College in the fall of 1984 to study film. Since his early 20s, Linklater has been a vegetarian. Linklater founded the Austin Film Society in 1985 together with his frequent collaborator Lee Daniel, and is lauded for launching and solidifying the city of Austin as a hub for independent filmmaking. Inspiration for Linklater's work was largely based on his experience with the film Raging Bull, Linklater told Robert K. Elder in an interview for The Film That Changed My Life. He was one of the founders of the Center for Constitutional Rights and successfully argued before the Supreme Court of the United States. Kinoy was born on September 29, 1920 in New York City. He is an alumnus of Harvard University (AB, 1941), where he graduated magna cum laude, and of Columbia University (LL.B., 1947). As a student at Harvard, Kinoy was a member of the national executive committee of the American Student Union. Kinoy was attorney for the United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (UE), labeled a Communist-controlled union by the segregationist Mississippi Sen. James O. Eastland's Senate Internal Security Subcommittee (SISS). He took an active part in the defense of Ethel and Julius Rosenberg, who were executed on June 19, 1953, after conviction of atomic espionage. Kinoy made two last-minute efforts to save the Rosenbergs from execution. In the 1950s, he was associated with the law firm of Donner, Kinoy & Perlin, attorneys for such left-wing groups as the Committee for Justice for Morton Sobell and Labor Youth League. Kinoy was a member of the National Lawyers Guild, serving as national vice president in 1954. MARIA VIRGINIA MARCHESANO ballerina internazionale e insegnante della tecnica Nikolais , dopo essere stata ammessa , nel 2010 , al corso internazionale Nikolais-Louis Technique Teachers Certificate Program, progetto specifico per la formazione d'insegnanti di Tecnica Nikolais-Louis ( al presente unico corso riconosciuto dalla Nikolais-Louis Foundation for Dance di New York) tenuto dalla coreografa Simona Bucci già danzatrice solista della Alwin Nikolais Dance Company,coordinatrice e docente dell'Accademia Isola Danza La Biennale di Venezia diretta da Carolyn Carlson. Laureanda presso l'Accademia Nazionale di Danza di Roma in Didattica della Danza Classica, è tra i 14 coreografi italiani ammessi al progetto "Choreographic Collision" prodotto dalla Biennale di Venezia(2007). Deve la sua formazione artistica a varie esperienze maturate in Italia e all'estero come quelle presso il Centro Internazionale di Danza "Rosella Hightower" di Cannes (Francia) e con maestri di chiara fama tra cui Simona Bucci, Roberto Zappalà, Ismael Ivo, Yuval Pick, Ime Essien, Philippe Egli, Suzanne Linke, LLMalavacias, Helge Letonia, Antonella Bertoni, Richard Haisma .
